Nice location, spotless unit, spotty management

The unit was spotless and contains all the necessary things needed for a short stay. The location is perfect, in downtown Bethesda. That said, our move-in instructions were never sent, 15 minutes before our move-in time of 4 PM, we were told that it would be pushed back to 6 PM, and it ended up being after 7:20 PM. We had a dog with us so it’s not as if we could go sit in a bar or restaurant somewhere. We had to wait in the lobby. In addition, the television in the living room never worked properly. Although we gave times to the management company as to when we would be there, twice they showed up to fix it when we were not there and claimed they could not get in because they heard our dog barking. Clearly, they failed to read our instructions about our presence in the unit. This was our second stay at this particular unit and the first one was flawless. After this experience, I’m not sure we will return.

Perfect for our needs

We needed a place in Bethesda accommodate us and our dog over the Christmas holiday. This truly suited our needs. The location was across the street from the District 2 police station, so I felt very safe walking the pup late at night. (Bethesda is a safe location, anyway, but the presence of police added another level of security.) The garage fob initially did not work but management quickly change it out. My only complaint is that the foam mattress on the queen size bed in the primary bedroom was not the best. That said, we would certainly consider renting this unit again. Bethesda Row and the metro is about a ten to fifteen minute walk.

Our stay

We found the property to be quite appealing snd in a convenient location. Our only complaint was that the bed lacked any sort of blankets when we arrived. While customer service staff was very pleasant when we requested assistance to obtain blankets, it took three days and several phone calls before we received the blankets. After that our stay was very pleasant.

Close to the NIH

This listing is a great alternative to a hotel stay; cheaper, with a full kitchen. I stayed there for a few days while my husband had surgery at the NIH. He joined me after his surgery and we were both so comfortable. It’s only a few minute drive to the NIH and there’s a parking garage within walking distance. The building is quiet, clean, and safe.

Writing retreat space near family I hadn’t seen

This worked out perfect for a writing retreat/location near my mom I hadn’t seen since 2020 due to covid and business as usual since. Great space, location 2 blocks from an Orangetheory fitness, of which I’m a member, and lots of great restaurants and a lovely park and walkway within blocks. Brought my cat and really enjoyed the space.

Clean apartment, good location

Nice apartment, everything new and clean. The quality of the internet was abysmal though. Had to rely on my phone hotspot entirely.

Luxurious Facility and apartment nestled around safe and convenient neighborhood

I thoroughly enjoyed the location and facility at Bethesda very much. The gym was clean and equipped with machines and weights. The rooftop was incredibly spacious and relaxing. They have lounge seats, grill area and even dog park.. The adjacent recreation room on the rooftop provided a luxurious space to study, lounge, and relax. What a wonderful pent floor! The location of the apartment was perfect. I've walked to downtown Bethesda for coffee in the morning and shopped at local boutiques. I've rented a car and the secure garage below the building was convenient located for me to access my car. This was my 1st time renting from Global Luxury and I am definitely looking into other locations for my next travel with families and friends.

Great getaway

I rented the property to undertake a writing retreat and check out the area as a potential place to move. The building was great, and property itself was clean and modern. It was perfect for my needs!
