The views were indeed excellent, even from the lounge room - helps that the unit is on the 4th floor. All the appliances are Smeg brand. Lounge / dining has air con' as do both bedrooms, greatly appreciated as our first 2 days were 36 C ! Beds are comfy, the surrounds of the units are generally quiet too 7 just behind the local shops, only 200 m to the beach ! One issue is parking area entry, there is a key pad which requires a number (we assumed it was the key tab number) it didn't work, thankfully a resident was leaving & showed me the electronic entry tab on the BACK of the box - there was NO instruction about it with the key set we received !

Well located but lacking in amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. walking distance to shoal bay restaurants and beach. Accommodation was clean and bright. Upon closer inspection though, all the kitchen utensils, glassware and pots were filthy. Winning asks you to clean before you leave, so it looks as if they don’t clean up after anyone. We spent a good hour cleaning old food, marks and grime off of plates and glasses. They also do not provide basic things like hand wash, toilet paper and dishwashing detergent. Considering COVID and that it is a holiday rental, it’s frustrating to have to buy these supplies when you’re only there for 2 or 3 days.

Great Unit convenient location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very modern and clean and comfortable. Unfortunately had a great smart tv but no WIFI supplied which would have thought would be good in unit at this price point.

Great Location!

Had a wonderful time at Shoal Bay. Unit was so close to beach and restaurants ( 2 mins walk). Unit was new and modern. Only downfall was the quilt covers were still dirty from previous tennants. Built in Mirrors in main bedroom were very dirty and had not been cleaned. Under beds were very dusty. We found cockroaches In kitchen and bathroom areas. Needs proper cleaning between tennants.

Lovely location

Well appointed clean apartment with great views & all that you need for a stay with a young family. Walking distance to beach, playground & local restaurants. Unfortunately, there was a pest problem with recurrent cockroaches in the apartment. Apartment gets very hot in summer as you could expect & as there are no flyscreens, you are unable to keep windows open for fresh air. Air conditioning although working, is faulty & emits very loud random noises repeatedly(even when turned off after use) waking & frightening our sleeping children & adults alike making it unusable during the evening/through the night. Only way to stop the noise was to switch it off at main power switch.
