The condo is very comfortable, beautiful view, very nicely decorated and well furnished with everything you need. We survived a hurricane and we were very fortunate to be located close to food and supplies. Also a gas station that was open and had a short line. We would love to come back under better weather conditions

We spent half the week at this lovely condo and the other half at a fancy resort in Poipu. The verdict is in: both grown-ups and children on our trip enjoyed the condo more! It felt like home away from home and who needs a waterslide when there is a beautiful beach with tons of fun right outside!The condo was clean and well kept; our hosts were kind and responsive. The photo showing the lanai and view is a bit old - the trees have grown quite taller and block some of the view. Is it possible to trim the trees to help the view from being obstructed? The condo was wonderful, and the location was awesome. We loved our stay there and hope to come back again.

You are correct, the palm trees have indeed grown up in front of the main Lanai. The view from the other Lanai remains unobstructed. We have talked with the General Manager about the trees and they are trimming them so they are more "narrow" in shape and within another 2 or 3 years, they will be above the Lanai and hopefully provide some shade from the mid-afternoon sun. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we would love to have you come back and stay with us again !

This unit is even more gorgeous in person! The most beautiful and peaceful vacation spot we've ever been to. Super comfy beds, plenty of pillows the kitchen has everything you need and there was plenty of room for our family to all hang out together or go our seperate ways but still feel connected. The location was also fantastic, we loved exploring Old town Kapa'a among other places. Our hosts were wonderful - we hope to be back soon!

The Wendell’s are outstanding hosts - excellent communication who have created a comfortable & beautifully furnished home with a well-supplied kitchen, nice beach gear, lots of good books on Kauai history and nature, as well as, a very helpful notebook of tips and Lae Nani information. This condo exceeded both of our expectations by far!!!! It was just exactly as described and it made our trip to Kauai an unforgettable one! We will definitely be repeat visitors! And soon I hope! The condo was very well decorated, comfortable, clean, spacious and was so quiet. The sound doesn’t seem to travel too much at all which is nice. It is also well stocked. Lae Nani is beautifully maintained. You have oceanfront, pool, and a beautiful condo. The owners are wonderful hosts providing everything you need. The sunrises are phenomenal, monk seals rest on the beach, and shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed.

Amazing location with a pool just steps away from the beach so my kids could go back and forth. Views were spectacular, would highly recommend when visiting Kauai!Be sure to checkout the guest book for a custom page from my daughter Sloan, she was pretty proud of telling everyone how much she loves Hawaii and saying "weee" on the boogey-board

The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds were wonderful and added much value to our vacation. Very well maintained like a botanical garden and the tide pools along the ocean provided many fun hours of exploration. Be sure to catch the sunrise one morning!

10/10 Beautiful Condo! The protected beach is the cherry on top of a beautiful condo. Everything was clean, communication was very smooth, condo is in a great location. Easy walking access to shopping and restaurants. Very quiet location. Absolutely loved our stay!

Beautiful place, love how everything is logically labeled, love the large washer and dryer. Amenities were clean and kitchenware clean and new. No complaints. We found a new place to eat not far from the condo. Brand new food truck with eating area which was clean, parking, and bathrooms. Kauai Myanmar food and sushi, great Burmese food, chef worked at Nobu, best ever poke. They are adding some Thai choices.

Kaua’i Spring Break

Lae Nani was the perfect spot for our family spring break trip. The property is beautiful, the condo has anything you think you could need for a great trip and the location is perfect for getting anywhere on the island. We loved it and would definitely stay again!

The unit is owned by Shannon and Wendell Meeres. We are truly beach people and love to spend time at this amazing location. Wendell is an avid kiteboarder, wing foiler and SUP surfer who has found a few secret spots to ride from on Kauai. Shannon is always on the look out for interesting travel opportunities around the world.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We looked all over Hawaii for properties and fell in love with Kauai. After looking at a number of properties on Kauai, we walked into Lae Nani 535 and stood dumbfounded by the view. We purchased the property from the original owners who were friends of the developer and who advised them to purchase this specific unit on the basis that it had the best views and the most privacy of any unit in the complex.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The East side of Kauai (also known as the Coconut Coast) is unsurpassed in location and access to the rest of the island. The weather here is in between the wet zone (North Shore) and the dry zone (South Shore). Our unit is unique in that both the master bedroom and the living room directly face the ocean and the feeling of privacy from the other units is unsurpassed. The previous owners completed an extensive renovation and we will continue to update and maintain our unit, striving to create a Hawaiian feel with original artwork and restored local furniture.

After touring much of Hawaii, we believe that Lae Nani captures the true Hawaii feel which is represented by the beautiful beach, the lush gardens and the sound of the surf. This particular complex is very peaceful yet is just steps to restaurants, shopping and easy access to both the North Shore and the South Shore. One of the few casual beach bars/restaurants on the Island is the Lava Lava which is a one minute walk from Lae Nani.

Also, helping make Lae Nani so special is an ancient Hawaiian spiritual site (called a Heiau) which is located on the point, in front of the complex. The special nature of this location has been known to the local Hawaiians (Polynesians) for perhaps 1400 years and now we have the honor of being able to experience it and share it respectfully with our guests.
