Great stay

The location and the size of the house was perfect for our group of 5 adults. we’ve been going to the area for 9 years now so know it well. The house whilst has everything you need it could use a bit of TLC.

Great Pool

Great pool and garden. The house is spacious and light and the pictures give an accurate representation. It is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, about 15/20 minutes walk to the main town center and port.

Grosses Haus mit privatem Pool

Das Haus ist wirklich geräumig. Wir waren mit meinen Schwiegereltern plus Schwager in den Ferien und es gab genug Platz für alle. Auch wenn man mal etwas Ruhe brauchte. Im Haus und auf der Terasse gleichermassen. Der Pool war in dieser Hitze natürlich wunderbar. Das Gitter davor schützte die Kinder. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte bis auf ein Zimmer gut. Die Terasse war wegen der Baustelle nebeban immer mit Staub/Sand überzogen. Allgemein war der Aussenbereich nicht mega sauber, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. Alles in allem eine super Unterkunft. Wir weden wieder buchen. Vielen herzlichen Dank.

Bon séjour

Très bon séjour dans cette propriété, avec une grande piscine sécurisée et une belle terrasse. Pour des vacances, c’est l’idéal Seul bémol, la climatisation du haut ne fonctionnait pas. Plusieurs personnes sont venus, en vain, elle n’a pas été réparé ce qui est très dommage au vu des chaleurs que nous avons eu (obligé de descendre dormir dans le salon car trop chaud en haut)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la propriété de Monsieur Jarvis. L’emplacement est idéal dans Marseillan et le trajet pour aller au Cap d’Agde se fait rapidement. La villa est idyllique avec sa grande piscine ! Au top

Schön!

Der Checkin und Checkout war dank Schlüsseltresor völlig problemlos. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und hat eine prima Klimaanlage. Der Pool war perfekt und wurde, von uns unbemerkt, gewartet. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, Stadtmitte und Supermärkte bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es für die Aktualität der Fotos in der Beschreibung. Die schöne Palme neben dem Pool existiert nur noch als verpackter Stamm. Die Schlafzimmer sind alle umgeräumt, was uns etwas verwirrt hat, aber keine Auswirkung auf den Aufenthalt hatte. Vielleicht wird der defekte Sonnenschirm noch ausgetauscht, dann ist alles perfekt! Wir hatten einen Super Urlaub, in einem schönen Haus in einer fabelhaften Umgebung! Vielen Dank!

Wonderful Holiday

Very comfortable spacious well equipped house, felt a home from home. Highlights are the pool and location. Easy walking distance to beautiful port, excellent restaurants and supermarket. Outside sitting area and large heated pool with easy steps was enjoyed by grandparents, parents and 4 young children. We stayed early July and the air conditioning was essential.

A perfect holiday

We have just returned from our second stay at Maison Mima and could not recommend it more. This comfortable four double bedroomed house is in a quiet cul de sac within an easy walking distance of the delightful Marseillan Port with its buzzing restaurants and lively Tuesday market. The house itself has every facility you could wish...including wifi, air con, freesat TV; and the jewel in the crown has to be the wonderful heated pool which enjoys the sun all day. The decked seating area gives plenty of shade and comfortable furniture to relax on and to enjoy any outside meals. Location is key here too. There are two large supermarkets within a two minute drive, and plenty to do in nearby Marseillan Plage, Adge Sete and Meze. The historic Pezenas with its large Saturday market is within an easy driving distance and a must to visit. Seafood is plentiful as you would expect and these local restaurants are excellent with reasonably priced 3 course menus. The owners are extremely helpful, and the property is well maintained by the most delightful manager. We have thoroughly enjoyed both our stays and would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Great property

Overall really impressed. Really spacious villa with 4 good (evenly) sized bedrooms - all air conditioned and with plenty of storage space. Upstairs, as well as the bedrooms, there is a really large bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bath and double wash basin and a separate loo. Downstairs is a large L-shaped living room / dining / kitchen with French windows onto a terrace with lounging area and dining table. There is a DVD (and CD) player so I'd recommend taking a few DVDs with you if you are planning an evening in. There's also WiFi. Outside there is a lovely pool (steps into it at the shallow end) and the garden seems to get the sunshine for most of the day. We didn't have children with us but we would have felt safe if we had as there was a child safety lock to access the pool. The village (Marseillan) is within easy walking distance and the restaurants were great - really quite reasonably priced and, of course, seafood (particularly shellfish) is plentiful. We ate out a lot and didn't had a bad meal. The local wine, of course, was excellent. There's a Carrefour supermarket just down the road (with a great fish counter) which was really convenient. Locally, we explored Marseillan, Pezenas, Cap d'Adge, Sete and (a bit further away) Carcassone. We only had to call the local property manager once with a query and she was really helpful. We went in early September and the weather was very good - I had expected a bit more cloud, but it was lovely. I can't think of any negatives. All in all a really great stay.

Exellent holiday home

We have stayed at Maison Mima for two weeks.Very well presented ,clean holiday home, comfotable beds, plenty of room for adults and teenages.Most wonderful swiming pool,good size and perfect temperature.Amasing outdoor setting including comfortable sitting and large table and chairs to have meals.Easy walking distance to town with many nice restaurants and boulangerie. Everybody was pleased with the choice of a villa,lovely town,nice weather and uncrouded beaches nearby.

Soleil et détente

C'est mon épouse anglaise Julia qui nous a trouvé cet endroit magnifique pour enfin passer 2 semianes de vacances en famille. Nous et les enfants avons eu un séjour merveilleux dans cette maison calme, bien équipée et décorée qui présente par ailleurs l'avantage extreme d'une proximité des plages et du si beau petit port de Marseillan. Nous nous sommes régalés de produits locaux et de poissons frais, de balades en famille dans un climat serein et plein de joie. Je recommande vivement à d'autres familles de partager de tels moments.

A Hidden Gem

We had a fabulous week, the property is perfect for both adults and kids, with a great pool area. BUT best of all, evenings down by the harbour, a beautiful setting with restaurants catering for all. We ate out every night in a different restaurant then meandered home to sleep off the excess of fantastic food and wine!

Excellent villa

Maison Mima is a beautifully decorated and very well furnished villa with a fantastic pool. Our family loved the superb patio area and we all enjoyed the pool and sunbathing areas. There's plenty of space and the fittings are uniformly high quality. The villa is set in a quiet and pleasant area just a short walk from the town centre and marina with its ample choice of restaurants. In the local area we thoroughly enjoyed the water park at Cap D'Agde and we found some uncrowded, lovely beaches along from Marseillan Plage, where it is possible to park close by and to spread out on the sand a bit.

When we first came on holiday here, we fell in love with the charm of Marseillan town, the beautiful beaches and surrounding countryside. There are plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from and also local shops to buy delicious food and BBQ and cook at home. There was a recent article that described Marseillan as “St Tropez before Bardot” and that does sum up the charm, warmth and style of this lovely village.

The facilities at the villa are fantastic with swimming, bbq, lovely internal and external living space. When you do go out into Marseillan, there are so many great restaurants to visit and the views around the port are lovely. The close proximity to the beaches is wonderful and Agde, Pezanas, Cap D'Agde are all within a 20 minute drive. Carcassone and Montpellier are also close for day trips.
