Although the gym in the property is much smaller than other resorts/hotels in the similar price ranges, all other things are great.

We loved our stay at the Whaler. The access to the beach and the village could not have been easier. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will be back!

Great location!

Perfect location on the beach and close to restaurants and shops. With little kids, it was super convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall a very comfortable stay.

The weather was horrible so proximity to Whalers Village was perfect! Very friendly staff. Very quiet with a beautiful view.

Better than expected view, updated furnishings, great location on the beach

We loved both the green mountain view and the ocean view off the wrap around lanai. Unit had updated furnishings and functional full kitchen. We enjoyed the pickle ball courts and being right on the beach. Beautiful grounds and great unit.

Perfect Place

Our beautiful condo included a view of the beach as well as a view of the mountains. It was perfect for two couples or a family! We could have used a few more towels and washcloths so we didn’t have to wash every day, but otherwise, it was perfect!

This 2 bedroom two bath condo on the 5th floor was a perfect get away. A great view of the ocean and the beautiful mountain. Could not have been better. The place had every thing that you could need.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic stay at this unit a few weeks ago. The unit is large (looked like it consists of two combined units), well-appointed, and in the best location in Kaanapali. The wrap-around balcony was fantastic. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!

Amazing

This property was perfect for our family of 6. It was in a perfect location on Ka”anapali beach. The property had amazing views of the sunrise, sunset, the ocean and the mountains. The property came with everything we needed to cook and for a day on the beach.

Wonderful vacation at The Whaler, Kaanapali!

The Whaler at Kaanapali is a beautiful, well maintained, centrally located condominium complex. Our unit was exactly as advertised in the photos. Very clean, well stocked, and friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend The Whaler, and we will definitely be back. Mahalo!!

Girls trip with 6 of us

Beautiful unit with plenty of room. Did a girls trip with 6 of us and never felt crowded at all. The wraparound deck is huge and the views from the massive deck are impressive! You get the sunrise and the sunset every day! Absolutely beautiful!!

Wonderful trip!

Very clean. View is spectacular. Pool is great for adults but not really for children. I would rent this property again. If you plan to cook meals you’ll need to buy spices, oil etc. only stocked with salt/pepper packets.

The perfect condo for a family trip to Maui

The space is very comfortable and well thought out. The balcony looping around the entirety of the unit was our favorite. Even with some rain we were able to sit outside and enjoy both the view of the mountains and the beach. it felt very safe. You had everything you might need even if you didn't feel like getting in the car, with Whaler's Village a short walking distance around the corner. The Xplorie partnership is incredible. We really enjoyed booking our excursions through them!

Stay here!

The condo is even better than the listing says. You are right at the resort in a prime location, in the middle of the beach. This area had a nice breeze. The condo is BIG and clean. Has chairs, umbrella, boogie board too! We arrived late and check in is 24/7. There is a security guard to let you in to parking lot- he had our name and check in was seamless. After a LONG travel day, this was amazing!

A home away from home

The VRBO booking and payment process was a breeze. The Whaler is a fantastic complex in the center of Kaanapali Beach. Our unit was clean and spacious. We had a problem with the refrigerator but it was taken care of very promptly. The WiFi signal was weak and did not reach the master bedroom. Perhaps a WiFi extender in the master bedroom will solve this issue. There was an appropriate amount of plates, cups, glasses and basic cookware. Would have been nice to have some covered food storage containers with lids. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to this beautiful island.

FANTASTIC!!!

THIS WAS OUR FIRST VISIT TO HAWAII. WE COULDN'T HAVE CHOSEN A MORE PERFECT CONDO. WE PARTICULARILY ENJOYED THE LARGE LANAI AND BREATH TAKING OCEAN VIEW. WE WERE ABLE TO WATCH THE WHALE ACTIVITY EVERY MORNING, WHICH WAS WONDERFUL. ALSO IT WAS GREAT HAVING THE BEACH CHAIRS, UMBRELLA, ETC. THE CONDO WAS CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED. ABSOLUTELY WOULD TRY TO RENT THIS CONDO AGAIN. THANKS SO MUCH!!!
