Great family vacation space

Property was wonderful! It was very clean and spacious with 4 bedrooms, each having their own bathroom. It was an 8 minute walk to beach as well as shuttle service available to take you and your family right to the resort amenities and beach. It’s very close to lots of restaurants, shops and grocery stores, yet the neighborhood makes you feel otherwise. We loved it! We would definitely book this property again!

Home was as advertised in a location great for our golf Group. Had a small issue with a lock that was taken care of ASAP. Much appreciated will use them again for our next getaway. Cheers

We enjoyed the house, everything it said it would be. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Only complaint would be the pools, they were not very clean.

Great spot- perfect vacation in N

We are so happy with our stay. The house was in a great location. The neighborhood / plantation is quiet and cute. The shuttle to the pool/beach was an amazing amenity. Access to the poolClub was a huge plus. Barefoot landing across the street was a great spot to walk around, shop, eat, play. The coffee/ice cream shop right by the plantation was perfect and well priced. The beach and pool were busy but we still were able to enjoy them despite the crowd. Having every bedroom have a bathroom is very convenient. The rooms were clean. Beds were not the most comfortable, but not bad. The home had pretty much everything we needed. Great big couch for everyone. There was more than enough space for the 9 of us (4 adults and 5 young children)We were very happy with our stay. We love the pool, shuttle, and the location. We hope to stay again.

Golf trip

House was very nice and in a good location. A small check in time window made us have to change some plans, an electronic door lock would make check in much easier. An inconvenience but overall we had a great stay.

The overall stay was fine. Beds/pillows were ok. The overall cleanliness of the place was not great, the tile floors all need to be hot mopped. The back patio could not be used, there is a thick sticky substance all over the tile, and bbq. BBQ hasn’t been cleaned. Some dishes and pots were put away with food stuck on them. The washer needs a good cleaning with hot water, there is laundry soap dried in the dispenser. Some outlets don’t work in upstairs bedrooms. The exhaust fan in master bathroom doesn’t work. Some of the furniture, specifically the entrance table is broken and unstable. For the money, it would have been a great place to stay but you really need to clean it up.

Nice house in a great location

North Beach Plantation is always a lovely stay because of the convenient amenities, location and safety of the property. The property manager responded very quickly to any issues we found. Unfortunately, not all renters report issues to be addressed prior to arrival of future renters. Kitchen was well stocked. The house and furnishings were in very good condition. The house does not have smart TV’s and I do feel a property of this quality should have smart TV’s. I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

My small group of friends had a great time here, we do wish it was a little cleaner.

The house was perfect for my groups’ needs. There was everything we needed. We do wish it was a little cleaner (dusty, dirty curtains, stained sheets). But overall it was a great house, in a great location! We loved how there were so many bathrooms!

Nice House

Stayed here with friends for a golf outing. The neighborhood was very nice and in a great location, close to restaurants and golf courses. The house was spacious. The carpets need cleaning or replacing, and the beds were not the most comfortable. Otherwise a great place.

Thanksgiving Vacation

Let me first say, the process of checking in was the smoothest process I’ve had! The lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing, kind and knowledgeable. We received an email during our stay to check in us and if we needed anything who the point of contact was. Next, the house was beautiful and enough space to accommodate my family of 13. Every room had its own bathroom which was a plus! My family and I were very pleased with our visit. The house was well stocked with towels and toiletries. We will book with this property again. Exceptional service and beautiful home!

4th time at North Beach Plantation

The stay was great. The house wqs spacious, with more rooom than expected. It was so nice to be able to grill every night. The house was clean, but not spotless. The cable, Spectrum, was terrible. It would loose connection often and it was quite a process to reboot. Overall, the property was great and i would stay again.

Family Vacation

We met here as a family from multiple states. We've visited North Beach many times and love it here. The owners were accommodating but the property does need some repairs. Many items were broken including the kitchen faucet, AC, refrigerator, speaker on living room tv, and master sink clogged. We were thankful for the owners understanding, reimbursement of some our payment and dinner for our party of 12 at the Pirate Voyage. We do love North Beach plantation and will have another family vacation here in the future.

Nice house but lacked cleanliness

Had to take out trash, wash sheets amd clean grill from prior guests. Called maintenance and he asked me to put trash out to curb and air out garage by leaving it open. Carpet was dirtyy, bedroom sheets we had to wash had yellow stains and one pillow had orange stains.

620 Olde Mill, North Mrytle Beach

Cleaning of property was poor. Bathrooms were dirty, in 1 toilet was leaking. Carpet on steps hadn't been cleaned and had stains all on it. Ceiling fan and vents was dirty. We went to open blinds and big flying bugs came from behind blinds. We had to wash sheets, blankets and towels before we even went to sleep the 1st night. I have pictures of everything that we noticed wrong with place.

Location is great

This property has the potential to be great but has some flaws - I am glad we booked a last minute deal because there is no Way I would pay any more for this house. The bathroom in kids room was labeled cleaned but the toilet seat was soiled. I had to change my sons sheets & after remaking the bed I found mini liquor bottles under the mattress. If the bed had been properly stripped & cleaned after previous guests those bottles would have been found. The garage has cockroaches. The WiFi is terrible. Most likely due to the outdoor cabinet it is kept in & the amount of heat inside this cabinet. You can’t use the soaking tub in the master bath.

Place is run down and in need up upkeep/cleaning

Some of the issues in the prior review still remained prior to labor day. Garage door opener was broken, Livingroom TV was making an awful noise (Speaker issue) Hoping they have all been corrected but overall the place was very dirty, Walls, Counters, Tables, Furniture and Floor all seemed untouched by the cleaning that should have occurred prior to our 4pm check in. The grill was overflowing with grease and had spilled in/on the tank and floor in the garage. We spent a few hours cleaning upon arrival and notified the manager via email and was told to text maintenance. Palmetto bugs in garage, bathrooms, living room and kitchen each morning. Great Location but in need of attention.

Disgusting

There were blood spots on bedspread and blanket had semen on it so I had to do all laundry/cleaning on my first night and morning there. The kitchen cabinets were literally dripping with grease, there were dirty dishes in cabinet, a bat nest in alcove under upstairs window causing us to run in to place at night. I did take pictures. Master bathtub "out of order". Rugs are filthy. Parking is very difficult at main pool/beach area. I have reached out to VRBO and they simply told me I should have called and reported issues. It was late evening/night when issues were noted. After 14 hours on the road we were not about to spend all night with strangers in the premises cleaning up the filth especially with exhausted little children present and COVID concerns. I shall be requesting a reimbursement for cleaning charges as I performed most of it!!!

We loved the home, the rooms and open spaces were great for group gatherings as well as quiet time! We were there with our 6 kids and everyone was comfortable! The house had all of the basics we needed!
