Excellent experience

This area is idyllic! The house is well equipped and very accessible to beach and north to mid evil villages. The pool will make you want to stay at the house the whole day vs leave. Andrew was very responsive. We will be back again but next time for a longer stay.

Awesome villa near St. Maxime

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely villa. Andrew was a great host who went out of his way to make our stay most enjoyable. He also offered useful suggestions on what do to on our visit to the St Tropez area. The villa was well stocked. We enjoyed the beautiful patio, pool and pool bar. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful holiday

A beautiful villa. Excellent amenities. Well stocked kitchen, beautiful pool, gardens and separate outdoor catering area for those breakfast pancakes, crepes, barbecue and pizza. The owners were very welcoming and most helpful and approachable. Village outskirts location very handy for bakery and vineyard. Large supermarket not far away. Short trip to Ste Maxime and then onto Ste Tropez by boat. Lovely.

Lovely Villa, great location and excellent hosts

We had a lovely time at Villa Joya with our family of 2 adults and 4 children (all teens). The villa is spacious, the pool is large and the outdoor kitchen is terrific (Pizza Oven and BBQ were often used in the three weeks we were there). The villa is a short driving distance away from the centre of the charming village of Plan de la Tour with a number of really good restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. St Maxime is only 15 minutes away with access to the beaches and a wide variety of restaurants, markets and shops. The hosts were very helpful before and during our stay, offering tips and advice on where to go for great meals. A really nice time was had by all of us. Thanks again Andrew and Emma.

Beautiful villa in a very nice area

The villa Joya is a fantastic place to relax, have fun and to feel comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, the villa has enough space in each single room, lovely bathrooms and a big garden with a summer kitchen, we enjoyed very much to make our own pizza in the wooden fired oven and the BBQ as well as sitting outside with a glas of wine and enjoying the evenings. The pool is outstanding and big enough for our daily early morning swimming exercises. We want not forget to mention Andrew, the owner of the villa, who takes great care of his guests, always answers questions immediately and helps us out with a lot of recommendations of restaurants and places to be. We will come back, for sure!

Villa Joya

A superb traditional villa which has been tastefully modernised in parts but retaining many of its original features. The villa is spacious and is fully equipped to provide for all our needs. The standout features of this villa which separates from most alternatives is the outstanding pool and gardens which include a novel external kitchen area with its own bar which is also fully equipped and heightens the enjoyment of outdoor living. Ambience at nightime is further enhanced by the excellent external lighting system. The owner, Andrew, was exceptionally helpful in answering all questions immediately and the local contact, Paul, was constantly on hand and went to great efforts to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Le Plan de la Tour is an ideal base to discover the area and the village itself is delightful and provides for most needs including shops, a couple of small supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a lively market on Thursday.

Wir waren begeistert, eine sehr beeindruckende Villa. Bei unserer Ankunft warteten bereits gut gekühlte Getränke auf uns. Die Beleuchtung des Gartens und der Außenküche, äußerst geschmackvoll. Im Vorfeld unserer Herbstreise hat uns der Gastgeber ausführlich informiert und war während des Aufenthalts immer kontaktierbar. Da das Wetter aufgrund des Mistrals diesjährig nicht optimal war, war es umso wichtiger, eine schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft zu haben.

Vi havde en fantastisk uge i Villa Joya. Vi var to familier med teenage børn, og vi nød allesammen det utroligt lækre udeareal. Vi havde stor glæde af faciliteterne, så som pizzaovn, udendørsbar, bordtennis og selvfølgelig den lækre swimmingpool. Huset indeholdte alt hvad vi havde brug for, og mere til. Andrew var meget hjælpsom og var altid tilgængelig. De bedste anbefalinger herfra. Vi kommer tilbage.

Gemütliches Haus in den Weinbergen der Provence

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa Joya sehr genossen. Das Grundstück bietet viel Platz und unser persönliches Highlight waren der sehr schöne große Pool und das Poolhäuschen mit Barbereich und Steinofen. Einfach herrlich, dort frische Pizza bei schöner Abendbeleuchtung zu genießen. Und wer zu dieser Zeit das Handy nicht weglegen kann, empfängt überall super WLAN. Bei Fragen war Andrew stets sehr schnell zu erreichen und als wir Hilfe vor Ort benötigten, war Paul sehr schnell da. Die Möblierung ist nicht so vornehm, dass man sich im Haus nicht zu bewegen traut. Die von zu Hause mitgebrachten Pfannen und Messer brauchten wir nicht auszupacken, das Equipment in der Küche war einfach super. Ein rundherum gelungener Aufenthalt in Le Plan-de-la-Tour

Sehr gut

Das Objekt ist sehr gut geeignet für Familien mit Kindern und Hund. Wohnen, Essen und Küche sind sehr gut. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht, der aussen Grill ist sehr praktisch. Die Badezimmer und vor allem die Duschen sind relativ eng.

Alles in allem noch okay

Viel Platz als Familie mit 6 Personen und Hunden. Toller Pool, Aussenbereich und Küche/Bar am Pool. Pizzaofen bei der Poolbar einfach toll um mal selbst eine Holzofenpizza zu machen. Mobiliar sollte dringend mal ersetzt oder repariert werden, wirkt doch schon sehr abgewohnt. Bäder sind gut fotografiert, fallen dann ausser im Elternschlafzimmer (mit Glasscheibe abgetrennt) doch schon sehr klein aus für eine Villa. In der Zeit unseres Aufenthalts war leider sehr viel Bautätigkeit in der Nachbarschaft mit LKW Verkehr und Baggerbetrieb. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war immer gut und freundlich. Größter Kritikpunkt ist die Sauberkeit, gerade in der Küche wurde nicht wirklich so geputzt wie wir das erwartet hatten. ( Kühlschrank, Arbeitsplatte, Brotschrank und Microwelle waren stark verschmutzt) Wir haben dann selbst geputzt da wir keine Störungen durch Nachbesserungsarbeiten in unseren Ferien wollten.

Absolutely stunning

A fabulous stay with great communication throughout from booking to departure. The Villa is a picture postcard with everything you could wish for and more, we hardly left as dining in around the pool with bbq and pizza oven just made a great family experience. Full marks to Andrew and Paul.

A perfect Villa and thoroughly enjoyable holiday

My family (4 adults, 1 10-month old) thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Villa Joya in June. The house is ideally located just a few minutes drive from the local village which has plenty to offer, it’s also a short drive to the likes of St Maxime and St Tropez, is easy to get to/from Nice airport and last but not least the Villa is just a 30 second walk to a fantastic pizza restaurant. The house itself is stunning, perfectly in-keeping with the area, nice cool stone exterior and welcoming and ideal inside for everything you could need. The pool was just fantastic for the hot days, the pool bar and bbq area was used very frequently and enjoyed the villa at night so much that we hardly ate out, preferring to enjoy our surroundings with dinner at the Villa via the pizza oven. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with, access to the house was easy and all this combined together made for a fantastic holiday for the family. 10/10!!! Will be back!

We are well acquainted with the surrounding area, and after much searching were delighted to first discover, then purchase our dream villa in our favourite location. Plan de la Tour is a delightful unspoilt French village, a picturesque haven to the North West part of the Gulf of St Tropez. The village is well resourced with shops, restaurants and wine co-operatives. Villa Joya is set amidst vineyards in a small hamlet above the village, with quiet, secluded and enclosed grounds, yet within easy reach of the Gulf of St Tropez, through either Ste Maxime or the picturesque village of Grimaud. The area has something for everyone, from the glitz and glamour of Monaco and St Tropez, the quiet tranquil French village life and everything in between.

You will find the property well equipped both internally and externally with all the ingredients for a great family holiday, or a simple pad from which to 'chill'. We hope you share our love of food and make use of the outdoor kitchen with Italian wood fired pizza oven, French plancher as well as the more traditional Australian BBQ!
