Great Location

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood. I loved going for walks in the morning and saw many deer. The unit was well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was just a short drive to New Braunfels.

Hill Country Cottage checked all our boxes!

My husband and I stayed 2 weeks at this charming place. It was clean, quiet, and very well equipped. We frequently saw deer wondering around. The host lives on the property and respected our privacy, but was available if we needed her. We definitely would stay at this beautiful location again!

Peaceful and quiet

This was our second time staying at the Hill Country Home Apartment. Both times the apartment was clean, well stocked & well maintained. The host was unfailingly responsive to our needs. The location is remote and private, and deer frequently can be seen on the grounds. We definitely will stay here again.

Quiet Location Close to Town

The apartment is cute, well stocked with all the necessities and then some. I love the location…..down a quiet lane and tucked back into the trees. My morning walks were peaceful. There were quite a few deer to see. It was roughly a quick 15 minutes and I could be to New Braunfels.

Perfect!

This place was absolutely prefect for my family! It is small but the way they set up the space was great. At 1 point my daughter, husband and myself were doing hair and makeup in the bathroom without stumbling over eachother while my son played outside on the swings. My kids have asked to stay here again the next time we're in town visiting family. The fully set up kitchen was a major bonus!

Just the right amount....

For my birthday I decide to spend it with my dog just enjoying the outdoors and quiet time. I found just that at this property. The home was super clean and the space was just right for me. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The bed was heaven! My dog loved exploring the property. I loved the swings and fire pit on the cool nights. Just the right amount of seclusion and close to civilization if you want to join the world. The host was also super nice!

Perfect little place

My husband and I just helped move our daughter here from Michigan. This place was the perfect little place for us to stay for a few days to help her get settled in her new apartment. Our host Melissa was the best! She made sure we had everything we needed, she also made suggestions of great restaurants and places to check out in the area since this was our first time here! It’s such a clean, cute place that is a short drive away from the city in your own seclusion with nature. A family of deer crossed our driveway while we were sitting outside and around the corner, down the road we saw steer and donkeys. It’s funny to hear the donkeys in the morning in the distance along with the roosters lol Thank you again Melissa, we would love to stay again at your place when we come to visit our daughter.

This place is: So cute - wonderful interior design and furnishings Cozy and quiet A wonderful bed that allowed us to sleep for 9/10 hours each night Great air conditioning Lots of little delights - bath products, coffees, cream….. Wonderful place!

My two teenagers and I stayed here for a visit with some friends in the area. This little cottage is absolutely beautiful! The owner has great style and taste. It was plenty spacious for the three of us. The decor was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need, and then some! The property was very private, and the fire pit area was perfect. The owner was absolutely wonderful, providing great communication and everything we needed for a perfect stay. We will definitely be back here! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

A Necessary get-away!

My best friend's husband needed her out of the house for a weekend so he could do some intensive studying for an exam. So she asked me if I would go on a weekend trip with her and her 1 year old and 4 year old. So of course, I said YES! This property was PERFECT for us. Super clean, super cute in how it was decorated, the yard was fantastic including the fire pit to roast smores, and it was just the right distance be "outside of town" but close to a couple of attractions we wanted to see and do! I HIGHLY recommend this property! Melissa, the host, was fabulous as well!

Lovely short stay

Thank you for a comfortable stay at your clean and cozy property. The little thoughtful touches throughout the rooms were very charming. It was wonderful to see the deers in the backyard and my little one enjoyed lazing on the hammock under the trees. We also had fun roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit.

Just what the Dr ordered

We really enjoyed our time here, and we're sad to leave. Everything was nice and clean, and the location was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The fire pit and smores care package left for us were the icing on top. We definitely recommend staying here

Cute cottage and delightful owner, but...

Nothing negative about this apartment or owner. Clean, well-managed, and lots of little details that made our stay very enjoyable. My only issue has to do with the management company, Evolve. On a previous booking this past summer, when using a rental due to Corona virus was impossible, they refused to provide a refund. Citing their no cancellation policy at anytime for any reason. We could only get credit. In addition, they have a number of fees added on to the listed price. For example, a non refundable daily insurance policy for damage. Not a refundable security deposit like most companies. To all renters considering this company, read the fine print. I booked this property just to use up my credit with Evolve, but won't use them in the future.

Wonderful and relaxing rental!

Easy booking and quick correspondence back/forth with any pre-booking questions. The rental was easy to find and in a nice little getaway location away from the hustle and bustle of town. All amenities were just as described. Rental was clean and perfectly decorated. Everything was super comfy from the bed to the bathroom towels. The kitchen was also fully stocked with anything you needed to cook (minus the food) and prepare meals. I overpacked just to be safe and ended up not needing to utilize anything I brought. It was awesome! The deer in the morning and evening to watch was also nice! The homeowners were also very kind, even brought us some delicious sweet tea to enjoy. We very much enjoyed our stay. 5 stars all around!
