Wonderful cabin and hosts

We had a lovely time at 1 Oak. The cabin is spacious yet cozy, and very clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped and organized; the drawers and cabinets are labeled so we knew exactly where to find what we needed and where to put it back. David responded to our questions very quickly and was great to communicate with. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace during the chilly winter evenings in Munds Park. We hoped to play in the snow, but the weather unfortunately did not cooperate. However, David had even made sleds available for us in the event there was snow. We have stayed at many cabins in Northern AZ over the years, and 1 Oak is without a doubt one of the best. It is very refreshing to work with owners who take such great care of and pride in their home and are wonderful hosts. Highly recommend!

The property was beautiful. It was clean and beautifully decorated. It was very well stocked with all items needed for a very comfortable stay. Even the added touch of pasta sauce and wine were a special touch. I would stay here again and would recommend it to other travelers.

The best VRBO we have ever stayed at!

We have stayed at literally 100 different VRBO homes over the last decade, especially when we traveled monthly to AZ while our house was being built. For 3 years and through VRBO, we rented out my mom’s house on the beach in Ventura that we gave all the attention and love that was put into this house! Thoughtful touches, like plenty of towels, hooks in the bathrooms and along the front to hang up clothes, the yummy pasta and sauce, the coffee and hot chocolate bar and so much attention to details! My grandkids had a blast and we will definitely be returning to this beautiful, well appointed and loved home! Thank you for sharing it with us😊😊😊

Clean, Cozy and Cutest Cabin

Our family will definitely be back! We have a family of seven, my husband, and I in our five teenagers. All of us fit perfectly, and it was cleaner and cozier than the pictures even portray. Dave is very responsive and they have done a fantastic job making you feel at home.

Home away from home

The property is clean, well-equipped and has everything necessary for a home away from home. The location is great too, right in the middle of so many things to do, all less than a 2 hr drive away. The propery owners are extremely responsive and even thinking about our stay more than we were. We were there over Thanksgiving, and they reached out to us ahead of time to make sure we didn't need anything special for the holiday meal. If we are ever back in the area, we'd definitely stay again.

Great getaway spot

This is a cute log cabin retreat. It is well managed, very clean and designed for comfort and practicality. Even though it is inly 10 miles from Sedona, it is a 45 minute drive. Flagstaff is the closest for grocery stores and other amenities. Aside from the driving, it was a great rental!

Amazing Cabin in the perfect location

The cabin is perfect for a family trip to the mountains. The cabin is set up perfect for a family. It has games for the kids and comfy lounging for the adults. They have anything and everything you need… including a highchair, pack and play and changing table for our infant (all brand new). The location is perfect/ central to all of northern AZ. I highly recommend staying here. This is one of many stays for me and my family.

March Break Retreat

House was a beautiful log cabin exactly as advertised. Hosts thought of every detail and were very responsive and available. Very family friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend to others. It was a bit of a drive to some of the trails we wanted to see but the drive was still beautiful in any direction.

Driveway and Walkway were covered with snow

We had about two inches snow in the area. Driveway and walk way we’re covered with snow. Couldn’t make the way for walk way. We stayed two day. Sent massage to VRBO and the owner. No response and by the second day the snow turned in to ice. Disappointed

Beautiful and Relaxing Home Away from Home

This trip was just what my family and I needed, in a home that made it picturesque perfect. We had a blast celebrating my grandsons 1st birthday. The owners were incredible to work with so much so that we extended our stay. It was so hard to leave. Thank you for an incredible time making wonderful memories.

Beautiful stay

The cabin is beautiful and even better in person. The cabin has everything you need for your stay and the host even included a bottle of champagne for us to enjoy on New Year’s Eve. The neighborhood is wonderful and we enjoyed exploring the area. We would love to come back in the summer as well. David was wonderful and was always on top of everything. The kids had a blast in the game room. We highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

We are an active family of four from Scottsdale, AZ. My husband went to NAU and I went to ASU. We have 2 daughters. Myself and my daughters are native Arizonans. Our family loves everything Arizona has to offer from its weather to beautiful sky’s and landscapes, landmarks and national parks. We choose Munds Park because it’s an easy 1 1/2 hour drive up from the Valley. It makes a great jumping off point for so many other places to visit in Arizona. Such as the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Walnut National Monument and way too many others to list. We have fell in love with the neighborhood small town easy going atmosphere here in Munds Park. We hope you will too as well as explore our amazing Arizona!
