Fantastic villa and wonderful hosts

I can't recommend this villa strongly enough, we've stayed a few times from when our children were very young to now being on the verge of teenagers. All the practical aspects are covered - the property is always meticulously clean, frequent towel changes and a fantastic welcome pack but it's the peace, pool and people that really make the holiday and I can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic Family Villa

We had a wonderful one week stay at Casa Fraqueza. Peter and Linda are fantastic hosts and were very easy to communicate with on the lead up to and throughout our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived to the most generous welcome pack, a real treat! The location of the villa is great, nearby to many great attractions but also off the beaten track for privacy and lovely views. The villa has everything you could want when on holiday, large bedrooms all with en-suites and fantastic pools. We would highly recommend this villa. Thanks again Peter and Linda x

Fantastic property, had everything you could possibly need. The pool area and gardens were just beautiful. As a family of 8 adults we had plenty of space to enjoy activities together but also plenty of areas if you just wanted to chill quietly by yourself. The villa is slightly off the beaten track which makes it very peaceful, we didn't hire a car to get about we used ubers and found this to be an easy way to get around. The hosts Peter & Linda were amazing they couldnt do enough for you and always on hand if any problems and the welcome pack they provide is 2nd to none. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return one day.

Home from home

Everything you need and more is in this villa waiting for you. A huge welcome pack of food to last you a couple of days. Amazing BBQ for first night including drinks. Although the villa is next to other properties it is still quiet. The local road can be heard but it doesn’t intrude too much. Peter and Linda work hard to make sure you have everything needed. We had fire wood and blankets as it turned chilly in the evenings which was a lovely touch. Don’t hesitate to book as you won’t be dissapointed. Thank you Peter and Linda for letting us use you beautiful villa. X

Casa Fraqueza

Casa Fraqueza is quite simply the best villa we have holidayed in. The property is everything as described and probably a bit more! The main pool was bigger than we expected and set in a lovely, colourful and spacious garden area. We made full use of the pool table and had the occasional game of table tennis. All the bedrooms are of a good size with ensuites, tv's and air conditioning. The lounge area is huge and furnished well and a good kitchen facility topped it off, not forgetting the BBQ and a big patio area for alfresco dining! Peter and Linda live close by but understand the need for guest privacy and were of great assistance when we needed them on a couple of occasions. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Casa Fraqueza to anyone and just hope that you enjoy your holiday as much as we did!

We felt at home from the minute we arrived - The lovely Peter greeted us and showed us around, and provided the most extensive welcome pack we have ever encountered. We were in the middle of Carveiro and Silves and enjoyed both towns. We didn’t bother with a car as uber is so cheap and was only ever a few minutes wait to go anywhere. No wondering where to park etc. so easy! We also used Uber eats to deliver groceries and freshly baked pastry etc The villa itself is perfect - impeccably clean. The pool is well heated and all the rooms have air con and also ceiling fans which I prefer to use. The WiFi speed was excellent - sadly work didn’t evade us so that was really helpful. There is a special restaurant a walk away too. We are looking forward to booking again. Thanks Peter and Linda.

Fabulous holiday at Casa Fraqueza.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Fraqueza. Peter and Linda are great hosts and from booking right through to our departure, nothing was too much trouble. Communication from Peter was brilliant (and hilarious at times!) The welcome pack and BBQ pack, which gets a mention in every review is like nothing we’ve experienced before in many years of villa holidays. Peter and Linda even bought some pizzas in for our hungry teenagers as we arrived late on our first night. The villa, pool and gardens are lovely with plenty of space for the eight of us and lots to do for everyone. The villa is quite near to the medieval town of Silves where there are some superb restaurants, shops a castle and cathedral. We visited Carvoeiro, Alvor and the nearby water park Slide and Splash which the kids loved. All in all a great holiday with friends and family with lovely hosts. Thank you Peter and Linda.

Très belle villa ! Les hôtes, Peter et Linda, sont très sympathiques, attentionnés et accueillants. La villa dégage une atmosphère particulièrement agréable et chaleureuse, idéale pour passer de très belles vacances en famille.Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et recommandons cette villa sans hésitation. The villa is lovely. All bedrooms are very spacious as is the living area and kitchen. It had everything you could ask for even including hair dryers in the bedrooms. The facilities outside were great and we made good use of the swimming pools, pool table and Petanque set and the occasional play on the badminton and basketball net. Peter kept in touch regularly up until the day we arrived and provided an amazing welcome back of groceries. The hosts were lovely and I would definitely recommend the villa to friends and family.

Excellent quality of property and amenities. Great pool. Owners are very nice and helpful. The BBQ/welcome kit that you can purchase is such a great idea. We had a wonderful stay with our family and in-laws. Everything was perfect! We highly recommend!

Wonderful villa lovely hosts fantastic welcome pack of food and drink fabulous fertilities

Great villa for families or groups of friends. Facilities were brilliant and very clean. Pool serviced daily and towel change mid week this included pool / beach towels too.

Perfect family villa!

Peter & Linda were so welcoming to us, a genuinely lovely couple. They work hard to make your stay great, thinking of every little detail you may need during your stay, including a very generous welcome basket! The villa was spotless and lovely and comfortable. We had 2 teenagers with us and there was stuff for them to do too like pool, table tennis, petanque, basket ball, footie etc. The pools are lovely and lots of nice shade if needed. The gardens are beautiful (including lovely, fresh limes off the trees to have with our rum & cokes!). Everything felt very relaxed and perfect for some family time. Silves is a short drive away with lots of lovely places to eat. All in all, could not fault our family holiday. Thank you so much!

perfect Villa 5*****

Excellent communication with the owners. Peter & Linda go out of there way to make you so welcome. The villa is fantastic in every detail. The welcome pack was amazing , as was the BBQ again organised by Peter & Linda .All the bedrooms are very well equipped and all have A/C . The pool is very safe for everyone including children of all ages. We hope to return one day .

Fabulous villa , wonderful hosts.

We had a wonderful week here with our children and grandchildren and couldn't have asked for more. The villa is stunning, very well appointed and equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and the pool area fabulous, with the added bonus of a child's pool for the little ones. Linda and Peter were perfect hosts - friendly, kind and always available if needed, but very unobtrusive. The welcome pack was a revelation - never had such a large and varied one before and we honestly could have avoided shopping for two days had we chosen to! The BBQ was wonderful too - great food, all prepared and ready to go, which was great after a day's travelling with little ones. We wouldn't hestitate to return and will be recommending to friends and family too. Thank you Linda and Peter for a wonderful holidays - many happy memories made.

A Little Piece of Heaven in the Algarve

A family group of 3 generations, we have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay at Casa Fraqueza. This beautiful villa is located in the heart of the Portuguese countryside with wonderful views across the valley. The villa is in an ideal location, close to a number of small towns, beaches and theme parks, all within a 15 - 20 mins drive. On arrival, we were given such a warm welcome by Peter and Linda who are exceptional hosts, extremely friendly and always on hand to offer recommendations for local places to eat and visit. They are truly a genuine and sincere couple who we now consider our friends. The extensive welcome pack, the best by far of any we’ve ever had, contained good quality produce and offered everything that you would require for the first few days without having to rush out to the supermarkets. We took advantage of the optional BBQ and found that once again the meat was of best quality and all accompanying salads, cheeses, pickles and desserts were delicious. Included with the BBQ were good quality wines and cold beers. Linda’s homemade bolognese was available for the children, again superb and went down a treat. The spacious hilltop villa is set in the most beautiful gardens. It is furnished to an exceptionally high standard, immaculately clean and feels like a home from home (could live there for ever!!!!) A really good sized kitchen is equipped with every gadget imaginable. I cooked a full Sunday lunch with ease as every utensil I needed was there. Both the adult and children’s pools and all paths are cleaned daily. For sun worshippers, there are plenty of comfortable sun beds and parasols and to relax around the pool a number of tables, chairs, double swing seat and a pool side bar, which was extensively used for afternoon 'happy hours'. The sports equipment for the children and adults again was superb. Peter and Linda encouraged us to use the in-season fruit from the orange and lime trees and salad vegetables from their garden. This was such a treat. The highlight for the children was undoubtedly the feeding of the chickens and guinea pigs in the pet garden. Something they are still talking about. A fabulous holiday in a stunning 5 star villa, topped off with beautiful and genuine owners, what more could you possibly want from your holiday. Thank you Peter and Linda, we will be back xxx Can’t recommend this villa highly enough, if there was a 10 star rating that’s what I would give it!!!!

Happy holiday

The owners , Linda and Peter, told us that making us feel at home was their major objective. They oversucceeded !! They are the perfect hosts providing us the pleasure of staying in a perfect villa. Clean, very spacious , luxurious and comfortable. The huge beautiful garden and the lovely heated pool were places you loved to stay. We have quite a bit of experience with holiday villa's, this was the best.

Perfect return visit....

We visited Casa fraqueza 5 years ago and vowed to return as we had such a good time. We returned this year and were not disappointed. The place is spotless, every detail is considered, not just the obvious things like clean bedding and towels, but every little detail, including an excellent welcome pack which when travelling with 4 children avoided the need to visit the supermarket for at least 24 Hours.... the pool is amazing and the grounds of the villa are maintained to a luxury standard with trees and plants adding to the beauty of the villa. The hosts, Pete and Linda obviously take pride in their accommodation and want you to be happy, which we were extremely! Hesitate to recommend this place as don’t want it to get booked up so we can’t go again! 😂 love it!

Holiday Heaven

Just returned from a weeks holiday at the villa which was amazing. The owners Peter and Linda are an absolute joy and were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble but they also did not intrude. The villa is well located for the various beaches and towns and was well decked out. The pool was amazing and used daily even on a couple of cloudy days when it turned a little nippy in the evening. Would definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastique villa - Hôtes adorables - Région à découvrir : Que du bonheur !

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve malgré une météo pas toujours clémente en cette dernière semaine d'octobre. Nous sommes passés d'un soleil rayonnant les 4 premiers jours ce qui nous a permis de profiter de la piscine chauffée à 27 et des transats à 3 jours plus frais ce qui nous a permis de découvrir d'autres choses. Nous avons profité des activités mises à disposition à la villa : billard, ping-pong, tir à la carabine, jeux divers... et également visité Silves, sa vieille ville, son chateau, ses restaurants, un tour en bateau dans les grottes de Carvoeiro à faire absolument... Nous avons adoré l'accueil chaleureux, le barbecue, les denrées mis à notre disposition, le vin excellent offert et la discrétion de nos Hôtes. Tout était absolument parfait, j'espère que nous pourrons y retourner en y réunissant toute la famille comme cela a pu être le cas car tout le monde a vraiment apprécié de 2 ans à 60 ans. Merci Linda, Merci Peter, vous êtes vraiment des hôtes formidables !
