Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the property, community, and found plenty to do in the area despite the weather. Regarding the ticket booking, our confirmation email—sent immediately after booking—includes step-by-step instructions, a direct link, and the reservation ID required for each guest. This process is typically very straightforward, and we’re always happy to assist if questions come up. We appreciate you reporting the leak during your stay. While unexpected maintenance issues can occur, our team responded promptly and worked to address it as quickly as possible. As for the additional items mentioned, we did not receive any communication about these concerns during your stay. Our team is readily available via the same contact number you were already using, and we would have been happy to quickly resolve or replace items (such as the coffee maker) had we been notified. We appreciate your feedback and will review the items noted with our team.

Great family vacation space

Property was wonderful! It was very clean and spacious with 4 bedrooms, each having their own bathroom. It was an 8 minute walk to beach as well as shuttle service available to take you and your family right to the resort amenities and beach. It’s very close to lots of restaurants, shops and grocery stores, yet the neighborhood makes you feel otherwise. We loved it! We would definitely book this property again!

Thanksgiving Vacation

Let me first say, the process of checking in was the smoothest process I’ve had! The lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing, kind and knowledgeable. We received an email during our stay to check in us and if we needed anything who the point of contact was. Next, the house was beautiful and enough space to accommodate my family of 13. Every room had its own bathroom which was a plus! My family and I were very pleased with our visit. The house was well stocked with towels and toiletries. We will book with this property again. Exceptional service and beautiful home!

4th time at North Beach Plantation

The stay was great. The house wqs spacious, with more rooom than expected. It was so nice to be able to grill every night. The house was clean, but not spotless. The cable, Spectrum, was terrible. It would loose connection often and it was quite a process to reboot. Overall, the property was great and i would stay again.

Nice house in a great location

North Beach Plantation is always a lovely stay because of the convenient amenities, location and safety of the property. The property manager responded very quickly to any issues we found. Unfortunately, not all renters report issues to be addressed prior to arrival of future renters. Kitchen was well stocked. The house and furnishings were in very good condition. The house does not have smart TV’s and I do feel a property of this quality should have smart TV’s. I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

Family Vacation

We met here as a family from multiple states. We've visited North Beach many times and love it here. The owners were accommodating but the property does need some repairs. Many items were broken including the kitchen faucet, AC, refrigerator, speaker on living room tv, and master sink clogged. We were thankful for the owners understanding, reimbursement of some our payment and dinner for our party of 12 at the Pirate Voyage. We do love North Beach plantation and will have another family vacation here in the future.

Great spot- perfect vacation in N

We are so happy with our stay. The house was in a great location. The neighborhood / plantation is quiet and cute. The shuttle to the pool/beach was an amazing amenity. Access to the poolClub was a huge plus. Barefoot landing across the street was a great spot to walk around, shop, eat, play. The coffee/ice cream shop right by the plantation was perfect and well priced. The beach and pool were busy but we still were able to enjoy them despite the crowd. Having every bedroom have a bathroom is very convenient. The rooms were clean. Beds were not the most comfortable, but not bad. The home had pretty much everything we needed. Great big couch for everyone. There was more than enough space for the 9 of us (4 adults and 5 young children)We were very happy with our stay. We love the pool, shuttle, and the location. We hope to stay again.

Nice house but lacked cleanliness

Had to take out trash, wash sheets amd clean grill from prior guests. Called maintenance and he asked me to put trash out to curb and air out garage by leaving it open. Carpet was dirtyy, bedroom sheets we had to wash had yellow stains and one pillow had orange stains.

I pulled our maintenance team’s text records (which is the way that we tell guests they must report issues), and you only reported to them the previous guests left trash in the garage. We again apologize that that happened, but we wish that you would have reported to them about any other issues so that they could also have assisted. We are sure to note in the check-in instructions that all guests are responsible for cleaning the grills. We’re very sorry that the previous guess were obviously very disrespectful to the home which negatively affected your stay.

Cleaning of property was poor. Bathrooms were dirty, in 1 toilet was leaking. Carpet on steps hadn't been cleaned and had stains all on it. Ceiling fan and vents was dirty. We went to open blinds and big flying bugs came from behind blinds. We had to wash sheets, blankets and towels before we even went to sleep the 1st night. I have pictures of everything that we noticed wrong with place.

We again apologize for any issues encountered during your stay. We deeply value each guest's comfort and satisfaction, and we're genuinely sorry that your experience fell short of your expectations. We always aim to address any concerns promptly and make amends whenever possible. We’re glad our team responded and assisted once they were notified of any issues. As one can reasonably understand, it’s impossible to do a deep clean on units that are booked back to back. That is why those are always scheduled in the off-season. Our intention is to create a positive environment for every guest, and we have already spoken to the external cleaning company so that they can absolutely improve their services.

The overall stay was fine. Beds/pillows were ok. The overall cleanliness of the place was not great, the tile floors all need to be hot mopped. The back patio could not be used, there is a thick sticky substance all over the tile, and bbq. BBQ hasn’t been cleaned. Some dishes and pots were put away with food stuck on them. The washer needs a good cleaning with hot water, there is laundry soap dried in the dispenser. Some outlets don’t work in upstairs bedrooms. The exhaust fan in master bathroom doesn’t work. Some of the furniture, specifically the entrance table is broken and unstable. For the money, it would have been a great place to stay but you really need to clean it up.

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall, though we’re disappointed to read this after checkout since none of these items were ever reported while you were here. Had we been notified, our team would have sent housekeeping or maintenance over immediately — we’re local and always happy to help. Our cleaners do a great job, but they’re human and can occasionally miss something. That’s why we ask guests to reach out right away if they notice anything that needs extra attention — we can’t fix what we don’t know about. We’ll recheck the items you mentioned to make sure everything is in top shape for future guests.

Location is great

This property has the potential to be great but has some flaws - I am glad we booked a last minute deal because there is no Way I would pay any more for this house. The bathroom in kids room was labeled cleaned but the toilet seat was soiled. I had to change my sons sheets & after remaking the bed I found mini liquor bottles under the mattress. If the bed had been properly stripped & cleaned after previous guests those bottles would have been found. The garage has cockroaches. The WiFi is terrible. Most likely due to the outdoor cabinet it is kept in & the amount of heat inside this cabinet. You can’t use the soaking tub in the master bath.

We're very sorry if you encountered issues, but we're extremely disappointed that this is the first we're hearing that you encountered any problems. A simple text to our maintenance team would have resolved all issues quickly for you, including cleaning and anything to do with the Wi-Fi, while you were out enjoying your vacation. We encourage all renters to reach out immediately if we can assist them in any way, per the Welcome Note we provide in the home as well as on a sticker on the check-in packet, so that we can ensure everyone has a 5 star stay. In addition, we clearly note in the description that the bathtub in the master is not available for use. Having said all of that, as evidenced by all of the other reviews, this is a great house that is well loved.

Place is run down and in need up upkeep/cleaning

Some of the issues in the prior review still remained prior to labor day. Garage door opener was broken, Livingroom TV was making an awful noise (Speaker issue) Hoping they have all been corrected but overall the place was very dirty, Walls, Counters, Tables, Furniture and Floor all seemed untouched by the cleaning that should have occurred prior to our 4pm check in. The grill was overflowing with grease and had spilled in/on the tank and floor in the garage. We spent a few hours cleaning upon arrival and notified the manager via email and was told to text maintenance. Palmetto bugs in garage, bathrooms, living room and kitchen each morning. Great Location but in need of attention.

We are sorry to hear that there may have been challenges with your stay. We wish we would have been contacted during your trip, as many of these items are easy fixes. We strive to deliver a 5-star experience and wish we'd been given the opportunity to address the cleaning issues during your stay, rather than find out about them after the fact in a review. Regarding the palmetto bugs, those are going to happen when we have had as much rain as we’ve experienced in the past several weeks. This home is on a preventative pest maintenance program, and that still can’t always stop them. That said, this home, along with all of the other properties we manage, is scheduled for a deep clean and refresh since the season is coming to an end. As one can reasonably imagine, it’s impossible to do that during the summer between back to back bookings.

Disgusting

There were blood spots on bedspread and blanket had semen on it so I had to do all laundry/cleaning on my first night and morning there. The kitchen cabinets were literally dripping with grease, there were dirty dishes in cabinet, a bat nest in alcove under upstairs window causing us to run in to place at night. I did take pictures. Master bathtub "out of order". Rugs are filthy. Parking is very difficult at main pool/beach area. I have reached out to VRBO and they simply told me I should have called and reported issues. It was late evening/night when issues were noted. After 14 hours on the road we were not about to spend all night with strangers in the premises cleaning up the filth especially with exhausted little children present and COVID concerns. I shall be requesting a reimbursement for cleaning charges as I performed most of it!!!

We have to say we are VERY confused by this review. After pulling our phone/text records, this guest only reported that the outside trashcan was full and they needed assistance with that. We feel confident that if these major issues existed, we would have absolutely been contacted about them as these guests clearly had our contact info (which is exactly why Vrbo said the same thing). We overshare our info so that guests know they can reach us anytime as the last thing we want any guest to do is clean upon arrival. Regarding parking at the pool area, we make it very clear in the check in information we provide that only guests who rent an oceanfront condo in the towers are allowed to park there. This is because parking is limited but this is also why a resort shuttle is provided at no cost. Having said all of this, we want to again reiterate that guests should always reach out to us, no matter the time, if they encounter any issue at all so that we can help.
