Getaway week

Location and setup of property excellent. VRBO listing did not disclose major construction project to replace all windows but Property Manager emailed that info before $$ was collected. Project was somewhat disruptive. Elevator was out of service entire week. Fortunately we were on 2nd level up so no real issue. Loved the area

Beautiful Condo and Beach

This is absolutely the place to go! The condo is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The view is truly amazing. I highly recommend staying at this extra special condo on beautiful Siesta Key. You won't be disappointed!

Great Location, clean unit, awesome views!

We stayed in unit 105 for 10 days in February. The unit is very clean, well maintained and nicely furnished. The staff for the complex does a great job maintaining the property and the office personnel are very accommodating. We were made to feel welcome by the long term residents. The common area between the building and the beach is quite private due to it being set back from the water. There are a number of restaurants, a few shops and a small grocery store within walking distance of the complex. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Nice Place, Pretty Beach

The condo is nice with a great view of the pool and a bit of the beach. Has all the equipment you need to enjoy the beach, cook, laundry. The bed was not our favorite, very firm. The water in front of this condo is amazing...we saw manatee, dolphin, rays and tons of fish. I would critique Siesta Key beach...it smells bad from a lot of standing water, so it's difficult to enjoy walks on the beach for someone sensitive to smells (like myself). Obviously the condo has no control over the beach, just a warning to potential first timers to Siesta Key.

Awesome property and location

The two of us found this property to be very spacious and clean during our week-long stay. Pictures can sometimes be deceiving, but we were pleasantly surprised that that wasn't the case with this unit. In fact the pictures didn't do it justice. We felt a little guilty for not spending more time there, as the weather was superb the entire week we were there and spent most of it pool and beach side. Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the screened-in patio was very relaxing. The property is well kept and the office staff were very friendly and helpful. A great mix of families, vacationing couples, and retiree residents while we were there. We found it to be a very nice community. We walked the beach from end to end each day. It is easy to understand why this beach has been rated #1 in the country.

Checking out Siesta Key!

We wanted to check out Siesta Key as we have heard so much about it. A lovely beach town! We loved the location of Horizons West! Our condo was clean and cozy! The amenities such as dishes, glasses etc. we're so much better than other places we have stayed. The view was wonderful! We will be back!

Great view, comfy condo!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this first floor condo, nicely decorated, and equipped with all we needed to eat in when we wanted. The lanai is a wonderful spot to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. And we were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too hot to enjoy it in June. The beach at this condo specifically is one of the best along Siesta Key, what a great spot for a get-a-way!!

Wonderful condo in excellent location

We thoroughly enjoyed this condo. It's very well appointed, had everything we needed, and the location is perfect. We especially loved the lanai. Prior to our arrival, the owner provided us, via email, with good restaurant suggestions and was very helpful with other inquiries about the area. The Horizon West Property is very well maintained and has one of the better footprints on the beach. Easy walk to Siesta Key Village, approximately 30 minutes. We highly recommend this property!

Perfect spot on Siesta Key

We've been here twice now, and plan on coming back again. The location is perfect...easy to get to, super well maintained and close to restaurants. The condo is gorgeous and the kitchen has everything you need. We like to walk on the beach, hang out at the hot tub and watch the sunset over the Gulf. We also rent bikes every year and use it as a base to explore.

Great place to vacation and wonderful sunset views!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this condo in February. It was fully equipped and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the lanai and the outstanding views of the pool and gulf waters. Many evenings we would watch the sunset from this location and kept the images in our minds as we headed back to the snow and cold in the northeast! We hope to return next winter.
