I was looking forward to staying in a furnished studio apartment with a kitchen so that I could cook a couple of meals a day. Unfortunately, the refrigerator was malfunctioning and froze all of my food. My eggs cracked as they were frozen solid, my milk and cream were frozen, solid, and my fruit and vegetables were all spoiled. I contacted BCA, but the only response I got was that somebody came into the unit (without contacting me first) and unplugged and plugged the fridge back in again, and wasn't sure how to fix the issue. They never responded to my request for compensation for my frozen food, and never remedied the issue. This was disappointing.
