Mountain Condo

Ski weekend

One of the best equipped kitchens in a rental unit. The beds were comfortable and everything as listed. Would stay here again if it’s available.

Nice, clean property that was perfect for the needs of 2 women!

This 2 BR, 2 Bath property was perfect for myself and my friend. Very clean and in a central location, close to slopes and town. Would stay there again!

Great Spot!

Great little spot here in Steamboat! Close to hiking trails and only 10 min from downtown. Check in process was super easy and efficient and property was clean and cozy! Outdoor patio area was a HUGE plus!

To say a perfect property is just the beginning, This room, Location and overall presence on the mountain is AMAZING. The View of the Lifts along with the amazing View of the Homes and other properties in the area near the main lift area is really just the perfect spot to enjoy your Time with your Family anf friends.

Nice place for a ski retreat.

Had everything we needed for a great week skiing at Steamboat. Comfortable place. ONLY issue was the extremely loud and obnoxious unit above us making noise at all hours.

Nice convenient condo.

Condo is a little dated but has everything you need. Ski locker, Excellent shuttle service to mountain and town. 2 hot tubs with sunset views. Fully stocked. Slept 2 adults and 1 child very comfy without having to use pull out couch.

Stay in Steamboat

We liked the location of the property and it was spacious. However, the condo interior was run down and needed updating. Beds were comfortable but the couches were old and worn and the rug was stained in several places.

The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. The dining table was big enough for 6. Everything was clean. Extra bonus was the humidifier.

Condo was as advertised. Very clean. Close to base/village. Complementary shuttle service was convenient. Great views of gondolas from kitchen! Parking not a problem.

Binder information insufficient

Mutiple thermostats on walls, multiple radiators, few radiators responded to thermostat changes. No information in bider regarding that. Fire place didn't work. No information in binder regarding fireplace troubleshooting. No map of property showing one's location in reference to hot tub, sauna. An email stated there would be two keys to the front door. There was only one.

Very convenient!

Me, my wife, and my buddy and his wife each have 5 month old daughters. This was our first big "away" trip, so we wanted a place that wasn't a frat house, but also wasn't so far away from everything that it was a hassle to enjoy ourselves. This condo was perfect! There was plenty of room for all of us, and the condo had all of the essentials that kept us from having to worry that we forgot to pack something or needed to make a big trip to the store. The BEST things about the condo was how close the condo was to the clubhouse and OUTDOOR hot tubs (both big enough to never be crowded), and also that my buddy and I could make the easy walk to Steamboat with our skis and snowboard and not have to worry about driving. I think the walk was under a half-mile, about 8 minutes. The condo was very cozy and comfortable, and we'd love to return again in the summer or fall to check out some of the nearby trails for hiking!

Ski season weekend

The property is nice and well stocked. I deducted some stars for the check in process and because the property was not actually ready for us upon arrival. Plenty of linens and anything you could need in a kitchen. Everything is comfortable and functional. Location is great for heading to the resort or into town. There is a private shuttle service that comes directly to the parking lot or a public bus stop a very short walk away. You can see the lifts from the patio and may even spot some wildlife. The check in process would be a lot easier if the actual unit number was provided instead of a general description. Unfortunately the place was not cleaned from the previous group when my family arrived so we had to get a hotel for the night. It added a level of unneeded stress after a long day of travel in winter conditions not to mention disruption of our plans and time on the mountain. The owner was only willing to refund us the cost of one night rather than the actual incurred cost of the hotel stay. Thankfully we only had to get one hotel room so the difference wasn't a lot, but it is frustrating that only the bare minimum was done to make up for situation. What if we had needed 2 hotel rooms to cover our group? The property can sleep up to 6. They could not provide us a time we would have access the following day so we could plan around it. They just called once it was cleaned to let us know. As a business and property owner myself I felt like more could have been done to correct the situation.

The unit was in an older building. Fireplace did not work. First night, I had to contact property manager for higher heat. The absolute best thing about the unit was the shuttle service. Convenient and reliable and freeeeee. Beds were comfy.

I fell in love with the Rockies on my first ski trip many years ago. This fall I realized my dream to have a place on the mountain. For the past 6 seasons I have visited Steamboat in the summer. Between the winter champagne powder and the summer splendor of the Yampa River with the town's lovely botanical park, this is truly a year round place . I continue to pursue my medical profession and call Fort Collins, Colorado, my home base. When I am not skiing, I enjoy biking, hiking, gardening, and international volunteer medical work.

Location, location, location. Yampa View is one of the highest units on the mountain, and you can actually ski to it from the mountain base. It is a corner unit with views of the woods and gondola, making it more private.. There is a hiking path which runs behind the patio where foxes and other wildlife can be spotted. I love to sit in the lounge chair, book or binoculars in hand, fireplace alight, and enjoy the passing scene. That is, when I am not enjoying the incredible outdoors which Steamboat offers.

Walking into the kitchen area and looking out to the sunny woods beyond the patio door made me feel part of the true nature of the mountain. " Snow Genie" in condo has been a good luck charm for all visitors. Look for namesake birdhouse in corner of kitchen!
