Perfect spot to visit Salt Springs

Two minutes from Salt Springs Recreation Area. We had such a nice time. Saw a lot of wildlife and beautiful views.

A GREAT little Cabin!!

If you want a nice relaxing get a way this is your pick! We atv’d, fished, and enjoy a few adult beverages at the 88 just down the road! A great time with great accommodations!! Thank you!

Relaxing Getaway

So enjoyed our stay off the beaten bath. The cabin had everything we needed pus more. Watching the sunsets on the dock was lovely, playing darts under the covered picnic area. The home was clean and comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Little retreat

My family enjoyed the cabin and several fun near by hikes and the salt springs! The swim was refreshing! The weather was perfect for night fires in the fire pit! The back yard was huge and we loved it! Thank you!

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed the lake and all the beautiful springs and nature trails in the area. The cabin was complete.

Quiet family weekend

Lovely stay in a cute, rustic cabin. Was pleasantly surprised by all the amenities and accessibility and proximity to Ocala National Forest. Created great family memories! Will definitely stay here again!!

Such a peaceful get away

The cabin is adorable and has everything you need. We were able to use the canoe on property and make it out to Little Lake Kerr, beautiful. Our dogs enjoyed the property and got to be country dogs for a couple days. Got to meet Myra, what a nice lady. She is the cleaner, make sure you take care of her, she deserves it. Salt Springs was only about 7 minutes away. Its a must do, we went there on a Monday morning. What a great swim, refreshing, clean and overall awesome. We would love to come back and visit again!

My whole family loved!

None of us wanted to leave! It is perfect for families looking to escape and spend time together. We loved it! Only complaint was the water tasted strange from the softener but it was no big deal, just bring some extra water.

Perfect cozy get away

Loved our time b at this property. Just a short 3 night visit with our side by side & 4 wheelers. It was the perfect cabin that had all the feels to ride in an out of with the trail just right outside the property. We used all 3 fireplaces while we stayed. Have to take advantage of the cooler weather. The cabin/ house was cozy and we felt right at home. It was clean and well stocked. Outdoor chairs, grill which we didn't use. ( it needs to be added into the description) a nice lounging area with a sqing& picnic table where my daughter and I made crafts. We even had a visit from black bear.😳 He stayed far enough away. Unfortunately the bed in the master was terribly uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. My family said the other beds were perfect. Thanks for a great stay we will definitely book again.

Relax away from Reality

We had such a great time. House was just as described. Very clean upon arrival. Had everything we needed to begin our stay. We enjoyed having coffee on the porch over looking the pond. Even saw a deer walk by one morning across the pond. The kids loved the swings and dart board. We visited 2 of the local springs. Silver Springs was by far our favorite for kayaking. Would love to return and do it again sometime. In the evenings we had a bonfire and made some s’mores. Where we had several owls flying over head landing in the trees. What a crazy experience. The kids said the house and everything in it was their favorite part of the trip. Thank you for sharing your place away from reality.

Book it! You won’t regret it!

This property was EXACTLY what my family was looking for. My daughter loved the tire swing and was on it every day. We played darts, horseshoes, and board games. We fished and relaxed on the dock. We built camp fires and had s’mores every night! My dog loved being able to roam the huge fenced in yard and napping by the fireplace. My only suggestion is buy groceries on the way into town. The closet Walmart was about 20 minutes away and we didn’t see many restaurants. (which was fine for us, we stayed in every night) There was a small local food mart but the prices were high. The owners ALWAYS responded quickly when I had a question and were very friendly. My family did not want to leave and my daughter begged me to try to buy this property!

A Welcome Reality Check

This little house is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful Ocala National Forest area. Very close to many springs, parks, and recreation areas, wonderful to return to after a busy day exploring this part of Florida. The home was very clean, had comfortable seating and beds, and was very quiet. We loved watching deer come to the lake to drink just as the sun was going down. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing basic meals, but if you want ice be sure to buy/bring your own as the 'fridge doesn't have an ice maker, and there are no ice cube trays in the freezer. This place was perfect for us (a retired couple), but it would also be ideal for larger groups, especially families with children. NOT a "party place" though! Come here to enjoy peace and quiet in the countryside. If you get tired of cooking, "Salt Spring Pizza" is a couple miles away, and the pizza is very good. After three nights here we returned home feeling rested and relaxed. I only wish that I had booked a longer stay in this lovely place.

Had a great stay for the weekend! House had everything we needed and the yard was great too! Had fires, played darts outside, great to have access to little lake kerr too! Would like to stay again 11/12-14 but it looks like it is not available.

Great place to relax with family

Visited with my in-laws, wife, and young children. The property had plenty of activities to keep our family entertained. Board games, TV, darts, horse shoes, tire swing, and more. The massage chair really was hit as everyone took rotating turns using it! Will visit again for sure!

Cozy cabin perfect for a weekend with our littles!!

This cabin was everything.. we arrived to fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed for our stay, board games for the kids & all the activities outside just made our weekend perfect.. we appreciated the how much care was put into this place by the owners!! Our boys had a FABULOUS ti.e fishing, kyacking, playing darts, swinging & making s'mores by the fire! Thank u!!

Great fun for family

The tire swing and hammocks were a hit as soon as the kids jumped out, then they saw the lake. Fishing was great my 9 year old caught the first fish. All the kayaks and canoe insured everyone had a ride. Very nice place, my sister n law who has a place a Salt springs resort will be calling you for her guest.
