Thanks for your review, Doug and glad you enjoyed your stay! Admittedly, the spiral stairs are not how we would have built it but they had different plans in the 70's! We do our best to be upfront about it in the listing. I hope that it won't keep you from visiting us again as we enjoyed hosting you!

Good view. Property needs a deep clean. It would also be nice if there were a few beach necessities for the guest (chairs, umbrella and a few kids toys)

Thanks for your feedback—we’re glad you enjoyed the view. This is a laid-back beach cottage, not a luxury property, and it’s priced accordingly to offer strong value for the location. That said, cleanliness should always be top notch, and we’ll reinforce that with our cleaning team. We also appreciate the suggestion about beach gear. While we don’t currently provide chairs or umbrellas, we’ll take that into consideration as we look at ways to improve the guest experience without raising rates. Thanks again for staying with us.

Nice and Relaxing Stay

We stayed for a long weekend for a big family gathering in the area. Access to the beach was a breeze. Host was very responsive and kindly and quickly mailed back an item that was left behind. We enjoyed relaxing on both the upstair and downstair patios where we could see and hear the ocean.
