Everything was great. We wish cellular was stronger but likely it is good for us to do without. Loved it so much we are heading back for the last few days of our tour of the heberdies.

Ein wunderbares kleines Häuschen. Perfekt eingeteilt, vor allem mit einem sehr großen Bad (Dusche, Badewanne, Sauna, usw.). Geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.

I really enjoyed my stay. Beautiful located, peaceful and remote. The Glen is wonderful. The Weaver House was so cosy and exeeded my - with lovely interior and much more space than the Inserat is suggesting. Susie is a very thoughtful and friendly host and so are the pony Noah and the two dogs.

Si vous cherchez un lieu au milieu de la nature, c'est le petit nid qu'il vous faut.. même pas besoin de clé..La grande salle de bain avec douche baignoire sauna électrique apportent un plus à ce gîte à la vue incomparable.

A cosy hideaway in a gorgeous location. The shed is a little bit larger than it looks in the photos, with a small sauna, bathtub and shower. We were certainly comfortable during our stay! Susie is super friendly and easy to get hold of, and we felt very welcome. We arrived by local bus, and exploring Lewis by bus is doable, but requires a tiny bit of planning since buses are not super frequent. We would love to come back to Lewis and the shed!

Loved the serenity. The sauna, large bath were very good. The small views from the window were charming with a bird feeder strategically placed for bird watching. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator was miniscule (I was told prior to arrival it was"bench height") - it was knee height. Don't make the mistake I did and stock up on fresh food, there's barely any space. The cooking facilities were likewise minimalist. Less than one square foot of free benchspace. A constant and annoying juggle to cook a meal. On arrival I was anticipating meeting the welcoming and friendly, helpful host I had read about in reviews. Susie was in a rush, a long list of what shouldn't do, a reluctance to explain the workings of the cottage and a hurried departure. Thankfully her husband was far more forthcoming with local advise. I did appreciate, however, Susie giving me antihistamines as I developed an extremely uncomfortable allergic reaction to some plant or pollen on her property. I was, after 3 days spent indoors due to illhealth, able to drive around Lewis and enjoy it's beauty.

Das Häuschen hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Es ist traumhaft schön, liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles, was man sich wünschen könnte. Die Lage ist einzigartig und man hat einen tollen Blick über die Bucht. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Danke für die Brownies und die Eier.Das Häuschen ist viel größer, als es auf den Fotos aussieht. Besonders das Bad mit der Sauna und der Wanne ist ein Traum. Volle Empfehlung! Wir kommen wieder.

Comfortable, scenic and welcoming hosts

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage - it is very comfortable and has gorgeous views and a lovely sauna and bathtub which made for a relaxing stay! Susie was incredibly friendly and welcoming and gave us great tips on things to do locally. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Warm & welcoming host . Beautiful accommodation and location.

We had a very friendly welcoming arrival from Susie. Her directions to get to property were excellent.The cottage was bigger than it looked in the pictures. It was snug and cosy and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for our stay. And it smelled so nice. We loved the view and the remote location. Susie is a very thoughtful host. There was some home baking when we arrived, a little vase of fresh flowers and fresh eggs! The sauna was a bonus!

Small, beautiful and completely peaceful

Very small but well-kept shed with a great wellness area that takes up almost half of the room. The shed was cosy and there was everything you need for 2 people. However, there is very little space for the own things, so we only took the essentials into the shed and left the rest in the car, which was parked a short distance away. We also had to improvise a little in the kitchen due to the lack of space and the very small fridge. Overall, however, it was a very nice stay in absolute peace and quiet and with a fantastic view of the sea. We would love to come back.

Très bel endroit pour un séjour relaxant ! Déconnection totale !Logement bien équipé, propre avec une très belle vue sur la lande environnante. Das mit Abstand beste Quartier der ganzen Tour, ohne Zweifel. Ausstattung qualitativ und vom Stil durchgängig vom feinsten. Alles ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und ausgesucht. Das Bad hat geradezu Wellness-Qualität. Der Innenraum ist deutlich größer, als die Bilder es vermuten lassen. Die Bettwäsche ein Traum. Der Ausblick sensationell. bi Und das Heulen des Windes besser als jede Einschlafmusik!Mit der Küchenausstattung (1 Kochplatte, Pfanne, Töpfe, Mikrowelle, Reiskocher, Wasserkocher, Toaster) kamen wir prima zurecht für warmes Frühstück und kleine Mahlzeiten. Die selbstgemachten Kuchenstücke und die 6 Eier der eigenen Hennen als Willkommensgrüße waren dann das i-Tüpfelchen. Selbst die ausgelegten Flyer waren sorgfältig zusammengestellt: Lokale Künstler und Geschäfte (von denen auch viel von der Ausstattung wie zB Bilder, Untersetzer, Toasthalter, Kissenbezüge, Handtücher, … stammt) und lokale Unternehmungen. Der Community-Gedanke wird hier noch gelebt. Die Gastgeberin Susie wirkte anfangs angespannt, vermutlich nach kürzlich erhaltenen negativen Kritiken, als Gäste ohne Wifi so gar nichts mit sich anzufangen wussten, und taute und lockerte sehr schnell auf, als sie merkte, dass es uns wirklich gefällt, und sprudelte geradezu gute Tipps.

Cosy place to stay

The Weavers Shed was very cosy. It was in a very peaceful location and the view from the window was beautiful looking down to the bay and the sea. We saw deer out of the window. The shower and bath were lovely and it was good to come home to these after being out in the wind (and sometimes rain). Susie was very helpful and gave us good information on things to see locally. We were also welcomed with home made brownies! Thank you.

Peaceful Getaway

Susie was quite friendly and a wonderful host. The weaver’s shed is quaint, peaceful, and wonderful. Susie left us homemade lemon cake when we checked in and half a dozen fresh eggs we could make for breakfast. The shed overlooks a valley with a burn leading to a sea cove and it’s just a great spot if you want some peace after a day’s activities. I highly recommend staying here!
