Very charming apt decorated in a beachy feel. Nice size rooms!. Great location. Beach is beautiful. The bedroom furniture could use a drop of updating but overall was a great stay!

Great Place, Great Location

You can't go wrong at La Perla. Right on the beach. Pool is fantastic. Across the street from lots of shops and restaurants. Don't need the car as much, compared to other locations. Beautiful condo, great views. Staff are very nice. I have stayed at La Perla several times and would not hesitate to stay again.

Everything was great, Employees were wonderful and helpful. What we didn’t like was there was no TV in the living room, which we weren’t aware of, the lighting in the living and dining area was dark. I would suggest a lounge chair or two on the balcony.chairs

Great condo and excellent views!

Very nice condo in upscale building. Amazing views and larger balcony. Great location with easy walk to restaurants. Great beach and pool with nice lounge chairs in reserved area near pier. Only heads up is there is a length application process that requires social security number for all adults with $100 fee per couple and $25 per person ID card. But we felt the condo was worth it and we would stay again.

Nice apartment but needed a deep cleaning and update furniture and kitchen gadgets.

The apartment layout and the view were beautiful but the apartment really needed a deep cleaning and updated furniture. Kitchen was old and pots & pans not usabable. We ended up buying pillows, sheets, blankets, pot and pans in order to make our stay more confortable.

"Amazing Apartment" in the title perfectly sums-up my experience! Nicely furnished apartment with great views, plenty of rooms, bathrooms, balconies! Well, technically there is only one balcony, but it goes around from beachfront side to the side looking to Newport hotel and have 3 entries: from both bedrooms and from the living room. I really appreciated that the host (Jaime) was accommodating to all requests: very-very late check-in (around midnight), late check-out and an addition of extra person to the contract at the last minute! La Perla's amenities include pool & beach services with towels, chairs, umbrellas as well as gym and valet parking.

View to die for

The view from the enormous ocean-front balcony is stunning. It would easily make up for any shortcomings in the apartment. Jaime was very easy to deal with and immediately attended to any small problems we had with the apartment. This apartment, as one can see from the pictures on line, is not your typical white-leather furniture unit. It is much more unique, with interesting furniture which makes it much more homey than some of the units in this building. The beach is fantastic, and the beach staff is great. It could be improved if the building enforced their rules on not allowing people to save chairs, etc. Also, the towels provided by the building were almost never available during February unless you went down and got them at 8:15. By 8:30 they were all gone. This was rectified in March when they procured more towels. But these are building problems, not problems with the apartment. I found this unit to be perfect for its view, and would very happily stay here again.

I booked my stay at this property on Expedia. At the same time I booked my flight with the policy of free cancellation within 24hr. I got the message about cancellation by the owner next day, after 24hr passed. I tried to message the owner, but did not get any apology in response. The reason of cancellation was stated as scheduled plumbing repair. After the reservation was cancelled by the owner, the appartment was stiil available for booking on Expedia for the same time period I have booked it. I am very disappointed with the owner of this appartment and the rules that allowed the property to be cancelled after 24hr after booking.

Realmente...una maravilla...la ubicación, la calidez de Jaime y la calidad del departamento.

Las fotografías no muestran lo que es el departamento y el condominio. La ubicación es fantástica...sobre la playa, con una vista increíble y en un barrio muy entretenido donde puedes encontrar de todo muy cerca. Gracias Jaime por tu amabilidad y disposición...sin dudas es un lugar para regresar y disfrutar mil veces.

Great location and view

The condo was just as described. Very nicely appointed and clean too. We did not have any issues and Jamie was great to deal with. Beach access is very convenient. There are many options for eating and grocery shopping within walking distance. Very safe area. We would definitely return.

Amazing family vacation

Our 2 boys and ourselfs truly enjoyed our winter break in sunny Miami. Apartment is great. Photos don’t do justice. Rooms are large, living room is spacious, beds are super comfortable, view is amazing. We had a fantastic time. Location is very convenient, stores and restaurants are in walking distance, beach is great, well equipped gym, attentive staff. All our questions were answered right away. To summarize, my new year wish was to return to the same place next year.

Loved every second of our stay!

We loved our stay at Jaime's condo. The condo is spectacular - brand new and tastefully decorated. The view through the all glass windows is of carribean blue waters, pelicans flying by coupled with the sound of the waves and the daily amazing sunrises over the oceans and sunsets over the intercostal and the sunny isles skyline. Jaime was the best host we have ever had. There is everything you need in the condo - brand new towels, table settings, plates for a 12 person dinner, pots, pans, toaster. There is wifi in the condo and la Perla has wifi through the entire building. There is playroom for kids in the building if they have gotten too much sun. We love the beach in front of la perla. It is shallow and calm. The restaurant on the dock is an easy way to get dinner and has excellent cocktails (try the key lime pie). Our kids loved the gigantic jacuzzi (or heart shaped as per my 5 yr old son) tub! They had so much fun taking a bath after a busy day on the beach and the pool. We will be coming back couple of times per year. Thank you Jaime!

Excelente experiencia

La propiedad es excelente. Estuvimos alojados por 7 días, dos matrimonios. El mobiliario muy adecuado, todas las instalaciones funcionan de manera correcta, aire acondicionado, iluminación, señal de Internet de muy buena velocidad. Los aparatos de cocina, utensilios, etc. de buena calidad, en cantidad suficiente. Inicialmente no había secador de cabello, pero Jaime se encargó rápidamente y nos proveyó uno. La decoración muy agradable. El servicio de playa, pileta y gimnasio muy bueno también. Todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado. En cuanto a Jaime, estuvo siempre disponible para cualquier consulta o necesidad que tuviéramos no solo del apartamento, sino también de cualquier otra cosa sobre Miami en general. Estuvo disponible en horarios flexibles, tanto para la recepción como para la entrega del apartamento. Y mostró excelente disposición par resolver cualquier situación que necesitáramos en forma inmediata. La administración central había dispuesto unos cambios en sus procedimientos de registro, y es en esta oportunidad que valoramos la disposición de Jaime para resolverlo inmediatamente, lo que significo para nosotros ninguna demora ni perjuicio alguno. La ubicación es excelente, el acceso a la playa muy rápido y cómodo, y muy cerca, solo caminando algunas cuadras, hay varias plazas comerciales con Supermercados, tiendas de todo tipo, y una oferta de gastronomía bien variada. Sin duda volveríamos a alojarnos aquí.
