We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. The apartment was cozy, clean and updated. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in (very important to me, as I’m a foodie!). The location was nicely tucked away from the main stretch, but close enough that we could walk into the town square within about 10-12 minutes. We absolutely will be back!

We have stayed at this property for several years. It is pet friendly and within walking distance to the town center.We usually stay at a ground level unit but changed this year. The apartment was much nicer with two master bedrooms and a big living room with a gas fireplace.There was a fairly steep staircase that I was aware of but it was a little difficult to carry heavy luggage up. It was a wonderful space and we will return next year!

Weekend get away

I cannot say enough good things about Jeffery. There was a hiccup with our reservation and when he caught it he went above and beyond to fix it. We became fast friends lol. Very knowledgeable about Jim Thorpe and made was accessible for our needs. So happy we got to share one of our favorite places with our kids. We can’t wait to come back!

The apartment is very nice and quaint! Great location right on Broadway. Jeff and Chad are friendly and very helpful as well! Would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Away

Our second stay at your wonderful apartment. The check in process is so easy and the apartment is within walking distance of everything in Jim Thorpe. This is a great place for two couples to have a great weekend. Lots of fun things to do in Jim Thorpe!!

Weekend Away

We had a great time in Jim Thorpe. The Apt was Spacious and very well kept. Everting we needed was there at our disposal. The owner and Caretaker were very Hospitable and Kind. WE would definitely stay there again.Thanks for the stay Jeffery and Chad.

Girls Weekday Stay

We are 4 high school friends who are retired and like to get together periodically for a girls’ “weekend”. Two live in NEPA and two of us live in the Carlisle, PA area so we wanted to find a place in the middle. The apartment was perfect! It was very clean, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace was great as we were there for a couple of rainy days! The Christmas trees and other decorations added a wonderful Holiday touch! Jim Thorpe is a very lovely town (even in the rain!) and we enjoyed our stay. The train ride and the trolley ride were great! Wonderful restaurants and very friendly people! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Girls weekend

My friends and I spent the weekend celebrating our 50th birthdays. The house was perfect. Great location and easy communication before and during our trip. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area again.

Another Fun Stay

We are repeat guests at the apartment and just love it. It's a perfect location in Jim Thorpe, and having a parking spot is wonderful if you decide to drive to local attractions in the area. The owners decorate the apt according to the season which is a really nice touch. They are great owners and we will definitely return.

Charming Restored Property in Historic Neighborhood

Jeffrey and Chad were very responsive before and during our visit with answers to our questions and making recommendations for activities and meals.  On arrival, Lexie was very helpful carrying our luggage up the 20 stairs to the lovely apartment and Chad helped us on our departure.  We thoroughly enjoyed the clean, extremely spacious, nicely furnished and renovated apartment, with comfortable bedding, a well equipped kitchen, and a great shower.  The festive seasonal and Halloween decorations were an added touch. Jim Thorpe has an amazing community of small merchants who support and encourage each other, creating a unique experience.  We'd highly recommend our family and friends to stay at the High Street Guesthouse for a memorable stay.

Great accommodations

Lots of space, beautifully decorated, very clean with parking included! Great communication and excursion tips. Location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. Planning on staying again!

I loved this apartments and its location just steps away from the main drag through town and local hot spots. From good restaurants to music and arts to hiking and shopping it’s all there at your fingertips. The apartment was the perfect place to relax and reflect on the days activity. We loved the smart tv and WiFi was fast. The innkeeper was thoughtful and responsive. I 100% recommend a stay here.

Perfect apartment, thoughtful touches!

We had an amazing long weekend in Jim Thorpe at High Street Guest House! Plenty of space, huge bedrooms, wonderful daylight throughout. Kitchen & bath were perfectly equipped. Innkeeper Chad was available to assist with a few quick questions which was much appreciated. 4 adults & a brittany loved everything about the stay and hope to return soon!

I am drawn to Jim Thorpe and to the Pocono's in general and am very glad to live in this amazing town surrounded by the ever changing Appalachian landscape. You cannot beat the endless miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, or the tubing, kayaking, skirmish, yoga, skiing, rivers, lakes, and fishing or the cultural and historical attractions. So close to the major east coast cities, yet worlds away!

This magical historical (pre-civil war) building was originally an armory and later in the 1800's it was a boarding house. In recent years, it was remodeled into separate apartments in the 1980s. Since 2017, each apartment was remodeled and updated to have all of the modern conveniences and comforts of home.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Located directly across the street from the Old Jail Museum and a 2 to 6 minute walk to the other attractions, bars and restaurants.

The COVID 19 sanitation process involves washing every single thing that is washable, and for things that aren’t washable, such as furniture and curtains, we use a chemical disinfectant ( Lysol) followed by high temperature steam sanitizers. The high temperature steam provide an extra level of sanitation. We have a very involved and intricate sanitization and sterilization process and the place is most definitely sanitary!

We are super serious about keeping ourselves and every single one of our guests safe and healthy… We take no chances!
