Great property location on a quiet cove. House was very clean and newly renovated. Owner lives next door and was a pleasure to deal with. The property manager Evolve did not respond to questions before arrival. Overall a great get away at a good price.

Awesome, experience on Lake Norman

Was looking for a casual place for our annual guys trip and this place, right on Lake Norman, fit the bill perfectly. We stayed the week after the 4th of July, 2021 and had an amazing time. Pretty busy time a year on Lake Norman, but I am from the area and already have a boat in dry storage on the lake, so I wanted us to be further north on the lake to not only to avoid a lot of traffic and rough “seas”, but this place is right around the corner from a few restaurants/bars that you can pull up to and dock. Saw a lot of fishing going on in the nice quiet canal and it seemed like the luck was good there, although we didn’t partake this time. The place is exactly as advertised and the check in process with the owner was excellent. After the great experience we had my friends are already asking whether we should go ahead and book this place again. I highly recommend it!

Great Week on the Lake

Our family and I loved the house and dock! House is simple but perfect. Lots of space to between the deck and the open concept living/dining/kitchen area. Kevin the owner is easy to get a hold of if you need anything. Love Lake Norman and this great house. Thanks for a great week.

Fun lake trip

We had a great time at this cozy place in a quiet neighborhood. It was nice being on a calm part of the lake and although we didn't bring a boat it was nice to have the adjacent boat ramp to walk our dog into the water. The dock has spacious open and covered areas. Owners were very responsive.

Peaceful and relaxing

My family and I, including our lovable lab, REALLY enjoyed our stay at the property! The amenities were wonderful and the neighborhood was very friendly and peaceful. Such a great location, and the access to the lake was perfect. The property owners were very accommodating and very accessible. We highly recommend!

Excellent lake front property!

This was the 1st Annual Family gathering for Labor Day weekend, and it was a success in part because of the wonderful accommodations! It was sparkling clean and it had everything we needed for cooking in every night. The dock was perfect for our group with kayaks, and SUPs. The doggies were in complete heaven! Kevin was very nice and helpful by email and we met in person when we arrived and when we left, and he made sure that our stay was nothing less than perfect! We will definitely have great memories in this place and hopefully, we will return at some point!

Great family trip!

We truly enjoyed our stay and Kevin, the property manager, was so helpful! The boat launch was perfect and if it wasn't booked solid the rest of summer we would have booked another stay this year. The dock with the covered area was much appreciated and our 4 children spent the better part of the week swimming in the cove that also had a nice shady area. Will definitely try to stay again!

An amazing property tucked away in a peaceful lake cove! Beautiful clean and comfortable!

It was perfect! The location and home was clean and so nicely decorated with Great Lake dock amenities! Very thoughtfully supplies with dishes, trays and an abundance of hooks that is so helpful when traveling! Loved every aspect of it! Owner was so attentive when I had a question. Grateful for our time there!

Perfect Getaway

This was exactly what we were looking for for our fishing trip. Ease of access with the private ramp and personal dock made the entire trip for us. The homeowner was very friendly and answered any questions we had very quickly.

Peaceful and relaxing!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at the shack! It is a cute and quaint home with everything you need. We stayed in the off season and were still able to take advantage of the beautiful dock and enjoy coffee in the Adirondack chairs in the sunshine looking out onto the lake! Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, super clean, and cozy! Owners were quick to respond to any questions we had and were really nice. Close to town and Lake Norman State Park where we took our dogs on a hike around the lake. Will definitely be back to the shack!

Amazing

The place was amazing! It was very clean and newly remodeled. The outside deck and dock deck was perfect. We spent all our time on them. Deffently going to make a trip back. Kevin the host could be nice and more friendly, felt like we were part of the neighborhood.

Nice stay

Very clean, nice accommodation. The only surprise for me in this particular price point ($$ per night) is that there was no regular coffee, no creamers (even the non dairy kind!) and no shampoo. Typically in this price point, those amenities were included. Quiet area, clean accommodations. Thanks

Lake Norman house

Such a great little house! Perfect location to access stores and rental businesses. Great dock and easy to hitch up a boat or simply float around and relax. Awesome deck with a grill and tables/chairs and a view of the lake. The owners are extremely easy to communicate with and most accommodating. It is a quaint, clean house and was a perfect size for four adults and two pups for a long weekend. The beds are comfy, cookable kitchen, and clean bathroom. Not a very lounge friendly family room area, which was fine for us as we spent most of our time outdoors on the deck, dock, and on the lake. We had a great time here and are likely to book again!

Great for a Quick Getaway

We did a short weekend stay, and this was a perfect choice. Easy to get to from the airport in Charlotte, with plenty of options for dining. The house was stocked with a bunch of great stuff - all linens, all paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.), lots of kitchenware, even a set of beach towels. This is an excellent option if you're looking to pack a quick bag and escape without having to load up the vehicle with bags and bags of supplies. Highly recommend!
