Worst vacation ever!

The property is ok, it's on a dirt road at the far end of town about 10 minutes from everything, which isn't terrible. What is terrible is the place was so hot that first night even with windows upen and the fans running that sleeping/trying to sleep in the horribly uncomfortable beds was an awful experience. Combine that with the water tank ran dry causing us to get 2 rooms at a motel in town overnight for my wife, daughter, and son while I stayed behind, covered in sunscreen and lake water, unable to shower or wash off effectively, with the dogs until the next morning when the guy with the water truck came to fill up the tank. The downstairs also smelled like sewage, the home uses a septic tank. Lastly, the stove had two settings super crazy hot and hotter than that. Due to COVID we brought most of our food and planned on cooking and reheating our meals, hard to reheat homemade pasta sauce when you can only put 1/4 of the pan on the burner without it bubbling over or scorching the sauce. We were so disappointed we've asked VRBO for a complete refund and we left a night early as we couldn't take another night in the heat and those terrible beds. Never going back, VRBO hope my refund comes soon.

This guest is a nightmare guest. Comped a night because of the inconvenience of water not being delivered on time. They said everything was fine until they checkout and days later came up with all these bogus complaints. I have brad new beds and they companied. The oven temperature was not up to their standards (which is bogus it’s work perfectly fine) and smell?! It does not smell like sewage. This is the type of guest we hate renting to because they try to find something wrong with everything. They are just looking for a free stay by comparing about anything and everything. Also renting a cabin in the mountains in the middle of a heat wave which you know most cabin don’t have air conditioning and then complaining about it is ridiculous. Good luck having any host tent to you. I’ve alerted all my fellow hosts to look out for this complainer. You are better off at the four seasons. He did NOT get a full refund for all his bogus complaints FYI

House is for sale, and was not well taken care of. It does the job but it has a empty feeling to it.

House was as described but poor maintenance gave it a feeling of abandonment. Lots of small broken things Blinds, window locks, electrical outlets, TV wires just hanging down. One of the bedrooms had a very musky smell almost like a basement like the door hadn't been opened in a long time. Paint peeling in a lot of areas inside and out. Although a barbecue was advertised in the ad after we booked we were informed the barbecue is broken. A positive is they allow small pets with a deposit. Also the owner was good about communication. We were there 4-wheeling so it was very close to the trailheads which is great. It has a garage that you can use while you're there which is also nice. Unfortunately I have to say I would not rent here again. The impression our group got was the house is for sale and the owners not looking to put any more money into it to take care of it.

Absolutely wrong renter review. Home is not for sale!!! House is full not empty at all? I don’t even have paint on my walls? No smell. Always have super clean. Have no idea what this renter is referring too but all is wrong with his review?

Wonder weekend Getsway

Completely enjoyed my birthday weekend with friends. This cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to have a wonderful and reassuring trip. Not sure if the owner was do blame or the booking company for sending me the wrong door code causing me to interrupt the owner to get the right one along with telling me we leave all trash in the garbage yet she informs me it’s 15$ A bag. As if I would leave my trash knowing there was s charge for each.

Hi MaeOllie Young, I am super happy you enjoyed your stay. Makes me feel great knowing you had everything you needed. As for the trash removal, I sent you the new house rules because of the changes i have made with the codes and trash removal rules. I sent them 2 months before your stay and you confirmed you received. I also messaged you three times (thru home away and text) and over the phone to make sure you understood the trash house rule was to take all your trash with you or the $15 charge per bag will be issued. You confirmed three times but yet still left the trash behind and kept referring back to the old rules which I told you, those were incorrect and to only read the new ones I sent you 2 months ago. I try to give all my guest the benefit of the doubt. I reiterate the trash removal rules many times. there is only so much I can do. Thank you again for your stay i wish the communication was a little better. I have made sure that those old house rules do not come up at all anymore. I hope you would consider staying at my cabin again now knowing the trash rules.

AmazZZZZZZZing

I cant thank the owner enough for letting us stay in her cabin. She has taken a lot of time and dedication to details inside the home That it feels like your own home. We did not leave the cabin for the 3 days we were there. The kids just walked outside and played all day in the snow. The views from the balcony are just breathtaking. We were a large group of 6 adults and 6 kids never ran out of things to do . The property manager was there to greet us and good thing she was there she helped us get un stuck out of the snow. FYI put your chains on car on the main street before heading up the un maintained road.

Amazing

We never left the cabin. It is equipped with everything you can think of. The owner Cynthia has thought about every single detail. We were greated by Araceli thank goodness she was there and helped us get unstuck out of the snow. It was such a relaxing weekend did not worry about a thing. The view from the private deck is gorgeous. Surrounded by trees and snow. Perfect for the kids to grab a sled and walk outside the front door to play. I can't thank Cynthia enough for allowing us to stay there.FYI put chains on on the main street..or u will get stuck going up the dirt road it is not maintained.
