The property was as advertised and it exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and charming. And, it was a shirt ride to Hyannis and our fishing charter.

Better than the photos

This house rocks! The backyard is so spacious and the house is even better than the photos. Plenty of parking, lots of great amenities provided that you don’t typically get with other stays. Loved this place!

Quaint cottage

We enjoyed our stay despite the bad weather. The house met our needs. The bed was comfortable as was the sitting area. We were not able to utilize the back yard and all it had to offer - but it is clearly a plus for this rental. I think it is a great place for a family.

The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. The back yard is out of a good house keeping magazine. It had everything we needed and more. Also had a liquor store in walking distance. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you for opening your home to my family and I.

Wedding week

My son was married at the Dennis Inn. We had to travel a bit between Dennis and Orleans. Set up was great…soon learned that everything is 5.4 miles away on the Cape, and always takes 20 minutes in the summer😀😳 Our dog was there, too. Great yard to run in!

Good location but difficult to find the property upon arrival,This place is charming but there are some drawbacks. Two bedrooms not really depicted well. One said it had a twin and a bunk (twin with double bed). There wasn’t a standalone twin bed—it was a trundle. For children this might be fine, but for adults, it was not a usable twin bed. The upstairs room that listed a twin bed, wasn’t even a room. It was a hallway area outside of the bathroom that was up against the slope/pitch of the ceiling so if you sat up too quickly, you would hit your head. In both of these rooms, there wasn’t any air-conditioning. We rented the entire house which consisted of the main house and an attached apartment. There wasn’t a way to get into the main part of the house from the apartment unless you went outside and entered through the back or main entrance of the house. It would have been nice to be able to get into the house from the apartment without having to go outside. With respect to the cleanliness of the house, the bathtub/shower areas of the main house both need to be addressed. There was some mold along the wall and the shower curtain liners were not very clean. The bathmat in the upstairs bathroom looked like it hadn’t been washed in many months and there were some cobwebs along the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. When we arrived at the house, there was laundry in both of the dryers.

Good spot

It suited our needs. Nice nearby shops and restaurants. Really great backyard for our dogs and comfortable bed. It was a difficult find but our hostess helped us out. Just be sure you communicate with the host before you leave. Other than that it was a good place to stay, clean, felt very welcome and comfortable.

This home had everything our family could have ever needed and more. We enjoyed the backyard with its beautiful propane fire pit and deck. It was minutes from beaches, shops and restaurants. Teegan was very quick to respond with any needs we had. It was truly an amazing Cape summer vacation!

Vrbo called it west Dennis. Actually in Dennis. Poor directions

Air conditioner noisy and smelling of smoke . Torn screen on one upstairs window that could open. Shower liner on tiny upstairs shower torn off half the holders. Downstairs toilet leaked from seal, keeping floor wet. Disappointing condition... over priced.

The house was super cute and close to everything from the beach, to restaurants. The host was so helpful and quick to respond both prior to and during our stay. The backyard area was so spacious and a great place to hang out when we were not at the beach. Highly recommend.

Not what we were expecting.

First off the house is difficult to find. The agent mentioned what to look for to find the house, but it still took four trips past the street in order to find the property. It is located behind a warehouse. The house does not stand alone, there are attached bungalows to the structure. Not planning on staying or recommending this property.

Gary I’m very sorry the house did not meet your expectations! In reviewing our conversation I saw that you messaged me saying you would be unable to make the trip and I passed along my contact information so your guests could still enjoy the house. I wanted to clarify for future travelers that the house is not behind a warehouse nor in an industrial area, there is a Village Market with a couple of shops in front of the house and the house’s driveway is nestled between two properties (our house is set back about 150 ft). The yard is behind the house and private, yet still close and walking distance to many attractions. While we mark the property with numbers on a telephone pole abutting the driveway, I have in the past had guests call and helped them find the house very quickly. I wish your guests had reached out as I would have been happy to help them locate it. The property does have an apartment on it which is described in the listing. The apartment has its own parking, yard, and the entrance is on the opposite side of the house. The only time you should see the apartment residents is when they are walking by the driveway. Lastly I wanted to let you know that I am the property owner, not an agent and we (my partner and I) truly care about our guests’ experiences and thus try to include as much information about the house as possible in the description and are forthcoming in answering questions. While a lesser presence on this platform, our house has over 80 five star reviews on the other platform we use, and hope that future guests will read the kind words or other guests have had to say about us.

Amazing location and house

We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire process from check in, to relaxing and to being able to walk too many different locations. Clean and very safe. Had an amazing fire in the fire pit. Would love to rent again! Tegan was awesome and very responsive. Thank you for letting us stay!

Nice, private rental

Great spot and host! The property was accurately described. Backyard is huge and included a BBQ and firepit. All bedrooms except for one had individual A/C units for comfort. The family and living room was more than enough space for the 8 of us to relax in. Driveway and location is a bit tricky but other than that, there was absolutely no issues at all. Walking distance to the liquor store, some shops, ice cream and an excellent breakfast spot. Big thanks to Tegan (and BF) for the massive amount of yard clean-up done after the violent storm to ensure our check-in time was not pushed back!

Hi there! I’m Tegan, and I was born and raised on Cape Cod. I work full time for a local town in addition to being a host :) I am so blessed to live in a summertime vacation land but I also enjoy traveling and experiencing different places! I am very responsive on the VRBO platform, if you have any questions please feel free to ask me.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Our house was built in 1815 and while it has undergone many renovations throughout the years, it maintains that historic charm. The farmhouse sink, built in cabinets, and wood paneling are some of the most beautiful details in our home. Please check out the pictures to see more of the Sun, Sand & Sea House :)

この宿泊施設の特徴

We are able to host midsized families and groups and have a large fully fenced in backyard (perfect for dogs!) to enjoy grilling and nights in at the house. We have a firepit available for use, and the grill is piped into the house's gas line so there is no need to bring propane. The house is close to many things to do in the area, while still being a private residence (the driveway is long, about 150 ft, so you are able to be in the thick of what's happening in West Dennis and still have a private space to enjoy).
