Nice atmosphere for rainy days..

We had a delightful stay, despite the rainy and stormy weather. The house was spacious and comfortable. Due to unforeseen family circumstances, it was only my husband, Summit, and I. We feel this lovely vacation home is perfect for families with children, but might not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. The location was well-organized. It's a beautiful place.

Father's Day Getaway

The house a 10, The area a 10, The cleanliness a 10 but as far as the description a 7 only because we were told the main floor bathroom had a walk in shower which it did not and being my father is blind and handicapped he could not use the shower and we had to take him to the state park for his showers.Kind of a bummer. But I would stay here again just without the folks. It is perfect for people without a handicap.

My favorite VRBO

I usually stay here in November for my son‘s birthday. And of course it’s always the start of the rainy season. This time we booked in May for my birthday and I came with some gal pals. Everyone loved the place as much as I do. It truly is my favorite place to stay. It has everything you need to cook decent meals in the kitchen as well. We love this place.

Lake view

We were hoping to fish but it poured down rain on "fishing day". It was okay because there are big windows to look out and enjoy the scenery - rain or shine.

Great time at Lake House

Beautiful view of lake from all the rooms. Nice quiet neighborhood. Kitchen had good supply of plates, bowls, utensils, cooking and baking pans. Close to beach and grocery store. Able to put kayaks in lake right from property.

Great weekend get away

Worked great for a weekend hang out spot with some adult friends. 5 minutes from golf coarse, casino and near by shopping.

Nice and quiet

Nice quiet location, at least during the off season. Biggest problem was heating the back bedroom and there should be at least one flashlight in case of emergency. Overall clean and sanitary however, the dust bunnies under the couch and in the corners were a bit much. We would stay there again.

Our annual trip

We stay every year at the coast for my sons birthday and this was our 2nd year here. It’s my grandson’s favorite place to stay at the beach and now wants to go in May for his birthday! Very comfortable stay!!

Beautiful Spot!

We will absolutely be back! The house was cute and had what we needed for a comfortable and fun stay. The kids loved playing in the large yard, fishing off the dock, and our dog LOVED swimming. Thank for a great stay!

Beautiful property. Could use some updates.

Beautiful property and clean. A relaxing stay with gorgeous views and fun in the water. Somethings needed updating or were broken upon arrival including a noisy bathroom fan, blinds, and two of four recliners. Contacted Meredith Lodging management about recliners upon arrival and they said maintenance would be over. They never arrived during two day stay. Nalso of note no basic pantry supplies beyond salt and pepper. So bring your own coffee, oil etc. Overall lovely stay, and impressed by view and cleaning crew not as much by Meredith Lodging maintaining the property.

Nice location

The home’s location was great. It looked updated - freshly painted and new flooring. However the windows looking out to the lake were filthy, the blinds were in poor condition, there was a screen missing in one upstairs bedroom which was unsafe, and the stairway lacked a handrail all down the steps. The kitchen lacked some usually supplied items in a vacation rental. The BBQ in the picture was a Webber kettle but actually was a very old rusty item and full of old used briquettes and ashes. The pictures showed a table & 4 chairs on the deck but there were only three chairs and 2 broken ones by the garbage cans. The deck gets full sun and an umbrella table would make it much more pleasant. All these things were disappointing. The beds & bathrooms were clean and it was vacuumed. We had a good time but the property could really use some work.

Almost a great property

Overall it's a decent property. But it could have been great. There were a lot of small little maintenance issues and a lot of small things that could very easily be upgraded in the home. The kitchen is well stocked but there's only one frying pan. All of the knives are incredibly dull. There's only three spoons in a house for 10 people. Little things like that that could have been so much better. But the home does have a beautiful view of the lake and a nice little dock with a boat house.

Mostly good

Stayed here with family and friends for 4 nights. Pros: The location and view are amazing. We loved having a dock and easy access to the lake! The house was relatively clean and well-stocked with most of what we needed. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and a nice big living area. Overall, we had a fabulous time. Cons: The only reason we might look to book somewhere else before staying here again was the lack of adequate seating on the deck. There were 4 plastic chairs that felt flimsy at best (and we would actually carry out the dining room chairs to sit on). With such a great view and nice deck, it would have been nice to be able to sit outside on a comfortable patio set to enjoy it. It had very few cleaning supplies for us to use (we had to purchase cleaning wipes to clean the bird crap off the patio table). Lastly, there was one couch that may have come from a home with cats. Several of us had allergic reactions (sneezing, itching, watery eyes) after sitting on it. As long as I didn't sit on it, I was fine.

Great house steep yard

We had a wonderful stay. Had plans of using the yard to play some games together but it is FAR too steep to utilize. The beds were very comfortable. The view is wonderful! My hope for the entire neighborhood is that the State puts an actual traffic light at the intersection for 101. That intersection would greatly benefit from a 4 way stop light.
