Idyllic stay in rural house just minutes from Ciutadella

The house sits in idyllic orchards and a beautifully kept garden. The smell of orange blossom was everywhere. And two of the bedrooms open out directly onto this lovely scene, while the upstairs bedroom and adjoining further bedroom and bathroom were ideal for my daughter and granddaughter. We opted for the safety fence around the pool which was hugely reassuring with a toddler in tow. We also lit the amazing fire in the open dining room and enjoyed fresh dorada from the beautiful green tiled market in Ciutadella. Five minutes drive into the town with all its winding streets and waterside restaurants, yet we were right in the countryside surrounded by the local stone walled orchards and fields. The host Ramon was very helpful and answered any queries straightaway by text message. We loved it

Torre Villa - Beautiful, Peaceful, Relaxing, Ideal

Torre Villa is idyllic. Myself and family stayed there in June 2018 and had a superb holiday. It is secluded, for perfect peace and quiet, but not isolated. A car is very useful, but the Villa is only a pleasant 10 minute country walk to the main road - the ME24 - where you can catch a bus to numerous locations including Cala'n Bosch and Ciutadella. Cala'n Bosch has a lovely harbour surrounded by quality Restaurants, beach, waterpark and numerous attractions including a lighthouse. We enjoyed both breakfast and evening meal in several cafes around the Harbour. Our two sons also really enjoyed numerous accompanied rides out on the Jetskis which can be hired in Cala'n Bosch Harbour. We also enjoyed some beach time and lovely evening meals in Cala Blanca, which is only about 2 Kilometers from Torre Villa. Ciutadella is the old Capital and has loads of shops and restaurants. It is steeped in history with a museum, and also has a beautiful harbour. Just watch the parking near the harbour - I picked up a £60 parking fine there ( no English warning signs ). We have stayed in numerous Villas, but Torre Villa is by far the best we have ever stayed in. It has everything needed for a perfect stay. The bedrooms are all ensuite with lovely decor and extremely comfortable. The lounge is very large with numerous comfy seats and a large satellite colour television. Wi-Fi is also available. The kitchen is large and fully equiped. Outside the pool is very big, cool and inviting, with lovely views from the terrace, and the grounds are massive with orange and lemon groves. There are many birds including a family of owls, which at night can be seen flying in and out of a large illuminated tree near the terrace. There are also many small bats flying around at night, and we spotted a couple of tortoises in the heat of the day. In addition there are horses and ponies in the fields adjoining the Villa grounds, which we really enjoyed as we have ponies ourselves. In addition the owner, Ramon, is a lovely gentleman who is really happy to help in any way he can to ensure you have the perfect holiday. He speaks several languages and is always quickly approachable by email, text or telephone. He always responds quickly and really does go out of his way to help. He helped us enormously, for which we are most grateful. Altogether a beautiful villa in a perfect, relaxing, peaceful location. We will definitely be returning in 2019.

Beautiful country finca

Ramons villa is beautiful, tucked away in the countryside, but only a 2km from ciutadella. The villa is spacious, the drive and grounds large and stunning to look out on each day Everything needed is there. The pool is large and lovely. We asked for the pool guards to be fitted for the children's safety, and are pleased we did, the pool is quite deep and the kitchen and lounge open straight on to it. The oranges weren't ripe when we were there, but we did pick a couple of apples, and walked the grounds to see the resident Cockerell and horses. Ramon is very communicative and happy to share helpful knowledge. Worth noting there are fans but no aircon, and if, like us, you choose not to hire a car, the distance to the refuse bin drop off is not practical , particularly in the heat. Probably the most beautiful villa we have stayed in.

Beautiful

We've just returned from a wonderful stay at Torre Villa. The villa is spacious, traditional and well equipped. There are two bedrooms upstairs in the main villa, which have a shared bathroom making it suitable for being in close proximity to our son. The other two bedrooms are accessed on the ground floor outside and are more modern with lovely shower rooms. The pool area is incredible, there are lots of sun loungers and outdoor furniture on the terrace which overlooks an orchard. The grounds are beautiful and it's so peaceful. We requested a pool fence as we had our young son with us, and Ramon was really helpful in recommending a local car hire company for us. Please bear in mind that this villa does not have air conditioning, but we didn't find this an issue as we had fans and the villa was cool inside anyway. The location is near to some beaches and only a short drive to the beautiful Old Town of Ciutadella. I would definitely recommend this villa!

Nice family holiday

A lovely well looked after villa away from main holiday hustle and bustle. Ideal for children with fenced off pool and lovely garden with loads of orange trees. We had freshly squeezed juice every day. Excellent service from both the owner Ramon and also the caretakers Robin and Nicole who met us at the villa when we arrived to show us around. Villa is well equipped with everything you need. A car is essential although it’s only about 15 minutes into Ciutadella which is a lovely place to visit. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Binebequer is also well worth a visit despite being at the other end of the island. It’s a throwback to how Menorca used to be with lovely whitewashed houses. All in all a lovely time.

Stunning Surroundings

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. The grounds are absolutely stunning and it is so peaceful. The pool is a great size too. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need. The surrounding resorts and towns were very quiet at this time of year which was a bit sad but we certainly didn’t complain about the quiet beaches. Menorca is beautiful, we shall definitely return again.

Ein super Urlaub in einem fantastischen Haus!

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und hat einen wunderbaren, sehr weitläufigen Garten/Park mit Orangen- und anderen Obstbäumen, auf den man von der Terrasse aus blickt. Der überdachte Grillbereich mit sich anschließender Terrasse und Pool ist perfekt, um gemeinsam die Mahlzeiten zu verbringen und im Schatten entspannt die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Der eingezäunte Pool ermöglicht entspanntes Schwimmen und Planschen auch mit kleinen Kindern. Sogar aufblasbares Schwimmspielzeug war vorhanden, sodass die Kinder noch mehr Spass beim Baden hatten. Der Pool war sehr sauber und wurde regelmäßig professionell gereinigt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig: zwei der vier Schlafzimmer liegen separat und haben jeweils ein eigenes Badezimmer – sehr praktisch für den Urlaub mit mehreren Parteien. Wir verbrachten den Urlaub mit unseren zwei kleinen Töchtern, meinen Eltern und der Familie meines Bruders (einjähriges Kind) und hatten ausreichend Platz für alle. Die Kinder genossen das weitläufige Grundstück sehr, und selbst gegen Ende des zweiwöchigen Urlaubs gab es dort immer noch Neues für sie zu entdecken. Der tolle Pool war ebenfalls ein Favorit, so dass es uns nicht zwingend immer an den Strand gezogen hat. Im Umkreis von 20 Auto-Minuten gibt es natürlich auch tolle Strände zu entdecken. Vermieter Ramon ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen, unsere Fragen im Vorfeld der Buchung zu beantworten, und uns Empfehlungen zu Stränden, Restaurants etc. gegeben. Die Verwalter vor Ort waren ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit und sofort an Ort und Stelle, als wir eine Frage hatten. Wir sind begeistert und haben einen wunderbaren Familien-Urlaub in Ramons Haus genossen. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Magnifique!!!!!!

Maison magnifique, très propre et fonctionnelle. Piscine et jardin magnifiques aussi, extrêmement bien entretenus . Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Torre-Villa et nous espérons avoir la chance d'y séjourner de nouveau un jour.

Torre Villa was delightful. On arrival we were met by the agent; the villa was spotlessly clean. The very large gardens were a delight and included orange trees that provided fresh orange juice each morning. The villa was quiet and secluded. There were 2 terraces providing ample space for the whole family and the swimming pool was ideal. Shops, a pleasant beach with a few bars and restaurants were close at about 2 miles away. We would recommend Torre-Villa for a family holiday and may return.

A wonderful property

We stayed at the Torre-Villa and had a lovely week. The property is off the beaten track, so feels very secluded and peaceful. No noise or light pollution at all. The pool is also fenced making life with toddlers much easier. The property is in good condition and the bedrooms spacious. The real gem of this property though for me is the grounds on which the villa is situated. Large well kept gardens, perfect for children to run around in. I would certainly come again on another trip to the wonderful island of Menorca.

A lovely villa

The villa was lovely , it was very clean . The pool was a good size and enough chairs and sun beds . We had a few good bbqs . The land around it was good for exploring with the children . The only down side was that it was to far to walk to the shops or beach .

Lovely villa with great pool in peaceful location

We stayed here for one week last year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was absolutely beautiful and we loved our visit. The villa is in a quiet area but just a short drive from local resorts and Ciutadella which is a large town (City) and lovely to visit at night. The kids really enjoyed the pool, particularly the shed full of inflatables. It is a good sized and there are plenty of sun lounges to laze around on. The villa was well equipped and the BBQ area in the dining room was a nice feature. We were a group of 8 and the villa was very spacious and we did not feel cramped at all. The villa is also split which is ideal for large groups and families. The gardens were huge and there are lots of orange trees and fruit trees. We even found a tortoise roaming around the grounds. There are horses opposite which are a friendly sight in the morning and always neighed when we turned up. The living room is nice and cosy and the large opening doors to the outside area meant if the weather was a bit grey we could still enjoy being inside. We liked the villa so much we have just re-booked for October again this year. The pictures do not do this villa justice and I overlooked it several times when we have booked others (as we come regularly to the island). I am however very glad that we booked as it far excelled our first impressions and we think the villa and grounds are wonderful and well worth visiting. Sue Shears (England)

Torre Villa - Excellent

We stayed at the Villa for 2 weeks in July 2016. There were 8 of us; the youngest, 15. The villa had more than enough space for us both inside and out; plenty of wardrobe storage and enough space to get away from those in the party that are getting on your nerves, including a beautiful garden / orchard and large swimming pool. The villa is very well equipped, to the extent that I managed to watch the British Open via an internet streaming service. Now you are probably thinking it was the rest of the party that needed the space to get away from me! The location was ideal for us being a very short drive from Cuitadella, where we ate out most evenings. On the occasions we ate in the BBQ / kitchen easily catered for the 8 of us. Menorca is only a small island and most places can be reached within an hour, however the villa is in very close proximity some very picturesque beaches.

Our unforgetable holiday at Torre Villa, Menorca

We really had an exellent holiday at Torre Villa. We received the house from the caretaker in a nice and clean condition. The house was super for our big family, 8 adults and we really enjoyed the huge swimming pool. The place is nice and quiet on the country side and super for relaxing. Even though close to shopping and hypermarket. The house fulfilled fully our expectations and we can only give our best recommendations.

A great family holiday

A superb stay for our family of 8 adults and 2 small grandchildren. Each family had their own accommodation that was well maintained and when on a Sunday we discovered a fan was broken, it was replaced within an hour! Pool was great for all ages and gated - a must with small children (3 and 21 months). Only 2 km from a great supermarket and a few Kim's from many beaches, restaurants in the old fashioned city of Cuidella. The owner before arrival was wonderful in answering all our questions and helpful all the way through from booking to leaving. The kids really enjoyed themselves which meant so did we. fantastic spacious house with beautiful gardens.

We had an amazing holiday! The house is spacious, clean and everything you need for all the family. Our children loved the swimming pool and the beautiful gardens, orchard and football on the huge lawn. In the evenings the view off terrace of the lit up palm trees and gardens is gorgeous. The children loved the horses in the neighbours field. Just one mile from the beach and pretty cove of sardinia, great location.

Great villa, wonderful gardens.

Not sure if the pictures really do this villa justice. The garden is spectacular, huge pine and palm trees on a lovely lawn, and rows and rows of orange, peach and lemon trees. The villa is lovely inside and ciutedella is less than 10 mins by car. The villa is out in the countryside so no bars or restaurants within short walking distance but the garden is so nice that you don't really miss it. Ramon was really helpful organising our stay and somebody was there to meet us at the villa despite our late arrival.

Not sure if the pictures really do this villa justice. The garden is spectacular, huge pine and palm trees on a lovely lawn, and rows and rows of orange, peach and lemon trees. The villa is lovely inside and ciutedella is less than 10 mins by car. The villa is out in the countryside so no bars or restaurants within walking distance but the garden is so nice that you don't really miss it.

Since its construction in 1982 Torre Vila has been in the family for 2 generations and continuous renovations/improvements are being made whenever needed to make the house a more comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. The site itself goes back many centuries with some recorded signs of very early prehistoric activity. It also features one of the oldest watermills and irrigation systems on Menorca. I have been coming to Menorca for more than 40 years and can honestly say that during all those it has still managed to retain its original charm as unspoilt island with its beautiful beaches. I can recommend walking the beautifully restored Cami de Cavalls, which is the original horse track around the island.
