The property was clean and nice as a unit overall. It provided ample room/space for our large family with ability to separate. It was in a safe gated community. However, we had some concerns and big disappointments that really affected our stay.
For instance, I had deliberately inquired about the pool heater before booking due to the reviews I had read and the extra $50 fee it required. I was assured that it had been repaired and the pool heater was working properly. However, the pool heater did not work upon arrival and we had to wait to use it for 2+ days before it was fixed. The garbage disposal and the gas grill also did not work. We made an incident report for the grill and no one came to fix it so we were not able to use this amenity. The game room (one of the advertised amenities that made this property appealing) was useless as there was only 1 dart for the dart board, no sand for the shuffleboard and the basketballs for the hoop game were flat and there was no way to inflate them. There was also not near enough hot water for everyone to shower/bathe. After 2 people had showered/bathed, there was no hot water for anyone else to use which was a great inconvenience.
Although we did appreciate the amount of space and location, there were several amenities that were advertised and unable to be used at all or inadequately. We were advised by the property owner that these issues were basically insignificant as they have trouble with people stealing things which causes problems, but that they do not address the missing items for months as they do not live in the home but still advertise the amenity. Instructions and information about the inability to use the gas grill, arcade games or other things was not given to provide disclosure about them up front until i contacted the property owner after our stay. I believe property management could've been more helpful to the owner regarding such knowledge of issues and having these resolved for their patrons. We were however, given a refund for the pool heater fee.
