Clean and good location

This property suited our needs and had a great location for the baseball tournament we were in town for. A little dated but that’s pretty common for a lot of Oregon coast vacation rentals so it was no big deal. Check-in was easy and we enjoyed our stay.

Close to everything and very comfortable

Everything you need is here. Close to coffe shops, Safeway’s and other stores and shops, Casino and parks as well as the beaches. Nice park right across the street.

Ok

Was ok. Not as good as I remember. Master bed was awesome. Very comfortable. Close to beach. I work in maintenance and this house needs a few minor tweaks to bring it up to what I would consider a true vacation home

Great vacation house

Loved the layout and feel of the open space and high ceiling. Kitchen was well equipped. We were notified in advance that the dishwasher was not working, so that was okay. The gas fireplace was also inoperative, but they added it to the schedule to get checked out. The rest of the house was as expected -- or better! We had a great time.

enjoyable house.

I enjoyed staying in this house. There are 2 things that should be taken care of. The Many of the electrical outlets do not work properly and should be checked for loose or corroded wires. The kitchen sink aerator is missing and it can easily soak you and the floor. Not complaining, just making you aware. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Nice little place

Total Relaxation

Very very accommodating and clean. Great location. Bed a little firm for the back. Maybe a TV in Master with cable would be a nice addition.

Nice cozy getaway on the beach

My husband and I enjoyed this stay with our dog. The provided dog sheets were very helpful as well as the fenced back yard. It was very easy to walk right to the beach and had a little park right in front of it.it is a great location with all of the stores near by. Definitely doing this next year! :)

House was in a good location but had one major bummer for our stay

No bbq as advertised! We planned a family dinner and had to find another location to cook, which was very frustrating and not easy to bring all the food to another location. Also, the back yard is not accessible from inside the house in case, another bummer. The house itself was nice for what we needed though (note the carpet in the bedrooms are clearly stained from dogs potty) but the rooms and living room was nice and open.

Clean, with GORGEOUS high ceilings

Gorgeous place, with a nice, vaulted ceiling. Made it nice and cool inside without the need of an A/C. Trust me, I know. I turned the "cool" setting to "on" on the thermostat the first night thinking I'd need it. Hahaha, I was so wrong!

Great Getaway!

The house was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Even for our pets. The sheets on the king bed were really scratchy. We were never able to find the gas grill. There was no door leading to the back of the house. I would definitely stay there again, but....bring my own sheets!

Not bad. Used to being able to see ocean. Very closed in by bushes

It wasn’t bad. REALLY needs new fridge ASAP. Leaks water from freezer into food with out bowl under it. Bushes out front MIGHT have a homeless person in them. Was kind of scary for me and my sister staying there. Other than that, I was ok with it!!!

Coastal vacation

We had our friend and her grandson from Colorado come see us in Vancouver WA and we wanted to take her to the Oregon coast. Checking in went well and the place was beautiful and nice. We spent most of our daytime hours visiting nearby towns. We ate all lunches and dinners out so we can’t say much about the kitchen amenities but they appeared good. My suggestion is that you get a non-slip mat for the primary bathroom tub/shower and add a suction grab bar on the wall. I started to slip in the shower but thankfully I caught myself. My friend said the water temperature in the laundry room shower didn’t get very hot. We decided that we would enjoy staying at Captain Bill’s again when we use the house more. Overall, the place was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Very clean with plenty of bedding and bath supplies. Convenient location. Negatives: Had difficulty getting entrance to the home. Code did not work. Called and spent at least 20 minutes on hold. Finally hung up and on second attempt pressed "1" for emergency. (Still placed in a queue for a good 5 minutes.) Answering service was very polite and able to get us in. Frustrating when tired. Home needs some attention to the electrical outlets. Many throughout are so worn out they will not hold a plug. Only enough Hot water for two reasonable showers. Kitchen only had salt and pepper. Maybe state this in your listing to bring anything needed to prepare meals. Any place we've used before had the basic spices and pan spray.

Clean and Comfy

This house was super clean and had everything we needed. Convenient to the beach with a parking lot public access a short drive away. Notes all over with instructions but would have been nice to have a binder with everything in one place instead of all over. Entry keypad was hard to read and there were no instructions we found on how to lock it by putting the code in again when you leave the house. Really advise making this clear to be sure the home is kept safe and locked when no one is there. Catering to dogs by having special towels and sheets labeled for dogs was a great addition We managed to log in to our Prime Video and watch our own choices. But with several remotes some instructions would have been helpful. The large fenced back yard was great but inconvenient that there is no entrance to the yard from inside the house so we had to be sure to be dressed to go out in order to take our dog out. Concern too that there was no second exit from the home in case of emergency. The hose out front to wash off sandy feet was great but there is a hose bid unused in the back yard and it would be good to have a hose there as well to easier hose off our dog’s feet. Surprised there was no seating at all in the back yard but that is our mistake not reading the listing more carefully.

terrible place not clean and smells bad.

The place was so dirty and smelly I would of walked out of there in 5 minutes if I could of gotten another house. If I left I wouldnt of gotten my money back and had no where to stay and this was not for a couple days we were there for 6 1/2 days.The outside of the house walking up around the front door is dirty and stuff is broken. The yard is so over grown there is no front yard,weeds for grass in the back and overgrown. No place to bbq or sit and have a glass of wine outside in the evening. The carpet was beyond disgusting with so many stains it was hard to tell what color the carpet was. Some of the carpet was coming lose. So many marks and stains on the walls. Floor vents and blinds on the windows stained , dirty and rusted. The inside of the house does not look like the pictures on the internet. Most of the furniture and decor in the pictures is gone. Furniture dirty and ripped so bad you cant use it. Wall plugs 1/2 dont work and other half when you plug something in it wont stay in. Kitchen has a terrible mismatch of dishes that the bottom of the tea pot rusted out and one side of the cutting board so badly stained it should be in the trash or bleached to be clean. Every thing looks and smells like a old persons home from the 50's that has never been updated. I would of left in 5 minutes if I could of gotten my money back and found another place to stay. My dogs were even uncomfortable there. They would not lay down and relax and keep walking around hug areas that smelled to them and they could not find a clean place to lay down. This house needs a major overhaul on the inside and cant believe what you are charging for the dirty house we had to stay at. I would like to get more then my cleaning deposit back but I am sure that wont be possible. I took pictures in case I was accused of doing something to the house or I had to prove how dirty this house was. You really should once in a awhile go to the properties you rent and check on them . Make sure they are a place you would want to stay for a week or more. And that this house reflects your reputation of you business. I have rented from you guys in the past for many years and always been happy with the houses except this one and will think twice about renting from you guys in the future. I cant afford to spend money and drive over 6 hours to spend a week in a dump. This house we would rate it as a -10. Find another house to rent and not this one.

Great stay!

Wonderful location close to the beach. Home well layed out. Comfortable main bed. Back yard nice. Had to enter from the side of the garage. Kitchen well stocked.

Almost perfection!

Overall, the house was perfect! Neither TV worked. The maintenance person showed the second day and said the main room one is broken, and the one in the bedroom is strictly for gaming/DVD’s; it was not hooked to cable. Unfortunately, my 85 year old mother depends on the TV to fall asleep so that wasn’t an ideal situation.

Great Little Get Away!

My friends and I loved your place! It was just the right fit too! Loved how it was simple yet with the high ceiling and windows it made the place seem huge! It was a plus that it was only minuets walk to the beach as well! I also loved that it was pet friendly as I brought my fur babies along. They sure enjoyed their stay too! Should I come back to Lincoln, I for sure will be staying there again!
