Black Hills Haven truly exceeded our expectations and had everything—and more—than we could have hoped for. The neighborhood was lovely, quiet, and conveniently close to town, with so many beautiful places nearby to walk, explore, and enjoy the scenery. The holiday touches made our stay extra special—the Christmas tree and stockings were such a thoughtful and cozy surprise and made the home feel incredibly warm and welcoming. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and would absolutely love to stay here again!

We had a great stay and absolutely loved the location—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights was definitely the massage chairs—such a treat after long days of exploring!A couple of suggestions that could make future stays even better: we would recommend adding some softer or higher-quality pillows for a more comfortable night’s sleep. Also, having a few more bowls in the kitchen would be handy for preparing and serving meals. Lastly, a small bench near the entryway would make it much easier to follow the shoe removal policy.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place—with just a few small improvements, it would be perfect

Absolutely perfect place for 3 couples traveling through the area. Mt Rushmore, Crazyhorse and BlackHills all worth visiting. On out way to horseback pack trip in Cody and this was a perfect stop for 3 nights

Mickelson Trail bicycle trip

Myself, my wife, a college friend and his wife spent 4 nights here. We went to the Black Hills to ride the Mickelson Trail. This property was everything and more than what was listed. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

The perfect retreat

Beautiful home where you will feel right at home. So close to amazing hiking and visiting Mount Rushmore. it was the perfect stay for our family of 6. The massage chairs came in handy after a long day of hiking! Thank you for helping us make some wonderful memories.

House was centrally located, walkable to the town, and in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the massage chairs, star gazing, and the visitng deer.

Great location and everything you need

We had a great stay at this property. The location is excellent. The place was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 teens) and had plenty of room. Check in was easy. And communication was great. They even went above and beyond to return a sweatshirt one of my kids left behind.

A Perfect Hills City/Black Hills Getaway Location

Our stay in the Black Hills was fantastic! The house was charming and spacious, with a great location close to the Mickelson Trail, making exploration a breeze. We also loved the variety of games available—perfect for family fun after a day of hiking! Plus, the massage chairs were an amazing touch for unwinding in the evenings. The only downside? We wish we had brought our own pillows—nothing beats your favorites from home! Overall, this was a fantastic getaway that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the Black Hills.

Beautiful house with plenty of room and met our needs. Might need to spray for insects. One siter had a bug bite and a spider was found in another sisters shoe! Luckily no bit there! Overall great stay.

Nice home. Worked perfect for 10 people.

Perfect setup and space for our family. Right amount of bathrooms and showers. Great location. We were able to check in early. Overall it was clean enough, except the floor. It has a grimy sticky film on it. Kitchen could use some better cooking pans. But despite those things I’d recommend this place.

Great stay great location...very loud (echo) inside

They house was great, bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The living area is very close and the whole house is really loud. Everything echos, the TV echos throughout the house and you can't watch both TVs at the sametime as they are like 10ft from one another. Would be great to have one of the TVs in a bedroom so a person could have a tv for the kids and one for adults. The kitchen could use a few more essentials (potato pillar, pitcher for drinks) A grill on the back patio would be great. This house is about a mile from the grocery store and a small lake some people were fishing at. Also, located close to the 1880 train and downtown Hill City in a quiet neighborhood.
