Great few days at Winter Park

The listing was extremely accurate, the host was very communicative, was easy to figure out the ski in/ski out through an adjacent buildiing. Only negative was the community pool was shut down for maintenance.

Winter break

Extended weekend getaway. Great location, would have liked a map of how to get to the catwalk to lift- no one was out first day so we ended up taking shuttle for 20+ min only to find we could have walked 50 steps up a little hill and got going:). Not a big deal, just an idea for future guests.

Ok, but not great.

The pluses of this property are: It large enough to accommodate the five of us w/ extra room, the property manager allowed an extra hour for us at check out & the property manager did a good job of communication about check in, etc. The minuses are the property required walking up hill thru the woods to get on the slopes. By definition it is a ski in/ ski out property, but be prepared to walk a little. My wife got to the point where she walked to the end of the street & took the shuttle to the village vs. dealing with climbing up the hill & dealing w/ a lot of flat areas on the slopes to get to the gondola. The unit needs a good cleaning. Lots of cobwebs in the ceiling beams. Also looks like mold or rotten wood in a window seal or two. This unit is in desperate need of some updates.

Nice quiet place, with easy access to Winter Park Base. Also, easy access coming off Mary Jane at the end of the ski day. I would rent again.

Property in need of repairs

Let me just start off by saying we have stayed at several places from VRBO. Have not stayed in a place with so many issues. I will say Winter park ski resort was amazing!! Dear owner, Pictures were deceiving. Master bedroom has a major water leak in ceiling drywall was wet and leaking onto the carpet 3 windows are shattered in living need replacing No extra towels, no paper towels, used sponge was left to clean dishes Oven was completely filthy!! kitchen facet needs to fixed Refrigerator door needs to be replaced or fixed Large Pillows on sectional need cleaning or be replaced. Cabinets were a mess. With stuff all over. The linen closet was a complete disaster. Owners stuff in closets and cabinets. Shower curtain was dirty and stained, liner torn needs to be replaced In guest bathroom The kitchen cabinet drawers were dirty with crumb and coffee dripping Along with the drawers in the bathrooms need cleaning Owner really needs to do some serious overhauling, updating and some deep deep cleaning.

Amazing space with room for everyone to spread out and relax. Owner was great to deal with during uncertain, confusing time with the ski area shutting down. Would definitely stay here again!

Please read before renting this property

Everything pretty much was OK, I would highly recommend that the homeowner needs to change out the appliances, The oven is from 1970, very difficult to maintain heat, also the back patio where the fence he had around the post, my six-year-old daughter almost went through and fell, the homeowner needs to fix that so it’s child safe, the windows have not been cleaned or sometime they did have spiderwebs, so I highly recommend getting on the cleaning crew and getting the windows clean, other than that great location, The only other last thing I do want to mention is the homeowner keeps all of his personal things there, and especially in the master closet there is no closet space at all to hang up our clothes because the homeowner has all of his belongings in the closets so there was no room to put our belongings and hang our clothes, so these are some things that I think the homeowner should address and have it fixed other than those things it was a great experience, thank you

Great Visit

This place is really nice. They might as well call it ski-in/out. The walk to the "Corridor" slope is maybe 200 yards across the parking lot then an elevator ride to a skywalk. So it is not exhausting by any means. Or, you can just walk up the hill around the building to get to the slope which we did a few times. Then you ride down to the gondola base area to pick up your lift tickets. The walk to the hot tub is maybe 50 yards. The bed folds down in the living room and a divider-wall pulls out to close off the space, so it essentially becomes a 3 bedroom and the living room turns into what could be considered the best room of the house. This place could be a great choice for 3 couples looking for something nice. We had 4 people and more than enough space.

Perfect Ski Getaway

Had a lovely time in this amazing ski getaway. The location is so convenient with ski in/ski out access to Winter Park Resort. Condo was very clean with all the amenities of home. Perfect location to take your family on a ski trip!

skylight in master bedroom a challenge!

The pros: Close to the mountain! Can walk to a cat track that takes you right to the gondola! Spacious living room 3 bathrooms The cons: Sky light above the master bedroom is about 3'x3' without a way to cover it. If you are sensitive to light, this will be an issue unless they fix it. Moonlight all night and the sun came in bright first thing in the morning...I couldn't sleep at all. This was not pictured or listed in the ad when I booked. One hot tub was not working in the community area and the other one was so full the first night, we couldn't get in. The second night we were able to go in and the water looked really dirty.

Quiet and Beautiful--Summer in the Mountains!

This clean and quiet condo was peaceful with amazing treetop views. It was the perfect base to explore the beauty of Colorado in the summer. So roomy you could host a large group, and beautifully decorated for relaxing or entertaining. We had everything we needed, and enjoyed the garage for parking. The heated pool and hot tub were a plus for cool summer nights. The nearby town of Winter Park met our shopping and dining out needs. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Relaxing Environment

My friends and I enjoyed the beautiful spacious condo. The view from the balcony & was breathtaking. Multiple windows for natural light added a sense of serenity. The property was beautiful with a stream & pool within steps & the village down the road to walk or drive. It was a quiet environment. Perfect getaway!

Winter Park Delight

The condo is just like the pictures . It's perfect for multiple guests, esp having 3 bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked with what's needed (you bring the food, of course). Lot's of space in living & BR. Rental agency & property contact excellent to work with. Check in time was only discrepancy, so check that. If need presents itself, we'd return, for sure!

Checkout instructions

Conflicting checkout instructions between the property manager email, and the guest instructions in the condo, lead to me not performing one of the desired checkout tasks. Recommend getting the two instructions to match.

Great Family Mountain Getaway!

Close enough to the hill, but far enough from the hustle! There is a slope down to the lifts/resort village maybe 50 yards away, and a demo/rental/gear place in the same spot. Super convenient!! Extremely well appointed (especially the kitchen), cozy, plenty of seating, beautiful scenery out of the windows...and, most of all, a great family vibe! Excellent communication from both the owner and management company rep. One thing to keep in mind, this is more of a residential/true condo type place...no store/front desk on site. Will need to drive to WP to get groceries/drinks...but once you do, you are set for days of fun on the hill!! For us, it was perfect!
