We rent only Sat to Sat. because I buy ferry tickets for ur vehicle for each week in July and Aug. We pass the $340 fee on to you.
Yes Our Home is a Large Airy, Sunny 4 bedroom five minutes from the beach. Hardwood floors just installed in all of second floor and LR of Great room. Very relaxing.
Two master bedrooms upstairs with skylights that can open at nite to catch the ocean breezes. Loft area has a queen futon and bureau with table lamps. There is a full bathroom - Shower, vanity and toilet upstairs. And a 2nd full bathroom downstairs.
Linens - sheets and towels- Are Not Provider. Most Renters want to bring their own linens ie. sheets and towels. There are rental agencies for linens. Get sheets for 1 King, 3Queens (inclds Futon) and 2 Doubles plus towels cost approximately $500. Questions ask Sam. I have ferry tickets, Saturday to Saturday, for all the summer weeks! I transfer the car ferry tickets at their cost.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms which are tiled and roomy. There is a full bathroom - tub-shower,vanity and toilet.
There are 4 Bedrooms total. Two Bedrooms upstairs and Two Bedrooms downstairs. There is a outside shower too.
The Greatroom is an open area composed of an extended LR with tv at one end and fireplace at the other.
The fully stocked Kitchen and DR are next to the LR making a family sensitive feeling. Yes great for families. With one upstairs and one downstairs. Nice for some privacy.

Great location and comfortable Home!

This is a very comfortable home with a location great for getting everywhere and doing anything - walking, biking, heading to beaches or just sitting on the deck to read. Owner happy to share information about the island and easy to contact!

We had a great stay overall and enjoyed our time at the property. The owner is quick to respond and was a great host. However, there were a few maintenance issues that affected our experience. The basement had a noticeable musty moldy smell that impacted some of our guests, and the water heater seemed damaged, limiting hot water availability. Additionally, the downstairs shower drain had some issues. While the home has potential and a lot of charm, it could benefit from some updates and repairs.

My family had an absolutely wonderful stay! Sam was incredibly attentive and helpful, both before and during our trip, and his thoughtful local suggestions made our visit even more memorable. The house itself is stunning—beautiful, well-lighted, spotless, and with large spacious, very comfortable rooms. It was fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils you could need and well-stocked bathrooms, making our stay effortless and relaxing. The home also offers fantastic indoor and outdoor sitting areas, perfect for spending quality family time or simply unwinding. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, yet the location is ideal—just 5 minutes from downtown Edgartown, easily accessible by car or bus, and with easy access to multiple beaches. The house is even more beautiful in person than the photos show, and it truly felt like home away from home. We couldn’t recommend this property more and would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful Vineyard vacation

Great location, close to Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. Our favorite beaches were both between 5-10 minute drive. Trips to the Flying Horses and Ben and Bills in Oak Buffs, a sunset picnic at the East Chop Lighthouse, lots of beach time and clamming in the lagoon just some of the things we did. The house was spacious, the kitchen had all we needed and more to create some great seafood dinners! Our host was great, very accomodating and quick to respond! Thanks Sam, for sharing your home w/us!

Exactly What We Needed

It a really cute house with exactly the amount of space for 6 women. Love that the house is so secluded, but we were just a short drive from where we needed to get to. Sam was a great host. Always quick to respond. This all played a factor in us having a wonderful vacation on our 1st time on the Island!

Edgartown Vaca

Sam’s place is an ideal location. The home is nestled into a very quiet, wooded lot. The driveway is spacious for vehicles and bikes. The home has great indoor and outdoor spacing to include a deck for dining & relaxing; yard for lawn games; and open floor plan. The home was clean with the exception of a few cobwebs, but I would rather a few cobwebs than other issues! Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless! Sam’s communication was top notch. He readily and thoroughly helped us with the ferry and a/c. Outside of the home. It is easy to get to towns, beaches, bird sanctuary, market, and biking/ walking trails. I highly recommend this VRBO.
