The property was very nice and accommodated us well. We enjoyed morning walks, breakfast at the kitchen table and some night chats on the deck. All the amenities were accurate, check in and check out was clear and easy. Great house near the water.

This was a perfect place for my out-of-town family to stay while visiting the area. They just loved it. Gorgeous views, beach nearby, home was updated and decorated so nicely. Kitchen was well-equiped. I would rent this property again!

Great location

Views were beautiful. 2 minute walk to see sunset every night. House is 8 minutes from just about everything.

A sunny beautiful house with stunning views

Four of us stayed comfortably in this clean, modern house with great views of the ocean from the living room, porch and upstairs br. I would definitely recommend this place.

Family Stay on Great Neck

We had a wonderful family visit to Ipswich and this great house. The views are even better than the pictures. The whole neighborhood has amazing vistas to the ocean. The house was a perfect size for a family of 6. Four adults and two kids. It has everything you need. Owners are great, we will come back here on all return visits to the area.

weekend stay

The house was perfect. I went for a quick weekend stay. I opted for a house instead of hotel so I could have my friends and their grandkids over - and I certainly made the right choice. The house was well stocked, clean, bedding and beds were so comfortable. Very kid friendly but in a subtle way. Although it was not warm weather, the house is equipped with all your beach needs! The view was amazing and it is a 3 minute walk to the beach. Liz was amazing and made it such a pleasant trip! She actually notified me that I could check in early?! Above and beyond. I wash my trip was longer.

September Vacation

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at Liz and Chris’s home. The location is very close to the beach and there are plenty of hiking trails nearby as well. Views from the balcony/deck are amazing. The home is beautifully decorated and well stocked. The hosts were very thoughtful and were excellent with communication throughout the stay. We would definitely stay again.

Ipswich Again

This is the second time that we have rented 5 Hillside Rd in Ipswich, MA. The location is great, a short 50 yard walk to the beach and views from the porch that overlook the bay. The house, as last year, was clean and well stocked when we arrived. No need to go to the local stores to stock up on necessities, paper goods, toiletries, etc.. Also, the owners had left a welcome gift of pastries and coffee which was most appreciated. If we go back to Ipswich in the future, we would definitely want to re-rent 5 Hillside.

primary bedroom problems

The primary bedroom needs blackout curtains, and gets really hot with the door closed. Lobster pot was barely adequate, and there were no lobster utensiles to be found.

Comfortable house in quiet neighborhood

If you are looking for a modernly furnished, clean and comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood steps away from the beach then this property in Great Neck is a great choice. It has all the amenities you need and comes exactly as advertised. The owners are really nice and responsive and even welcomed us with a gift basket supporting local businesses such as the coffee shop, wine store and butcher. If we ever plan to come back to this part of new England we certainly would rent this property again. Thank you for a great renting experience in Gloucester.

Perfect!

Could not have asked for anything better. The house was so clean and tastefully decorated and furnished, we felt as if we were in the comfort of our own home. The location was excellent for walking and going to the beach, and the views were spectacular. Amazing host! We will definitely rent this house again ..and again. Lovely home with a beautiful view

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was plenty of space for the five of us. The rooms were exactly as pictured and the house had a lot of light and lovely views of the water. It was also very clean and the check-in process was simple and straightforward. Perfect in every way

Fantastic Accomodations and Location

We have stayed at a number of VRBO rentals and this one was the best yet. It was very well appointed and the linens and paper goods were more than sufficient. The location is great; just a short walk to the public beach and the Ipswich/Essex area is filled with sights and great restaurants. If we visit this area in the future we would certainly hope that we could rent 5 Hillside Rd. again.

Perfect beach home away from home

As a former Ipswich resident and the nephew of a Great Neck homeowner who lives just up the hill from this property, I was very excited about staying here to visit with family for the first time since before the pandemic. My wife, two teens and I anticipated this stay for months, and it more-than lived up to all of our expectations. A beautiful home in one of our favorite places. Top-notch property with all the amenities, and we look forward to staying here again. We hosted family members for dinner, enjoyed days on the beach, and had a wonderful home to retreat to after gatherings at my Uncle's and a day in Boston. I can not recommend this property highly enough ... but keep it between us, OK? I don't want too much competition for future stays.

Great location!

Superb vacation in Ipswich. The property was perfect - very clean, well-equipped kitchen, just a stones throw from the beach (great views) and plenty to do in the area through short day trips. Very highly recommended.

Thanksgiving weekend stay in Great Neck, Ipswich

A very comfortable and well-appointed property with nice water views. Our stay was enjoyable in every respect. The communications with the host were excellent and nothing was lacking in terms of what was provided. Highly recommended!

Perfect Beach house

Perfect Beach Vacation

This was a three generation family week vacation: grandparents, parents and two small children. The house is located perhaps 100 yards from Pavilion beach a sheltered, gently sloping cove. Bigger beaches - Crane and Plum Island are nearby. Also within 100 yards are a high quality playground, basketball hoop and kids size soccer field. The house is located off the main road - we hardly noticed any traffic, and up a small hill which provides excellent views from the two decks. Inside everything is very new, very clean and very high quality ranging from the kitchen appliances and bed linens to the beach towels and chairs provided. Communication with the owners via the VBRO app was very easy and quick and our questions were answered very Overall we highly recommend the.property and won’t hestitate to use it again in the future July 2020
