Beautiful views

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We especially enjoyed the quiet mornings and the beautiful sunsets. The porch was our favorite place! The home was comfortable and well appointed. We will definitely return to this perfect spot!

Good view of water.Mattresses in 2 rooms must be REPLACED…these 2 beds were UNCOMFORTABLE.Also not confident about cleanliness or the quality of the cleaning service specially with some of the linens , pillows , etc…We didn’t use the 3rd bedroom.You can see water damage and / or other damage inside and outside of the house.Apparently the home was advertised with a SCREENED-in porch area… but there is NOT a screened in porch area. Please inform & warn potential renters about insects ( mosquitoes, flies and WASPS!!! )I am going to speak ( call directly) to the property manager to discuss details & specific ISSUES.

Beautiful, Peaceful Stay

The house was lovely!! Looked just like the pictures. Kitchen had everything you needed. Location was great - waterfront with gorgeous sunset views from the porch, loved watching the birds and the boats. The gas fireplace was great on the one chilly, rainy day. We enjoyed our stay!!

Incredible everything. I needed to finish a work project so I spent 4 days on the porch, enjoying the ospreys and watching the boats sail by. There were bunnies and swaying tall grasses. The sunsets were breathtaking. Waking up in that master bedroom is like opening your eyes on a tropical island. The kitchen has everything you need. I just can’t rave enough about it.

Great, Great Experience

This was our first extended stay on Tilghman Island and we enjoyed the area and this property immensely. After a hectic and unsettling year, we were looking for a peaceful getaway and this was perfect. The views from the living room and screened in porch were expansive, beautiful and serene. Exactly what we were looking for. The house was very clean, well appointed and was just as described. Special shout-out to property managers Lexi and Dawn who responded to a minor (but distracting) maintanence issue and took personal care of it within a few hours on the July 4th holiday. That was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay at the Happy Place

We had a great stay at the Happy Place. The house had beautiful views, was comfortable, had a well stocked kitchen, and was clean (except for the anticipated bay bugs and ants in the house). We were not anticipating the well water to have such a strong smell, but it was bearable. The house didn’t quite feel like it was open for the season, ex. Bikes not super accessible, shed was rusted shut, and very dirty windows (which we cleaned the exterior of so we could see out of them). The host was outstanding - responsive, solution oriented, and kind. We had an issue with the AC and she was on top of it, even though it was late at night, and found us multiple solutions. We would stay here again, especially given how great Lexi was!

The master bedroom mattress was HORRIBLE literally the mattress looked like a boomerang. All the bathrooms and kitchen sink had watered down hand soap barely even filled. The water wasn’t filtered so it smelled and tasted foul. The WiFi was out our entire stay and I appreciate hosts were great at communicating and offered to get a hot spot for our stay. But overall I wouldn’t stay here again unless the basic comforts were provided.

Right on the water. Nice, clean house with kitchen, living and dining room downstairs. 3 Bedrooms upstairs. Plenty of towels.Only negative was that 2 of the mattresses were sagging and not level.We enjoyed our stay.

Simply relaxing

We had the most relaxing 4 days together that we’ve had in a long time. The sunsets were gorgeous and our visits to St Michaels were sooo enjoyable. Thank you to our hosts. We went on a boat cruise “The Patriot” which showed even more of this beautiful nature of world that we so often do t take the time to see.

Fantastic property! I highly recommend it for a quiet Chesapeake getaway. There is a marina very near by for boating.

Nice house beautiful peaceful views but needs upgrading some $ spent on it

As commented on by a previous guest the photo of the bridge is very misleading - it is next door The entire island has private water access making any walking impossible. The house has a very small water front Only 1 broken adirondac chair. The screen on the porch was damaged and useless. An old toaster/ small cooker kept blowing the trip switch and hence useless There was a smell of drains inside and outside on arrival and the agent was contacted immediately The house has no identifying number so can understand previous guests frustration in not being able to locate it The house needs love and $$ spend on it The hosepipe outside the front door snd broken lights for example Having previously stayed in a fantastic, faultless house 3 hrs away costing less $, the contrast was significant

Perfect house to relax

Nice house and location

Excellent location, house but no identifying house number and the steps to front door were stone and wood with no outside lighting- very dangerous at night but house was lovely

On the waters edge

Had trouble finding the place in the dark but happy when we got inside. Spacious, fit our needs. Toilets and tub need to be replaced as they are badly stained. Not very well equipped for the traveler, no soap, shampoo. Proximity to the bay was good. Enjoyed watching the boats.

On the Bay

Happy Place was right on the bay front, spent time relaxing on the screened in porch watching the eagles fish. The view is heavenly. Tilghman island is peaceful and relaxing and you’re a twenty minute drive from downtown St Michaels. Bed in master is ok but again, you can’t beat the view from this room and the master bath. We stayed mid week and all of the nearby restaurants were closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Not sure if that’s seasonal since it was the same for many places in St Michael. Folks everywhere we went were warm and welcoming.

Perfect Weekend for a Wedding

Lexi was easy to work with. The home is clean, stylish and has a beautiful view of the bay! We would highly recommend it to anyone going to Tilghman island or looking for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful spot

This is a perfect spot to enjoy some down time, gorgeous views and relax. The house is well equipped and it is lovely town. Highly recommend booking this one!

Toilet downstairs had small leak, shower had water stains. Wish there was a table to eat meals on .

Will be back again next year!

Another wonderful vacation at this beautiful home. Every time I come I never want to leave. Gorgeous water views and amazing sunsets. Also, very quiet and peaceful, but just a short drive to St. Michael’s if you want shopping and more restaurants. I will be back again next year!
