Fabulous apt in 1927 home in lively (and safest) neighborhood WDC. Private entrance. Big, clean, just-renovated. Eat-in kitchen, queen BR, LR w/ daybeds. Should you need a 5th bed, a twin airbed mattress and linens are in the closet. Great amenities! Superhosts. EZ parking.
Walk to Friendship Metro (4 blks), Politics & Prose, great cafes, restaurants, bakeries, shops, grocery stores, 2 splash playgrounds, pool and tennis. Walk/ bike Cresent Trail. Near NIH, Zoo, Nat Cathedral, Rock Creek Park. Metro to museums, Capitol Hill, monuments, airports.

Great location for walkable conveniences. Trader Joe’s, CVS, Whole Foods and the metro.Kitchen was well equipped. It felt like a home away from home.

My husband, son and I appreciated the clean and comfortable basement apartment. It had a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, games/books for adults and children. We were able to easily walk .75mi through a beautiful neighborhood to find Metro station to get to DC and colleges. Shops/restaurants were even closer. My only suggestions for others is to bring your own breakfast items and be prepared to do clean up despite the cleaning fee.

The apt. is beautifully furnished and a joy to see all the art work.Kitchen wonderfully equipped.Bed lovely to sleep in.Full of books- only drawback is the v. narrow bathroom & tiny shower.

Wonderful Stay

This basement apartment was the perfect stay. Great location, great for pets, well-supplied home, quiet, comfy — all this made this an easy, carefree stay. Will definitely stay again if we rent to the area.

This is a great basement apartment, stocked with coffee and basic essentials. The bed and daybed are comfortable. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood just a short walk to some great restaurants and CVS. The shower is small and hard to navigate as a shorter person due to how the showerhead points, but that was the only issue we had. Lovely place to stay!

I can’t say enough great things about the rental unit and the hosts. The apartment was perfect with plenty of space, an excellent kitchen, laundry area, amenities and nearby easy street parking. The hosts could not have been kinder and more responsive to my every need. The area is excellent with restaurants, shopping and recreation nearby. My daughter especially loved Charlie! I would stay again in a heartbeat. One of my very best VRBO experiences.

Highly recommend!

We were in DC to visit family and stayed here for 3 nights. Very cozy, comfortable and convenient. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with all of the basics we needed. We definitely hope to return.

The apartment was advertised as "the Best Apartment in Chevy Chase" and it was!We walked in to a fresh, clean, well cared for place to stay in a great location. We could have stayed longer just to read the books that are on the shelves. The kitchen and bath were well stocked, the bed was comfortable. We felt like well treated guests. Thank you!

Great place to stay in DC

We have stayed here before and that is why we stayed on this trip to DC. The host provides many amenities that make our stay comfortable. The extra effort she gives is appreciated. The location is very convenient to visit DC.

Perfect stay!

We stayed at this property with family, friends and our dogs. Steve and Katy were very nice and accommodating. The place was exceptionally clean, it has every essentials that you will ever need. It is also very close to local transit, grocery stores and restaurants. We are very happy that we found this gem! We would stay here again if we were to visit Washington DC. We highly recommend staying at this place.

Great home base in Chevy Chase

The property is clean, comfortable, and well appointed. It is in a great neighbourhood, with easy access to bus and metro transportation, groceries, restaurants, etc. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our meal at Buck’s Fishing and Camping on Connecticutt, and take out lunches from Broad Branch market.

Charming Apartment, Excellent Location

We had a phenomenal stay as a family with 2 young kids and a pug - the location is perfect, in a very safe and beautiful neighborhood with nearby parking that is easily accessible. Plenty of restaurants/shops/etc. within easy walking distance and the metro was only about a 10 minute walk to get to all the main DC attractions! The apartment itself is very cozy, warm and charming. It was extremely clean and well appointed, with all essentials you could need in the kitchen and bath. Beds were comfy and we slept extremely well. The property owner is a warm and kind host who made time to chat with us; we had a lovely stay and hope we get to visit again someday!

Great Spot

It’s a clean and comfortable apartment with a good bit of natural light in a great neighborhood — accessible to public transit, easy parking, and safe. The hosts were helpful in advance and have a well-appointed ( and stocked) place. I brought my 22lb dog and he was comfy and enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood. Already booked a return visit!
