Absolutely lovely apartment. It had everything we needed and more. Great location, plenty of room, a great place to use as a base to explore the city and also a comfortable place to relax after all the exploring. Excellent communication with the host. Clear instructions for entry and he sent multiple messages just to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying here for over a week. The apartment was clean, spacious, and in an excellent location. We wanted to be away from the Royal Mile knowing it’d be chaos because of Fringe, but still close enough to walk to most destinations, which we were able to do. Across the street is Bonnie Barista (amazing coffee) and beside is the Spanish Butcher (the best steak we’ve ever had), both of which we highly enjoyed and recommend. Make sure to take advantage of the private park across the street. It’s a perfect place for a quiet picnic and book read, away from the city crowds. The host, William, was very patient with all of my questions and was super helpful. If I could move here, I would in an instant! It’s a perfect apartment in a perfect location (though Queen Street has traffic at all hours and may disturb light sleepers) in a perfect city. We fell in love with Edi and can’t wait to come back and hopefully stay at 60 North Castle!

Wonderful location

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this flat. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and instructions on checking in and out we're straightforward. A description of the neighbourhood and available grocery stores was appreciated. A pleasant stay.

Very comfortable and convenient apartment

For family had a great stay! It’s a well appointed apartment with comfortable, though firm, beds. The location can’t be beat. Whether getting a perfect haircut at the barber downstairs (the Changing Room), a delicious meal at the Spanish Butcher, Oxford Bar around the corner, or coffee from across the street, we barely had to leave the block! We will be back :)

FANTASTIC place to stay in Edinburgh!

From start to finish, William was incredibly thoughtful and helpful with all communication. The apartment exceeded our expectations in all aspects - keys to the Garden was a bonus! Excellent location to see all that Edinburgh has to offer. Highly recommend. I hope to visit again soon.

Perfect stay

My family enjoyed staying at the apartment very much. So much charm with modern amenities. It was super comfortable for five of us. The kitchen had everything a cook needs. The location was superb, so close to everything. Lots of pubs and restaurants to chose from in the area. Communication with the owner was clear and easy. Highly recommend! We loved staying here and will gladly book again!

Perfect Edinburgh Location!

William has a wonderful flat in the most perfect location!! Outside the front door you have views to Edinburgh Castle and we were able to walk everywhere during our stay we walked to The Castle, George Street, Princess Street/Gardens, Dishoom and St James Wuarter. It is so central. Plus the kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed making breakfast each morning plus got provisions at farm shop for dinner one night. Would highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic location

We were able to easily walk to the Royal Mile and many other places including Murrayfield Stadium. There are pubs and dining on the same block. Apartment is spacious and well equipped. We appreciated the individual bath products. Owners responsive and helpful. Bedding crips and clean, mattresses firm.

Fringe Stay

There were 4 of us. 1 couple and 2 friends. There were 3 bedrooms so that worked out perfect. There were some minor issues,the owner was wonderful, very responsive. The location was great, not too far away from the events but far enough that we weren’t hearing all the goings on. Would recommend!

A fabulous stay

What a sensational find right in the heart of the Shambles area of York - I couldn't recommend the property more highly. The stairs might be a bit of trouble to those with lots of luggage but we each helped each other both up & down but the stay was well & truly worth it particularly to experience a period home with every mod con you could wish for. 11 out of 10

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh

Roomy flat with a great kitchen, washer and dryer. Very close to restaurants and stores, including grocery stores. Very walkable city. Close to trains station, tram and bus stops. Uber is easy to use. A block or two away from the crowds.

A excellent stay in Edinburgh!

This property was perfect for our visit to Edinburgh! The apartment was very comfortable and the location could not have been better. We were able to walk easily to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and Arthur's Seat. The host was very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. We very much enjoyed our time here!

The apartment is in a great location. It’s an easy walk to Old Town and in a nice neighborhood with good amenities and restaurants. Spacious for Edinburgh! The beds are very hard.

Posh Lodging near Princess Street

We had a most wonderful stay at William's flat! The kitchen is fantastic, well-stocked, and the perfect place for reminiscing about the day's adventures. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed, and the bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Most importantly, our host, William, was a huge help with numerous questions and was gracious in granting us a late check-out due to travel constraints. Highly recommended all around!
