Disappointed

Great location to town. BBQ dirty; items provided either broken or missing. Poor facilities but pool area clean and nice in comparison to the apartment.

An absolute rip off. For $330 a night we got a dirty and poorly maintained unit. This included cobwebs off ceiling , chipped mismatch of crockery,half packet of ratsack under chair and a bathroom and spa that you felt you needed a tetanus needle if used.Hopeless management that replaced our broken toilet seat and did a half- hearted effort to reclean the shower recess. All in all a very disappointing stay.

Lovely little place to stay, close to the Potshot Hotel (for a great local pub/motel) if you don't want a backpackers, share accommodation or camping, Osprey village is the next most reasonable priced accommodation in the area. I very much enjoyed the unit I stayed in, bed was comfortable, amenities were satisfactory and privacy was perfect. The pool is a cute little oasis to lounge around in, for a relaxing day off from all the Ningaloo activities & tours I went on. Others staying in the property were all very respectful of the rules & all very friendly. Had a few gecko's visiting inside, but I loved that, I find them adorable. Property is close enough to the main shops, bakery, pubs, tour booking companies (WhalesharknDive were my choice & delivered a fabulous day) & Information centre... Not close to Town Beach, but that wasn't really worth walking the 2.9 km's to anyway. I would definitely recommend Osprey village to stay in, however travel with a buddy so you can go halves in the price of the property. Best option I could find in the area to not have to share accomodation.

Very Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Firstly, advertised as a 1 B/R unit without the word studio. Next, as you near the door, BBQ is at front door and first thing you see it is in a dirty greasy condition. Next you see the flyscreen door torn so that it is of no use in keeping insects out. Next being a unit, you would expect to have a sink but all you got was a bucket or the bathroom sink to wash dishes etc. Next , as you enter the bathroom, towel rack is broken in half and hanging towards the floor. Went to use a plate and glass and all glassed and plates were in need of cleaning. Bedside lamp was covered in dust. Three areas of ceiling had large cobwebs hanging from them. Worst of all, there was a mouse living in the unit and when the management company was informed, they provided a packet of bait that can take up to 7 days to work, once digested by the rodent. I found the hiding place and informed the management company that I had covered the hole with some cardboard and was informed that they would send someone to place a box trap outside the hole so that the mouse would not die in the wall the 3 days before we checked out,no one came so the mouse was in the wall cavity dying. In fairness the towel rack and screen door were fixed whilst we were there.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I asked for an early check in around lunch time instead of 2.00pm and initally was told it may be possible if i rang in the morning. Unfortunately they told me that instead of an early check in i'd have to wait until 3.00pm. I was already on my way so arrived around 12.30 and could see the room hadnt been cleaned. I didnt get into the room until 3.30pm! So the previous guest checked out at 10.00pm and the cleaner didnt turn up til 2.15pm,that gives 5 and a half hours to clean a 1 bdrm studio! When we finally got into the room we noticed the 2 dinner plates were chipped and there was only 1 bowl. The 3 wine glssses were all different.We then noticed thay although there is a kettle, toaster and microwave and some cups, glasses, and cuttlery, we could only was up in the bath or toilet basin, not exactly hygenic. The towels were stained with bleach or something. The ceiling obviously hadnt been cleaned for a long time as there were spiders webs throughout. The worst thing of all this was that every morning around 4.00am the garden sprinklers came on which created a lot of noise in the bedroom with the sound of the water going through the pipes. We initally thought someone in the adjoining property was having a 4.00am bath until we reaalised a few days later what it was. This was supposed to be a very special holiday for my partner but turned into a nightmare.

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at 3pm for check in, the unit had not been cleaned. We were then advised to come back at 3.30pm to allow the staff to clean the room. When we arrived back at 4.00pm the unit was still not cleaned properly, the floors were still being mopped, there were pillow cases missing and dirty laundry found at the front. Once we settled in we noticed that we did not have a quilt cover, the toilet role was not changed and the freezer was frozen over. We then found dead cockroaches on the floor the next morning.

Not quite value for money!

The property is quite old & is showing wear & tear. Tiles on shower recess floor are badly stained but they look grubby. No cover for your car! No laundry on site. The other larger units have there own laundry. The small BBQ is kept inside the wardrobe space!! Not a good idea as you can actually smell the greasey bbq smell which is why I didn't hang any of my clothes in there ! The vertical blinds don't actually give enough privacy as there is quite a gap at the end where people could easily see in at night when the interior lights are on. I arrived late at night and the lock box numbers were difficult to read, even with my phone torch. Surprised to read in the info book that the property needs to be vacuumed or swept upon vacating...especially when there is a cleaning fee built into the price!!

Very Basic

Osprey Holiday Village is nice and central, close to everything. This apartment is facing the road and next to a gate to the village, so rather noisy. The accommodation is adequate but very basic, would be good if it were a little more comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Osprey holiday village. The room was basic but just what is needed. Walking distance into the main town. Would defiantly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic location close to beach ,shops etc.Clean,comfortable and although on main road very quiet and secure.Loved it.Would definitely stay there again
