Hello Angie. I first want to apologize again, that you had to wait, to receive the final part of the door entry code. I try to do everything in advance, to ensure that my guests have a pleasant experience. It is normally a very smooth process when my guests are able to share their expected time of arrival. When I know what time my guests will arrive, I can work around any issues, to ensure immediate availability during the check in process. The information that you have shared (regarding the asterisk) is actually one of my layers of security, during the check in process. While I share the access code, I wait until the guest has arrived to share the final access information. This allows my guests the convenience of checking in at any time, without waiting for me to meet them with the key. When I receive a call, from the phone number listed on the booking, asking for the last digit, of the code, I know that the proper person will be entering the home. I am so very sorry that I did not know what time you would arrive. I am currently dealing with a situation that requires that I turn my phone off before entering an area, but I will surely be more pro-active in the area of missing phone calls, whether I have received ETA's or not. It was nice being able to sit down and chat with Ray. We were called to the house because there seemed to be a problem with getting the toilet to flush. I had a plumber to come over and he verified that the plumbing is fine, but that too much paper was being used in the toilet. It is a High Efficiency toilet which was installed about one year ago. There is a button for liquid waste and a button for solid waste. If the solid waste button is not used when necessary, it might present some difficulty in the first flush. We did not receive any details on the problem that Ray was having, so we are not sure if too much paper, or the wrong button was used, but we were happy to have the plumber there, while he was there, to verify that there is no issue with our plumbing line. It is recommended that there be one towel per guest, in vacation rentals, where washers and dryers are available. Ray was traveling with four guests. I left a total of 13 sets of towels, which included 13 Face Towels, 13 Hand Towels, and 13 Bath Towels, for Ray's group. I am sorry that the amount of towels did not meet Ray's expectations. Ray Mentioned that he and his guests prefer Firm beds. I have taken that into consideration, and am currently putting together a market research, involving returning customers and first time customers, to find out, whether soft or firm, is the most desired. When you checked in, I made you aware that we had just hosted a work crew, who did not use the house gently, and that were some little things, like the French door screen, being off track, and we had the work scheduled and you could choose to have it wait, or done while you were there. After you left, I noticed that some of my wooden furniture had claw marks and scratches in them. We are a pet free property and the cameras are there to monitor the property, durin your stay, just as the cameras do at hotels and other places of business. The cameras also sometimes reveals that animals have been brought to the home. Moses guests feel safer because of the cameras, and they understand that many guests will break rules or take things from the home, if there are no cameras. You are the first to complain about the beds. We will take a closer look at the beds and ensure accommodation are consistent with the price point. At this price point, you will not find Sleep Number beds. But you will find very clean comfortable beds. I am sorry to only now hear about the beds, two months after you checked out. But again, we will take a new look at the beds. We certainly don’t want anyone sleeping on springs and we have received good reviews after you checked out. No one has mentioned the beds, yet we take every accusation seriously. We did not send you a bill for the pet damage and we will continue to protect the yard, with cameras.

Thank you so much for allowing us to accommodate your stay in the city. It is travelers like you, who make owners very proud of the decision to offer a very heart-felt service to travelers with large families. I grew up with a family of 13 siblings, and when I became old enough to travel and found myself paying $150 and up, per night, for a hotel suite, with one bedroom, I knew that I wanted to provide an alternative for people with large families, like my own. Your family fully represents the definition of model guests. Thank you for leaving the home so clean and for leaving things, around the house, as you found them, so that less time was spent on doing inventory.

Greetings Ambra, I am grateful to see that you and your family had a safe return abd are doing well. I regret that the final text that I sent to you, regarding the passcode. Was confusing for you. I just went back to the Vrbo portal to verify that I sent you the correct code. I did. It was a 6 digit number, which consisted of the last 4 digits of your number, with two additional digits. Please look again. You did not let me know that you were having problems getting in, but my notifications let me know that you were not in. When you arrived, you said that you had not checked your email yet. When you did, you were viewing the text that was giving you instructions on how to unlock the door, from your phone. The initial code allowed you to enter the code into the keypad. After now hearing that it was confusing, I may opt to refrain from issuing access to unlock via the phone app. I am also surprised to hear that there was too much furniture in the room. Eighty percent of our clients, book the home, because they are in town for weddings. Wedding parties tend to need as many chairs and mirrors as we can afford them. We are beginning to see a higher percentage, about 5% of clients, who are in town for sports events or competitions. I understand that the needs of the two industries are quite the contrast. You are the second group, in 5 years, to complain about too many items. Two complaints are enough for me to seek a solution., for guests who will be sitting in the chairs, while getting ready for the wedding, and guests who prefer to have that space to move around in. Perhaps I can replace the reclining chairs with chairs that can easily be placed in the large closet. Regarding the towels, as you saw, I purchase nice towels for the house and because they rotate the housekeepers that they send, sometimes I am not immediately made aware if some of the dish cloths may have been erroneously taken. I gave you five stars and did not mention that you checked out at 11:30, although checkout time was. 11:00 a.m. Housekeeping was running late that day, so there was no conflict. All of the bedrooms have large empty closets with empty shelves, where the coffee and tea trays can be placed, if the guest does not require them. We want the home to feel more warm than bare, so perhaps we will just place the trays in the closet, rather than getting rid of them all together. We are happy that we were able to accommodate you and your family, as you celebrated your daughters wedding. We also hope that you were pleased that we allowed the engagement party of 20 additional guests, which required additional cleaning fees that we did not add, this time. We always encourage our guest to communicate with us about their concerns, as we have found that most concerns can be clarified. You did not notify us that the shower did not work. The cleaning staff, who cleaned after your stay, experienced no problem. Perhaps the wrong handle was being used. We have never received any concerns of water pressure issues in the baths. We have adjusted it in the kitchen, due to wood floor safety. However, we will take a look at that issue. The recycling service runs every other week, therefore, the recycling can may have had recyclables inside. The regular trash bin was empty. i understand that your celebration generated more trash than expected, and we were okay with the amount of trash that you left behind. We are sorry that you had trouble with the lighting. Going forward, we will leave additional instructions, just in case anyone else has problems with them, but will prefer not to ask about them. We offer 4 bedrooms with 6 beds total. that breaks down to $56 per rom, night, plus exclusive dining, living, movie room, kitchen privileges, and back yard space, i am so sorry that that you found us to be too pricey, but we do thank you for trusting us to provide a clean and comfortable stay for you and your family.
