This is our third visit to this particular condo. It earns a well-deserved five-star rating for its seamless blend of convenience, location, and comfort. Plus the host is amazing! We enjoyed an easy check-in and checkout process. Its prime location right on the beach as well as the stunning views of Banderas Bay are major highlights for us. It offers a resort feel with a beautiful pool and easy access to the beach and yummy local restaurants. We highly recommend this condo and this host!

Incredible stay. Only wish it could have been longer…well stocked kitchen, bathroom, bed. The bed was so comfortable…gorgeous location right facing the ocean. I will definitely go back….

We had a great stay and it was perfect for what we needed. The condo was nice, clean, and very convenient, with a lovely balcony and ocean view. The kitchen was well-equipped, and overall amenities were great. This area isn't the most equipped - not many food options and not much to do if you can't Uber out... But perfect for people looking for a relax and do nothing trip. There were a few minor issues worth noting for future guests:The shower runs intermittently (water turns off for a few minutes, then comes back on — repeatedly throughout the shower).The A/C stopped working the second night, though it seemed like a building issue rather than the unit itself.The door key takes a little finesse — some jiggling and maneuvering are needed to get it to work.None of these were deal-breakers, and the positives far outweighed the inconveniences. We’d happily stay again!

Perfect escape

Beautiful condo, grounds and building in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the oceanview patio, beach walks, palapas and recommended restaurants. Just what we needed!

Playa Royale

Beautifully decorated seventh floor “studio“ with much space and magnificent views of Banderas Bay. Great location and with possible access to El Tigre sports club, it is a wonderful stay in Nuevo Vallarta.

Loud noise 15 hours a day.

Building one at Playa Royale used to be a delightful and quiet place to relax. The hard rock Hotel is building close by and The Construction begins at 7:30 AM and stops at 5:30 PM. That is when the parties and weddings start next-door with loud music and light shows until 10 PM. The condo unit is also tired and has not been updated. The sofa reminds me of my days at 22 years old when we couldn’t afford to purchase new furniture. It needs updating and a deep cleaning. The condo was insufficiently stocked for guest. A 2 1/2 inch bar of soap, A quarter roll of toilet paper, A small tiny bottle of shampoo are not enough for guests to make it to a grocery store. We have been staying at Playa Royale in building one for the past 18 years and this was our most disappointing experience.

Beautiful Playa Royale never disappoints! Well equipped and comfortable. Hosts were great and let us check in early. The ocean view is spectacular. Would not hesitate to book this unit again

Paradise on the beach

Me and my Sweetheart enjoyed a relaxing week in this spacious comfortable well appointed studio. A Very quiet area with pristine grounds and well-maintained pools. I will definitely be back.

Another Great Stay

Second time to this condo and over 30 trips to Mexico. It would be hard to find a better view or a better beach. We rented bikes for a few days and cruised up and down the bike path to Bucerias. We spent hours on the beach in the chairs provided by Barb. We had the whole beach to ourselves just south of the condo. Everything was clean and well stocked and a great size for a couple.

So clean and quiet

My wife and I stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was perfect for us. We love the location because it was quiet, but we could take a taxi to the Malecón and enjoy that as well. The condo is as close to the beach with an amazing view as anyone in Puerto Vallarta. Owner was great about giving us suggestions and helping us as first time visitors. We would definitely return.

Playa Royale

We have stayed at Playa Royale several times. We love that it is close to everything we love in PV. Barbara’s condo is lovely and has the best view of the beach! She is very attentive if a need arises. Sunsets are amazing from the balcony! Oh…..let me add this…The bed has an amazing mattress!!!! We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Condo

The view from the condo was amazing. Everything was clean and in good condition. Easy walk to the grocery store, and they have a fantastic Farmers Market on Tuesdays very close to the property.

Linens

It is time for new sheets and towels! Our sheets had holes in them, the towels were thin. The kitchen faucet needs to be replaced. It was hard to get it to work and couldn’t find hot water.

Excellent studio on the beach

This was our second stay at this studio. It’s roomy, very clean, comfortable and great resort. Walking distance to everything. Barb is very easy to work with. We will definitely return.

Disappointed

My daughter and her family live in Puerto Vallarta, it was very important to me that they be able to come and spend time at the pool with us. When I first booked the owner told me that was permitted and it was not. I would not have stayed here if I had known that. She said she did not know and perhaps she did not, the owners of the condo are allowed to have visitors but not if you're renting. In the ad it does say no children that's why I reached out to her and asked. Upon entering the condo the dishwasher was full, the coffee pot was dirty and when I turned down the bed there was sand on the sheets, a big yellow piece stain on the mattress pad and a large footprint on the duvet. I reached out to the owner with pictures and she apparently reached out to the staff and they admitted to not unloading the dishwasher and cleaning of the coffee pot but insisted the sheets were clean. So I felt like she did not believe me when I said there was sand in the sheets. My first instinct was to brush it off not to take a picture . She compensated me $75 but did not send anyone up to take care of the situation. Said she would take care of it when she came out and said there was a clean quilt in the closet. There were only three bath towels, three hand towels and four washcloths for five nights two people. Her instructions say to replace anything you use. No trash bags only the ones in the bins. My daughter brought over her air mattress with clean sheets and blankets and that's where I slept. The condo itself is a nice enough unit the management of it is poor. I can't say about the rest of the complex because I spent all my time with my family not at the resort. The wristband that I was given at check-in did not work so it took us a while to figure that out. Any other place that I have rented on VRBO has been more than adequate.

Great place

Frequent visitors to Nuevo and this was one of our favorites. Amazing sunsets from the balcony. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Condo was well equipped and very comfortable. We walked for miles on the beach and on the path out front every day. Easy to get to the grocery store and several great restaurants. Highly recommend. Thank you Barb for sharing your place with us. We have owned a different unit in this building since 2004. In fact, we were the 4th buyer in Tower 1, and have loved visiting and staying in Playa Royale. When presented an opportunity to purchase this unit from a dear friend, we jumped at the chance. What can beat the view from the 7th floor? And, we love the beach, beach club and Playa Royale amenities. Now, we'd like to share all this with our guests. Enjoy!
