Glad you enjoyed your stay, the trek to the beach seems further away when its 95 degrees out, ugh.

We appreciate the opportunity to provide some context regarding this review. The air-conditioning issue was first reported to us at approximately 6:00 a.m. We immediately contacted an HVAC technician, and the system was repaired and cooling properly by late morning—within just a few hours of receiving notice. The temperature did not exceed 77 degrees. We believe this was a prompt and appropriate response, particularly during the Florida summer. The rental agreement referenced in the review is a standard part of our reservation process and is designed to establish the terms of occupancy and responsibility for damages and is noted in the listing before booked. The pool is not covered and was difficult to maintain due to a tropical depression bringing severe weather throughout the stay. We were not made aware of any roof leaks. After departure we did not find any signs of leakage. The other items mentioned were matters that we would have been happy to address had they been brought to our attention during the stay. We work hard to maintain our vacation homes and respond quickly when guests contact us with a problem. In this instance, the primary issue reported to us during the stay—the air conditioning—was addressed and repaired within hours of notification. We believe that response better reflects the level of service we provide than the characterization presented in this review.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are pleased to hear that you loved Indian Rocks Beach and enjoyed the design of the house and swimming pool. Regarding the living room furniture, we appreciate your honesty. We have new furniture arriving at the beginning of Sept. The home has regular pest control service and sorry for the unwelcome encounter of the palmetto bug (not a roach), being in Florida an occasional palmetto bug may sneak in if a door is open. We strive to provide the best value for our guests and to ensure our future guests have the best stay possible.

We were disappointed that many of these issues were not brought to our attention. Our office is close by and we take pride in addressing our guests’ needs. The pool was set to 86 degrees. A cold front that came through during the guest’s stay may have slowed the warming. We inspected the showers and the hot water is working in each bathroom shower. Not sure why the guest was not able to get the hot water to work. The water pressure in the sinks are intentionally low flow by design for conservation. The sliding glass doors use a security bar. We did find 2 plates that had small chips and they have been removed. The TV issue was an update that Spectrum corrected remotely on the first day it was brought to our attention. We appreciate and welcome the feedback.
