It was an incredible place my kids had a blast with all the haves and the hot tub on the lake and playing at the lake connecting with the birds! Perfect location beautiful place thank u!

Great getaway perfect for a puzzle on a rainy day.

We really enjoyed a winter stay in this cabin and will look forward to booking a summer stay!!! They were really sweet and the check in process was way easy!

Cute cabin!

Love the location! Right by the lake and the cabin is so cute. We enjoyed the stay so much. Only feedback is no instructions on app for heater, and extra blankets had human hair on them. Overall, would stay again!

Quaint house …

We enjoyed the “hideaway.” We went in late June. We recommended that they replace the 2 floor fans in the living room. Both were not working, but we will return again. Great view of the lake.

Nice little getaway from the City

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a few days away from Los Angeles and stayed at this really cute log cabin. The location was amazing, so close to the lake and lots of fresh snow to play in. The cottage itself was nice and open with a really nice wrap around porch. The stay was comfortable and had a nice stocked kitchen to cook in. I put a four stars due to the place not being as kept up and clean as we were expecting. A few odds and ends like maintenance repair pieces (outlet fixtures, screws, etc) were out laying in the bathroom. Place looks like it needed a little more attention to cleaning and organizing. Besides that we had a really nice weekend away from the city.

It is a little warm in the day and it was cold in the evening. Cabin really did not need AC. Managment company was super helpful his name is Ken if I Rember correctly and was always available and easy to talk with. I would rent again.Shelby

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was described by the management company as rustic. It’s more old and tired. There were knobs missing off kitchen drawers, the quarter round on the bottom of the cabinets was not attached. The online pictures are deceiving. We contacted management by email our first night about using the tv and they responded immediately. The next morning we sent another email requesting assistance and never received any response.

Do not rent: Pathetic rental agency, dangerous & risky cabins

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: DO NOT RENT THESE CABINS: I had reservation from at Lakefront Hideaway Cabin [39326, Aurora Road, Big Bear lake, CA]. This cabin had snow+ice on the driveway, stairs, patio, chairs, tabes, pathway everywhere - atleast a 12-15 inches snow which was not ploughed since the last snow in the area. Despite calling them thrice between and explaining our situation, we were just denied by RENA (picked up our call twice), quoting there's nothing to be done and the snow was ploughed out without even seeing the situation; and that someone would come - noone did. Only Carlyle who picked up the call 2nd time sent someone to have a look at the situation. The guy who came for maintenance to the cabin confirmed that snow was not ploughed out. This lady is so rude that she outright denied any help and rejected the fact that ploughing out snow could have been missed out. it was so risky and the outside area was hazardous and not usable.To top up:doors with broken locks, no soap/shampoo/conditioner/hand-soap in the toilet.When contacted: they say, “we think people come here to enjoy snow”.

BIGGEST SNOWSTORM in decades! JANUARY 2023 Ruchika, we are disheartened by your review but we did discuss prior to your writing this review, that we can not refund you based on your threat of a negative review because of snow on the deck. You demanded a "50% refund because of snow on the deck" (after a wonderful week of snowing in Big Bear with more snow than we have received in decades! ) that you would publish many negative reviews on social media. At that time we stated that we are unable to give unjust refunds for fear of negative review retaliation. We still stand by our word, that we won't give into threats of negative reviews. We are sorry that you have chosen this method of retaliation. We strongly feel that when faced with unethical situations, we must call it as we see it. We choose peace and while this negative review impacts us as a small business, we have integrity and that matters the most.

An honest review

The cabin is nice, not luxurious by any means but comfy. It is super hot in the day and upstairs is even hotter. Luckily, we spent the majority of time outside... That's where it's at! Great view of the lake. A lot of various wildlife, mainly squirrels ( adorable) any beautiful Blue Jays. Here are a few tips: Stand directly in front of the tv to change channels. Do not touch the tv, it's not mounted on the wall. It's propped onto the top of a sound bar. Bring knives if you need to chop or cut. There is a paring knife and 1 steak knife. If you leave though the day, keep windows open in the summer, it takes a while to cool down. The nights are absolutely gorgeous, which is great with no AC. It is listed that there's no ac, so we weren't surprised by it, just surprised by the day time heat inside. It's rustic as described. The place was clean and the area was quiet, peaceful. ... Just what we wanted. I do think the price was too high for the cabin itself after checking in and seeing it in person and compared to other properties in the area . Sometimes it's hard to tell in photos what a place really looks like. I saw another reviewer state it was a "shack", I did not think so at all. Yes, bedroom downstairs is small, no door with a draw curtain but we didn't mind. The bathroom was decent sized but the shower..... Eek! It's the size of a motorhome. Kitchen was a good size, fabulous 6 burner gas stove and cool retro fridge - not old but retro style. Picnic table seating for dining. There are 2 chairs ( do not recline) and a couch - all very comfortable. Plenty of chairs on the deck along with a glass table and 2 grills. Seriously great view of the lake. If you are planning a summer trip, be prepared to spend your time outdoors during the day. Obviously that's what most people go there for but if you have someone traveling with you that will not be participating outdoors much, they will get hot inside. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would rent again if the price was lower.

We had the best time of our lives!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is right on the lake. We extended our stay and if we didn't have to come back to work we would have stayed longer! If you are looking for peace and tranquility and still have plenty of activities available to do, I highly recommend renting a cabin from Big Bear Lake Front Cabins! If you need anything while you are there, the property management company responds immediately and takes care of your needs! This was the second time we rented from them and we will be going back again soon!

Rustic Cabin Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented this cabin for a weekend in celebration of my boyfriend’s birthday. We liked that it was close to the lake (even though it was winter time). It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the water. The cabin itself is rustic (drafty windows and doors, wiggly stair handrail, cracked fiberglass shower) but we liked that our dog was welcome. The hot tub was lovely and the kitchen was clean and outfitted with cute, retro appliances. A couple easy things would have improved my rating. It would be easy to provide coffee pods, tea, creamer. Make sure the Sparkletts water cooler has water ( I mean since it is in the kitchen it would be nice to have water in it). But other than that the cabin was stocked with towels, comfy bed, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Check in was a little odd since we pulled up to a hot tub store. Nothing said vacation rentals. We had to call on the phone so someone could let us in. And even though I signed the rental agreement and had to sign that I read the rules online, I had to sign a hard copy again. They must have some rowdy guests.... Check out was easy as it was all done online. If you come in winter, do bring chains for your car. The cabin is down a fairly short but steep hill. If it snows overnight you could be stuck.

Amazing cozy stay!

The house is right next to the lake and has a beautiful porch. Everything was great. I would recommend it again.
