Giving a very objective review of this property as a business owner who has seen the good and bad and as someone who tries to stick to the facts. The property is in a great location and the house is generally beautiful. Plenty of space, comfy beds, and very clean inside. The beef I have is that the heated pool was not able to be heated due to a broken control board. The result was a freezing pool and no hot tub as they are all interconnected. The whole reason we chose this property over other contenders for our March vacation was for the heated on property pool. The management company said only the owner can offer any concessions for that issue. The owner, his name is Jimmy, called and took the position of “there really isnt anything we can do about that other than give the the heating fee back.” The heating fee being returned is to be expected. He was 100% unwilling to offer up anything else, though, despite the fact that a significant reason we rented this house was unavailable to us at no fault of our own. VERY poor business ethic to say the least - and he doubled down on that in the way he spoke to me and flat out denied the need to take responsibility for his problem. I would not do business with this slum lord.

We’re glad to hear you found the home clean, comfortable, and in a great location. However, your review contains a key inaccuracy. You were charged for pool heat initially, but that fee was refunded immediately once the issue with the control board was identified. You did not pay for pool heat. The equipment failure was unexpected and outside of our control, but we responded promptly, communicated directly with you, and ensured you were not charged for an amenity that was temporarily unavailable. Expecting additional compensation beyond not being charged for the service in the first place is not aligned with standard practices. We handled the situation fairly and with consideration, and we stand by that.

As nice, or nicer, than photos. This was our first visit to area and found this to be a great location for all things Watercolor and Seaside. Especially with the golf cart.Code access and parking is in back. And the pool alarm on the back door is tricky- but I think that is a Florida thing.

Great stay at Mint Julep

Wow, we loved our stay at this property. Very well appointed, great floorplan, fantastic outdoor area with hot tub and pool, and convenient location near all Watercolor amenities and services. Really appreciate the communication with property management, they were very helpful and responsive in resolving an issue with the golf cart. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Girls Weekend

We had a great stay at the property and loved having access to all of the Watercolor amenities. The hot tub didn’t get hot, just stayed the same temperature as the heated pool, but still enjoyable!
