WOW just WOW. This was the perfect little fishing getaway. The cabin is incredibly comfortable. Its over stocked with spices and random items in the kitchen. There is everything you could possibly need. The closets are full of pillows and blankets and even a dog bed. If you bring a pup there are toys and food dishes. Tons of fun games and a great fire pit for smores. We caught a few trout right off the bank of the river. We will absolutely be back.

Wonderful White River Escape!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay on the White River. The house was beautifully furnished and comfortable and had everything we needed. Groceries, dining and attractions were close by, but staying in on the beautiful screened in porch was the best part!

We had a great stay! The cabin was immaculate and there are so many amenities that made us very comfortable. The screened in porch is amazing! Check in and check out was easy and communication with the owner was great.

Fantastic Cabin!

Beautiful cabin with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We loved the screened back porch where we drank coffee on the comfy couch and enjoyed the view of the river. We cooked our meals using the well appointed kitchen and awesome grill. Comfy beds too! We had such a peaceful stay and loved the little town of Calico Rock. Can’t wait to return!

Family Vacation 2024

We had a great time! The cabin was one of the cleanest, most well stocked rentals we have ever stayed at. Great view of the White River and we were able to access it and play/fish in the river. We had several deer to visit us each day. We definitely want to return again!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was such a perfect place for our extended weekend getaway! Plenty of space for 2 families and 4 young kids. The kitchen was spacious but we spent most of our time on the screened in porch. The home had everything we could’ve needed! We rented boats from Lindsey’s Boat Dock that was just a couple minutes down the road. And we even swam and bank fished behind the cabin. We will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It’s was immaculately clean and beautiful. Our whole family enjoyed every square inch of the house. It has everything we needed. We came up to relax, enjoy each other and just be. We had EVERYTHING we needed. 10/10

A Little Peace of Heaven

Outstanding no complaints friendly host and easy to contact! The home is above and beyond what you expect and has way more room in it. The fishing was great! The train was not really a problem and it was a much needed get away for me and my family and all we expected and then some! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin is beautiful and so is the view. We were hoping to be able to fish from the bank, but it’s fairly steep. The amenities are plentiful. The screened in porch is amazing! On cool nights, the patio heater and gas fire pit were a perfect way to spend the evening talking with family and friends. The owner texted me right back when I had a question. We had a great and relaxing stay.

Great

I should leave a bad review thus insuring this cabin is available for us in a year. We will be back, anyway we can de-list the cabin so this little secret remains a secret. Kind of like fishing never give up the best spots.. Thank you for allowing us to stay, we had a great time and will be back.

We fished, she relaxed

We've stayed at multiple places along the White and Little Red and this was easily our favorite. The cabin exceeded every expectation. Fully stocked. Updated & comfortable interior. You won't regret booking here. My wife and myself thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee time on the screened-in porch around the fire pit. Our three teenage boys fished for hours on the bank when we weren't in a rented boat. Excellent fishing.There was plenty of room to seat our five around the TV to watch the NCAA tournament, but we spent most of our time outside on the back porch. Downtown Calico Rock is only a few minutes away. I thought the train was charming.

Excellent

We were worried at first because the property is right beside a railroad track that was not mentioned but we stayed a week and heard the train once. The property is very well stocked, beautifully furnished, perfect location, awesome views!! Even comes with a dog bed and toys. The screened in porch is amazing. We spent all our time outside watching the river flowing. We had the best week here and didn't need anything. We will definately be back again.

Family Vacation

This property is precisely as advertised! House was neat/clean and had plenty of room for my wife and I along with our two boys and their friends plus our dog. Caught plenty of trout in the river behind the house. Plenty of yard for our chocolate lab. Fire pit for s’mores. Plenty of restaurants within a reasonable drive time. Had a minor issue with an appliance and the owner cleared up the issue without incident. Very nice neighbors near the house - one even brought us a watermelon. Back porch is great as there is abundant wildlife all around. Plenty of open space for a morning jog down to the boat landing. Wonderful experience - we will be back!!!

Beyond anything you were expecting

The property was absolutely beautiful, entirely furnished with very nice furniture and accoutrement. Very secluded and private yet not miles away from a few stores and grocery. Also a bait shop. Directly on the water with a walking path that goes straight to a little private beach. The house has literally every single thing you could need. All appliances, seasonings, silverware, knives, laundry and dishwasher detergent, shampoo, body wash, condition, hair dryer, towels, first aid kit, coffee, tea, cocoa, propane grill, patio propane fire pit, outdoor fire pit, fish cleaning station, and a ton ton more. We needed for nothing. We caught 50+ fish in 3 days. I absolutely cannot wait to stay at this cabin again. Also, all the bed, recliners, and couches were extremely comfortable. 10/10 recommend.

Excellent getaway spot

We picked this cabin because it looked very comfortable and looked like it was in great condition in online ad. It was both comfortable and in very nice condition. We didn't fish this time but home is the best you will find for whatever you want to do in the area. Each couple had a king bed and their own bathroom which was two of our must haves. Third must have was dog friendly and this worked out very well. There are lots of critters moving and making noises so your dog must be under constant control. Ours were. Only trouble we had was finding the address on the house late first night in the dark. Most rentals make it easier to see the address on a sign or something. I saw someone complained about the train tracks being so close. No train ever came through and it's a dead end street so very quiet and private. We will definitely book this home again for next trip into Arkansas.

Wonderful, relaxing cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The property was relaxing and beautiful. We were so relaxed we didn’t even mind the train that came through occasionally. It just added to the charm of this property. The only disappointing thing about our stay was that we couldn’t fish from the property. The local fishing guides said that the river was about six feet low and I’m sure that this contributed to not being able to fish from the bank of the property. Speaking of local fishing guides please go and check out Jenkins Fishing Service and Calico Rock Trout Dock! Those guys are super knowledgeable and very helpful at a reasonable price for guided tours and boat rentals!! We can’t wait for a return visit!
