Perfect location

The inside is nicer than the photographs. The location is perfect, we loved how the back of the property backed up to the woods. The deck had awesome views. We would stay here again!

Great location! Cute and cozy.

This is a very cute and cozy cabin. The location is awesome, it feels very secluded but is close to town. We found the beds to be uncomfortable but it was clean and served our needs for our stay.

Cozy winter cabin

This was our second stay at this cabin, and it was just as peaceful and relaxing as the first time. We love the location! Lots of snow this year! A great place to relax and reset. We will definitely be coming back.

Private, peaceful mountain getaway

We loved this property and our stay! The spacious house is tucked into the woods and offered all the amenities and supplies we hoped for as well as a quiet escape. The grill and firepit on the back deck were ideal for evening relaxing. The host was available if needed and checked in on us via text the day we arrived, but we had everything we needed.

Tahoe Cabin close to Sierra-at-Tahoe

This cabin was even better in person than in the listing. Great location and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. We had to leave one day early due to the incoming blizzard, but would have loved to stay longer. We'll look into this cabin the next time we want to go to Sierra-at-Tahoe.

My family had amazing time! Cozy and clean home! Great location! Beds were comfy, house clean, check in/check out easy, very responsive and helpful! Amazing back deck with BBQ, fire pit, & outdoor furniture! Home has everything you need to be comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Clean, Quiet, Peaceful

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to relax with beautiful mountain scenery, look no further. Our adult family of four was easily accommodated with room to spare. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked with cookware to prepare meals, front and back deck with seating and propane fire place (need burn permit). Perfect location for access to Desolation Wilderness, Emerald Bay, and South Tahoe. Overall, wonderful place to relax and unwind!

We had a lovely stay and a white Christmas! The cabin is so inviting, well kept, and well decorated. Exactly as described in the listing. Plenty of room for our family to sleep. Beds were comfortable, and extra bedding provided in case you are cold at night! The host communicated very well and made sure to have shovels and salt available for the snow. Highly recommend

South Lake Tahoe Weekend

Property was outstanding, inside and out. We own a cabin in Utah, and can only hope to fix ours up as nice as this property. It included everything we needed and expected from an amenities perspective, especially in the kitchen. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect-close to the Lake yet very private and quiet. It was the perfect way for us to get our adult kids to join their Mom, Dad, and Gramma for the weekend!

Roomy Cabin in Quiet Area

This is a great cabin with all the amenities needed for a family reunion or get together. The to floor has ample room with two beds and multiple couches. We only had two upstairs and with bath and fireplace works nice as a Master, but you could put kids up there too and use the downstairs rooms close to kitchen. Lots of kitchen tools, wine glasses and games available too. Very roomy, so rent here and enjoy!

Cozy Tahoe house w/deck

We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful well kept cabin! The cabin is well decorated, bear totems, nice energy with high wood ceilings. The location is great, a quick drive to the activities in S. Lake Tahoe. We came during Labor Day weekend so balancing the crowds/traffic made this cabin delightful to return to each night and wake up to every morning. The cozy fireplace, the deck overlooking the forest and all the nice glasses to use for wine/beer made us all happy. Thank you to the owners! Namaste

Summer week

We had a great week here. The house was tucked away in the back corner of the neighborhood and backed up to forest, so it felt very private. It was more than enough space for the 4 of us, including our teenage daughter and her friend. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. Rebecca, the host was proactive in communications for check in and check out and very responsive with the 1 question I had during our stay.

Fabulous Cabin in beautiful Christmas Valley

We had the best family time in this beautiful cabin away from the South Lake Tahoe crowds yet close to the Heavenly Ski resort. This cabin is fabulous for little children who can just step out the back porch for a little snow play in the forested area behind the house. The kitchen is well stacked and the bedrooms are comfortable. The big upstairs loft is perfect for the family to play and sleep. We did not have 4-wheel drive vehicles but were lucky enough with the weather and our timing to not get stuck. Definitely would be a plus to have a 4-wheel drive for the hilly drive way. Owner is very responsive for any questions. Thank you!

Great winter retreat

Lovely cabin. Fantastic for morning breakfast before a day on the slopes and a welcome destination after your done. Plenty of kitchen for meal prep. Sits on a quite corner of the neighborhood and backs up to the forest service land. You could throw on snowshoes and take off on an adventure right off the deck if you needed a break from skiing. Or enjoy the living room with family by the fireplace and watch a movie or play games. We loved this place and will come back again.

Excellent cabin for a base to ski Tahoe and Kirkwood. Would stay here again in a heart beat

Everything was as advertised on VRBO. Excellent contact with Rebecca for any questions. Lovely quiet cabin, warm and cozy, beds slept well, great kitchen with plenty of cooking space and dining. Comfortable living room to enjoy a movie or games after a fun day on the slopes. Definitely on our do again spots.

The perfect little getaway!

Stepping into the cabin you instantly feel right at home! The living spaces can host a small group, the beds and linens are very comfortable and the two bathrooms are just enough. Our host was incredibly helpful — making sure the driveway was plowed for our stay after a very large storm, and saw to it that the porch was salted to avoid icing. The only warning I would give guests is *make sure you have 4wheel drive* if you’re going in the winter! We stayed during the largest snow storm in 50 years (so this may be a differing-experience) but the neighborhood was not well plowed and it did make getting in and out (without 4wheel drive) quite an adventure! That being said, the neighborhood and the cabin are a wonderful winter escape — idyllic.

Great cabin for a family getaway

The cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy with plenty of space for our family to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked so we could do our BBQ's and make breakfasts. The decks in front and out back were wonderful and the surrounding area is beautiful and quiet yet still close to other Tahoe sights. The hosts were great and very accommodating.. We hope to return again soon!

Cozy, cute, and clean cabin close to Lake Tahoe

We loved our time at this property. Very close to South Lake Tahoe, but awesome views of forest that backs up to the property. We had everything we needed and it was very peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommend this place!
