Very nice home with great views of the water. Very clean and newly renovated downstairs, including a new kitchen and appliances. The management company was very responsive and helpful.The pool is heated so our grandkids were able to come over and visit play in the pool. They had a blast!

My sisters and I aged 80, 75, 73 years young. Young all enjoyed salty sunrise. It was in a great area close to the beach and close to other activities. The house was very clean when we got there. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything that you could need and us three bedrooms. Excuse me, four bedrooms and three full baths. The house had a great view and back, the pool was delightful and heated, and we saw natural wildlife everyday. Herons, and dolphins were a constant site. The only problem I had,( I was the 80-year-old) is that I stayed upstairs, the stairs were a bit narrow steep, but that was stated in the description of the house. However I was amazed that the bath/spa did not have a safety bar to hold on to to get into the shower. I was constantly afraid of falling. Other than that, we would definitely come back to Indian Rocks Beach. It was a beautiful area.

We enjoyed the heated pool. Saw the dolphins every morning at 9:30. We cooked in 2 nights the kitchen was well stocked.

The property was in a great area. It could use some updating like new mattresses. We were called 2 times to let different companies in the house and had internet issues.

Great experience!

Our stay at Salty Sunrise was great! We arrived had a small issue to report as not to be charged for a broken chair and the team responded immediately and fixed the issue. We enjoyed the pool daily as well as the dock and seeing the dolphins, fish and many different birds.

We were so pleased with our stay. The property was in a great location that allowed us to get over to the beach fairly easily. We rented a six person golf cart and were at the beach in 3-4 minutes. While at the property, we enjoyed fishing off the dock and swimming in the pool. Everything was clean, kitchen is big and bright, and all rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. We ran out of propane one night right before we were about to grill but we were able to pivot to kitchen and the management team had new propane for us the next day!

Beautiful waterfront property with abundant wild bird watching.Pool was fantastic, slight issue with air conditioning cooling all rooms.Short walk to the beach made this an excellent location

Great place! All the reviews are spot on. We did see dolphins from the back yard. Indian rocks beach is the perfect small town close to everything fun without a long drive. One thing I will say is if you have someone with mobility issues and you plan to have them stay in the bottom bedroom the bed is super high and a walker does not fit in the downstairs bathroom. This house isn’t listed as handicapped accessible for a reason. That was totally my fault. Just don’t want someone else to assume what I did. This is a must stay place for able bodied people!!!

Graduation/Family Fun!

This home was true to its listing and did not disappoint! We had 4 kids ages 17-20 who love to fish and the dock was absolutely perfect. They caught a variety of species. The adults were able to sit back and enjoy the quiet atmosphere and watch the dolphins, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We ventured to the beach for more fishing and sun bathing and back to the house for more relaxing poolside. We brought along our jet skis and accessed the inner coastal waterway via the public ramp nearby and rode to a sandbar a couple days as well. The ample driveway parking was a bonus as well as the garage space for storage of gear. The upstairs master bedroom will get a bit warm during the day so it’s a must to keep the bedroom door open to draw the cooler air from downstairs upwards. The host(s) were very responsive to anything we needed or any questions we had. Overall, the home was a great place for our graduation family vacation and we would recommend it for to those considering it as an option!

Awesome Property

The home was amazing. We had a family of eight and there was plenty of room. Very clean and a great location. We made some wonderful memories catching fish from the private dock. The pool was awesome, large, and very warm. We would definitely stay hiere again. Thank you for a great experience.

Amazing View of Waterway

We stayed here with our two young adult daughters and my in-laws. House was perfect size for us all, and the view from the dock was the perfect spot for your morning coffee or an evening drink. We enjoyed our stay!

Very nice!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious and clean. Plenty of room for my husband and I, my mother & father in law and our daughter, with a bedroom to spare. Quiet neighborhood with a private dock which we enjoyed a glass of wine in evenings. The pool was clean and refreshing. The only negatives I could say would be the downstairs bedroom was warm at night (the box fan helped) and there were no functional pool floats other than infant ones. We would stay here again!

Great location, horrible property

If taken proper care of this house would have been great. Our last night there, we had a huge mouse in our blanket on the couch. There was food left under the beds, the gas grill is unusable due to never being cleaned. Definitely a fire hazard. The ac was not keeping up with the Florida weather. Upon check in the heat was on upstairs and was 86 degrees.?beds are horribly worn. No extra linens for the beds. Plenty of plates and glasses. Cookware was lacking to where we had to go buy a pan. Ice maker on fridge leaked. Tripping hazard with loose tiles. Skid tape on stairs was coming up. Pool pump wasn’t working until the pool man came and had to shock it. Lost a day of pool use. Wi-Fi was continuing to go in and out even upon resetting the router. Patio furniture was shabby and broken. There was a collection of junk on the side of the house. Baby wipes were left out by the pool….used. It was unhygienic in the worst ways. For the amount for the week for booking look elsewhere.

DO NOT STAY

Other than the beautiful view out back, I would never recommend this property to anyone. Huge mice and water bug problems. Multiple rodent sightings and foul odor in the kitchen. Mice ate through our dried goods on the counter overnight. Found a mouse trap that had two mice caught and maggots covering it. Multiple soft spots in the wood flooring upstairs. The upstairs and the lower floor bedroom is overly hot. The grill outside was disgusting.

Family vacation

Our family had a great stay in this beautiful home. We especially loved fishing off the dock and swimming in the pool. One of the kids left a special item behind which was quickly found and is on the way back to us. Over the top service! Thank you!! Would definitely stay here again!

I was very satisfied with the property. I thought the 4:00pm check in was too late and the non negotiable late checkout option without paying for an extra day was ridiculous. I probably wouldn’t book again with this company for those two reasons. I will negotiate that before booking next time. The house was clean all the appliances worked and it was a very quiet neighborhood.

Not a good experience

The owner knew the pool heater was not working since October per his maintenance staff I was notified a few days prior to our arrival -the pool was unusable it was too cold to go into- the sun does not hit the back of the house after 12:00 noon- the house is at the end of the street and is NOT a short walk to beach- no beach wagon as described in listing, no recycle bin so all our recycling had to go into regular garbage, staircase to upstairs bedrooms is steep and narrow not safe for elderly or kids- this should have been explained in the description, the pots and pans are in sad shape- various a numerous issues with this home-my request's for assistance was not handled well or just ignored I have never been so dissatisfied and disappointed with a VRBO- this was a VERY expensive lesson learned, I would NOT recommend this place.

Fantastic trip

We really enjoyed the home. The views of the inter coastal were perfect. The home was large enough for 8 adults. We were able to rent a couple golf carts which really helped getting around town. The beach equipment was very helpful. It has two refrigerators made it great with so many adults. Less trips to the store. The grill helped out a lot and we had plenty of gas for it on sight. There was plenty of kitchen necessities and a lot of towels etc. The washer and dryer was great to have on sight also. It is .5 mile walk to the beach in a quite neighbor. There’s 2 Publix grocery stores and a small Walmart within 5 miles. A lot of restaurants and some small stores close by. The stairs are a bit steep if someone in your party struggles with stairs. All the neighbors were very friendly The pool heater had been broke for two weeks so we didn’t get to swim so that was disappointing. The owner did give of some compensation for this. The internal part of grill needs cleaned but grills were clean. The back fence could be more sound. Certain areas of house could use some repair The owner has a Jeep in the garage -so if you have allergies to rubber know the smell is strong. Overall the house was great and we would definitely stay here again!!!!

Dolphins Galore!

This house was amazing! Coffee on the dock at sunrise with Dolphins swimming by ALL DAY LONG! The traffic on the intercoastal was minimal, so it was so quiet and very peaceful. The beds were so comfortable! The best nights' sleep! Location is perfect! Close to everything you want to do. The only negative is that they could use a little more serving dishes in the kitchen. But, on vacation making a big salad in a cooking pot isn't what's important. It's quality time with family. A bonus was that we were able to have our dogs with us, which made all the difference having the WHOLE FAMILY TOGETHER.

Absolutely fabulous home in a perfect location. 2 families of 4 stayed here comfortably for a week. It was amazing and would highly recommend. Looking out over the bay and seeing dolphins every morning is amazing. The pool is a great size and heated! Everything we needed was right there. The food in the area is spot on. We rented golf carts and traveled from Madeira Beach to Clearwater easily. All the pool and beach toys we needed were in the garage along with chairs and umbrellas. The seating area out by the pool was very comfortable and many hours were spent relaxing in the sun and the shade there. The 2 Adirondack chairs on the dock were a great touch and we didn't even have to sit quietly for the dolphins to literally swim up right to the dock! Incredible experience for the kids (and adults)! A couple things to note about this property: There are tons of signs on the street that the locals are against short term rentals. We tried to keep sound at a minimum. The upstairs master is wonderful but does get very hot and stuffy especially on a hot day so you may want an additional fan going. The maintenance man was coming when we left to fix the master faucets (they worked but needed a little help) The beautiful bedroom (king size bed overlooking water) is perfect downstairs but just know that the bathroom is.mot connected (you have to walk across the living room to get to it) and it is also the only bathroom downstairs for everyone to use while at the pool etc. This room also gets stuffy but has a box fan and a ceiling fan in the room to help. Depending on the size of your party and who is taking showers- you will need to space them out as there not an on demand hot water heater. Not a deal breaker- just plan ahead. You can't be in the shower upstairs and expect to get hot water if someone is also in the shower downstairs.

Salty Sunrise

Nice property. It was the right fit for our family. The beach was a little hike if you have small children and hauling the gear you need to bring. There was public beach parking at the end of street. However, we spent most of our time in the pool. Kids loved the pool and private dock to fish from.
