Great Vacation

We had a great time at Viex Carre. It was a little farther away from the French Quarter/Historic District than I was expecting, but we enjoyed the walks there each day.

Mom and daughters trip

Charming exterior, clean, comfy beds, awesome big vanity and shower, not a bad walk to shops, restaurant's and bars on King St., centrally located for exploring all areas around the city. The only downside was that it noisy with nearby construction early in the a.m. and hospital helicopters, easily remedied with earplugs when sleeping.

Great visit

Great location. Stay Duvet was very communicative and helpful. There was a discrepancy between the booked price what we were charged, however, Stay Duvet quickly resolved the issue

Location and Apartment were great. Communication with management was good. They made everything easy and provided great resources before and during your stay. Beds were comfortable and place was clean and orderly. Kitchenette had everything we needed.I few things that would have made it better: WiFi was a major struggle, even after they put a hotspot in for temporary use, it still wasn’t great. Too much time was spent in trying to figure it out. Would be great to have fan on patio to keep bugs away and to cool it down. Lastly, a small table to eat a meal would be great.Overall, we’d again and would definitely stay at a Stay Duvet property again.

Girls Weekend 2022

Four of us friends fantastically enjoyed our stay! Unit is sunny and bright, upper porch (especially the swing) was so great for morning coffee, afternoon spritzers and chatting up after an amazing dinner. Location perfect walk to many restaurants and bars !

Great place for girls weekend!

Great stay at East Elm! Clean and updated. We loved the porch swing and mornings and afternoons on porch! Easy walk to great restaurants (Fuel, Five Loaves) and King Street. Cheap Uber ride to downtown as well. Definitely would stay again!!

Great stay

Enjoyed our stay. The apartment is perfect for a couple. Loved the porch. Good location. Because of the central location and hospital nearby it did make for a noisy night but we came prepared with noise machine and could ignore it for the most part. Parking was very tight- Glad we were in a rental car. Communication with duvet team was great.

Wonderful location with a couple of minor issues

We enjoyed the location and the condo. There were a couple of issues we did find - saw several cockroaches running around at night, near the sofa in front of the fire place; the toilet wobbles when you sit on it; and there were several stains on the sheets in the bedroom closest to the bathroom.

Terrible

The condo is unclean, there is no where to sit anything.... (no nightstands) and almost zero bathroom counter space, maintenance came in to change air filter while we were resting using a paint brush to throw dust all over our belongings, then dropped tons of dust from air filter and did not bother to clean up. Designated parking spot was occupied by wrong tenant or maintenance man the entire time. The TVs did not work, brought hot spot, it didn't work... TV would work for two minutes then go blank. Internet worked when it felt like it. Not a very comfortable stay to say the least. Management crew lackluster in maintaining and responding to issues.

Time with my son

This was my first excursion to stay in the downtown area in a condo. Normally I stay on Meeting or King in a hotel. Hotel rooms, while nice, do get a bit cramped after several days. This suite fit the bill perfectly. From the high ceilings to the spacious living room and bathroom, I enjoyed the roomy feel of this condo. The large porch was an enjoyable outside space. While it is a shared space, it's large enough to feel private. I would suggest a ceiling fan to add to the porch's appeal. It was quite warm in the afternoon. Additionally, the location on Spring St. was convenient. Internet connection was spotty, so that's a suggestion for improvement

Charleston Chapter One

Once I finally reached the house (I’m not real good with directions) I was delighted with the Southern charm of it ... unlike some reviews, I was excited that we were near a hospital & found the helicopter landings inspiring... the 2bedroom space was perfect, the large & spotless shower was a wow factor for sure! It was a perfect stay for 2 girls & their fur babies ... the dogs loved the balcony porch, we enjoyed the neighborhood too ... a couple of suggestions: a bigger parking area is critically needed (my car was scraped by someone trying to park their vehicle) and in other vacation rental houses in the South, I have been welcomed with fruit, cheeses & cracker baskets and with a bottle of wine. Guests always arrive a little hungry & weary from the drive or flight , and would savor this first impression of the property . Also a few brochures on great places to eat & shop get the guests interested & curious about shopping in their new town ! I wanted to stay a month ... we kept finding great places to explore in Charleston!! (Also , we didn’t know if we were supposed to use the laundry room or not ... so we didn’t .) Looking forward to visiting Charleston again! Thank you !!

Property itself was great, location not the best

On the plus side, Property was great, perfect size for 3 adults and fantastic porch space. Owners very responsive to reports of minor issues. On the negative side, it was further from the heart of downtown than I expected, not really walkable. Also, hospital is right around the corner so very noisy with sirens and MediVac helicopters which sounded as if they were landing on our heads. Finally, we struggled with parking. Other visitors parking in our space or parking so badly we couldn’t get in or out of our car if we tried.

What a great place!

This apartment was such a great find. We were in Charleston for 3 days and the space was so comfortable and CLEAN. The bathroom was a great treat! We walked over the Hominy Grill for dinner and it was so good we went back the next morning for breakfast. I made the mistake of assuming there was a kitchen in a two bedroom apartment. It would be great if a small fridge was added for cold drinks and a coffee pot would really be awesome. The last thing that needs to be available are hangers in the closets.

Nice stay in a very comfortable porperty

We really enjoyed our stay in Charleston and in this appartement. For the four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) it has the perfect sice. We were able to cook our breakfast and dinner - perfect with two picky kids. I have no complains about the property. Everything was clean and enough towels were offered. Maybe a fourth chair on the patio would be a good idea and at least one sharp knife in the kitchen (we bought one to cut meat and vegetables).We had no troubles with the parking lot - it was very convinent for us! Thanks to Quinn and the whole team!
