The Space:

Admire incredible sunset views at this inviting lakefront home in Otis, which features a private dock where you can tie up your personal watercraft. Here on the eastern shores of Devils Lake, you can dine and soak in the sunshine on the deck as you gaze out over the water, gather around the firepit on the stretch of lawn out back, and curl up by the fireplace for a relaxing night in front of the flatscreen cable TV.



What's nearby:

This home is located on the warm, sunny shores of Devils Lake, in a spot frequented by nesting bald eagles, beavers, and a variety of shore birds. You can bring your own boat to launch at Sand Point Park (three-quarters of a mile west) or rent a craft at Blue Heron Landing across the lake (three miles west). Access to the beach and the Pacific Ocean is available at Road's End State Recreation Site four miles west. In the same area, you'll find restaurants, grocery stores, and even a full gaming casino. The excellent Lincoln City Outlets also await only three miles south.

This is a really nice little home on Devils lk. Very nice views. Even though alot of our stay was typical march weather. If your not looking for a modern home but a nice quaint place to watch the day go by, this would be it. It was everything we needed for the weekend.Clean and warm once we turned up the thermostat.

Outside, great views of the lake. Negative was a dripping gutter that was full on the steps going to front door. Also, the front door lock code is the longest I have ever seen in my life (this should be 4 or 5 digits at most). Inside, linens were clean. Coffee pot had to be cleaned by us. The biggest negative inside is it has a musty old house smell and no door on the bedroom in the basement (a curtain). Not a big deal since we were there as a couple with no one else, otherwise, this could be a negative. They should also provide a sheet/book on things to do in the area, how to work the tv, etc. Vacasa was great with text messages.

Best lake house

I love this house with all of my heart. I wish I could live in it for the rest of my life. My husband will be coming back every March or April for our birthdays to spend here. I hope it never gets demolished. I also love how close it is to town and just the feel of the house. I can't wait to come back next year!

Fun in the sun!

Great accommodation on the lake! Private dock and house full of all the amenities you could imagine. The layout of the house was spacious and it’s very comfortable. Would stay there again.

Great Lake house

We loved the house, the location and the swimming access, but who doesn’t provide beach towels or swimming towels at a lake house? We loved that the kitchen was well stocked for cooking too.

Spending time with our adult children

The home was wonderful, everything was clean and ready to go. Will want to rent this home again. A couple concerns- the toilet in the lower bathroom leaked, and it was very difficult to see traffic when leaving the property.

Amazing View

Our family loved this property. The view from the house is just amazing. The kids loved fishing from the dock and jumping off for a swim. The house, while not new or recently remodeled, was very clean and comfortable. Space wise, it was great for 4 people but would have been cramped for any party larger. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we enjoyed our time at this property.

Getting information from the property manager was more difficult than it should have been. Access to the boat house would have been helpful to store lakeside toys etc..

the driveway is very narrow. hard to get out on main road. the lower half smelled damp and windows were painted shut. windows dirty and cover with spider webs and a few spider as was outside furniture. Beautiful view. Clean inside.

Perfect setting to relax

This property is in a perfect setting on Devils Lake. This house is in a classic split level style. It is very tastefully decorated and is comfortable. My son fished off of the boat house deck. The lake is pretty shallow for that. But he still enjoyed catching Walleye. There are kayaks but we could only find one canoe paddle. Kitchen and bathrooms are dated but there are functional. There are lots of birds. If you like birds, bring binoculars.

Delake is Delightful

If you love funky, midcentury design mixed with a window wall lake view to soothe your soul, Delake House is the place to go! My wife and I spent a week here in mid-November and fell in LOVE (with the house--we had the other part covered). The house is tucked away, private, quiet, and has everything you and your better half need to escape. Easy to access, close to Lincoln City, and just super cozy. Highly recommend. Big thanks to Vacasa for graciously managing our handful of requests, and to the Delake House owners (whoever you are) for your generosity in opening your home. 5 stars. :)

On the lake

Beautiful view and well set up to enjoy it from decks and inside bedroom and main rooms. We thought we were going to kayak and loved that we could put in right there at the home’s dock. We didn’t actually get into the water but I can tell you that the house is set up nicely for kayaking. We had gale force winds and a cold snap while there so ended up enjoying the view rather than being in it, which was fun in its own way. The kitchen is well appointed, with everything we wanted for cooking, the beds comfy, and the home stocked with games and puzzles. Perfect.
