We really enjoyed our stay! The house is adorable, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The location is great, just a short drive from town, making it convenient for exploring. The neighborhood is pretty quiet for the most part, which made enjoying coffee on the porch in the mornings very lovely. A few things to keep in mind if you’re visiting during snow or icy conditions: the road to the house is very steep, and the driveway is steep as well. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is definitely recommended, honestly probably required. I don’t think we would have made it up the street if we didn’t have it. It’s also a good idea to have a shovel or other means to clear ice, as one wasn’t provided on the property.Overall, a lovely stay, and we’d happily return.

Our Hot Springs trip fell on the first "fall" weather of the season with overcast dreary days and rain here and there. So this house made the perfect cozy spot to hang out. Sunny weather would have made the back deck enticing, but the covered front porch was a nice break from hiding from the cold breezes indoors. The beds are comfy. The 2 baths are super clean, recently updated, and plenty roomy. The beds are comfortable with spacious rooms. The sofa and chairs in the living room could be a bit more comfortable than they are, but it was a small detail. The home has a washer/dryer which could be useful for longer stays. The home is updated but kept the amazing old hardwood floors and charm of a forest bungalow within easy walking distance of downtown (under a mile). The booking and pre-check-in communications were detailed and well-organized. Due to our stay being a bit off-season, the owner granted a slightly early check-in which was appreciated. His response to the two emails sent before arriving were answered within a day. Definitely recommend for spring, summer, or fall for groups of 3 to 6 adults.

The home was in a great location, very convenient to downtown Hot Springs. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable, but one recommendation would be get living room furniture that is comfortable to sit on. The futon couch and 2 straight backed cushioned chairs were not very comfortable to sit/lay on. But overall, the stay was great, and it was nice to have access to a washer and dryer.

Great time in Hot Springs

We stayed 2 nights during our spring break. The house is clean and comfortable. The location is great for the activities we wanted to do. We walked the promenade and bathhouse row. Touched and tasted the water. We went gem mining, and went up the hot springs tower. We really enjoyed pizza from the Greatful Head. We could have stayed longer and done more! Our boys are 9 and 6 and had a great time. The beds are comfortable and we slept well. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location. Good communication. House was very roomy and had most of what was needed for a stay. Would have been a 5 except for musty smell and air conditioning not keeping us cool at night. There are small fans but they are in need of cleaning.

The home was beautiful. Thanks for allowing us to stay. There were still coffee grounds left in the coffee pot and there was a blanket piled up on the chest of drawers in the bedroom that wasn’t folded. Besides this everything was great!

Great weekend getaway close to the historic downtown.

Great hideaway close to the historic downtown area. The beds were so comfortable. Everything very clean. Evening on the porch was great. We will definitely come back to this property.

Not bad for the price. Area is a little sketchy. The #1 thing I would add is another couch and maybe even something a full size adult could sleep on.

Do not stay here on a ledge next to trash dump

This is a completely unsafe property for families. It is unsafe for small children. It is also next door to a garbage dump with chickens. It is located on a ledge with only a latch to secure the door. We did not stay here due to safety concerns!!! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Great location!

The house is a great location - within walking distance to the downtown Hot Springs area. The house was equipped sufficiently for us to make meals. We weren't sure about the neighborhood but had no issues. The heat was having a hard time keeping up with the freezing temps, but I surely can relate to that!! Good experience!

Horrible, nasty, meth neighborhood

For one there were still two men at the house when we were suppose to check in. Secondly it was nasty! There was food in the floor, food on the table, the coffee pot was nasty, there was hair in the fridge and in the beds, stains on the sheets, white stuff smeared on the couch. We then had to find somewhere else to stay but due to there being three events in the town the hotels were full. So we had to drive back home. And I haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone to get my money back!

Best time ever

When we first arrived went to check in, tried to unlock the door but of course we from Louisiana and didn’t know anything about the lock they had so we definitely can not blame the landlord for the way we tried unlocking the door, they tried explaining to us guess we are just dingy, but anyway had to get the landlord to come out to show us how to get in, he came and showed us, after that it was smooth sailing. We couldn’t ask for any better we really had a blast just wish we had more time to stay so we could have shopped around a few days. Thank you so very much for everything we really loved the house we stayed in, it was totally awesome, we will surely pick your place again when we get to come back which we are hoping it’s soon.
