Golf trip

Property was as advertised. Location is great. We liked the space and size of the condo. Beds are okay. Past reviews have mentioned poor lighting. It wasn’t an issue for us.We would stay again.

Nowhere better in MB than Kingston Plantation

Nice 4BR with 6 beds which is what we needed. Very large and comfortable with great kitchenProperty Manager was very responsive and flexible with me which I appreciated. Kingston Plantation is amazing. True resort living and safe gated community with private beach. Only things I’d criticize are rugs are super stained. Time to replace I don’t think they can even be cleaned Also not sure why keys need to be picked up 20 minutes away when there’s a mailroom with lock boxes in the building.

Beautiful and VERY roomy

The condo was in great condition. It had so much space and was perfect for the 8 of us. We loved it!

Not impressed with rental management

The condo itself was fine except for the fact that this unit has no overhead lights, so bedrooms and especially living room are very dark. Even in the middle of day with all windows open and lamps on. If the darkness bothers you will be crazy. When we went thru the check in process the rental company explained that if there was so much as a blemish on the linens they provide we would be charged 70$. Upon arrival to the unit there were no blankets- only the decorative bedspread, several blown light bulbs, there are no overhead lights except in the kitchen so it keeps the condo very dark. The lights in the kitchen take several hours to come on ( several other people mention this in their reviews) we were missing a toilet seat, had 6 towels total -2 per bathroom, ice maker broken with a sign that read get ice downstairs but per Margate Towers employees there is no ice that was available and the icing one the cake was the dryer was broken. No dryer makes it hard to have 6 total towels for 7 days and 8 people, plus I only packed a few beach expecting to be able to do laundry. When attempting to communicate with Palmetto about unit was told too bad stuff breaks/ which I understand but we also had to spend several days and money hanging out in a laundry mat. With spending over 4 grand would of liked to see better customer service from management company. You could tell they were paid so it didn’t really matter if you were aggravated for the inconveniences

Back Again!

Also appreciate all the pots, pans, utensils, etc that made our stay a lot more comfortable. The property was able to accommodate a party of 8, which was a breath of fresh air. Mold in shower was off putting. Each toilet was sealed as sanitized which was nice. I just wish that emphasis was put on the showers as well. The towel bar in the front bathroom is still "broken" from last year. The shower head in the front bathroom sprays water everywhere and most likely is contributing to the peeling paint. Kitchen light takes 2 hours to "warm up" (annoying). Sectional moves all over the place. Seems like a quick was put in to attach them but it’s ineffective. Let there be LIGHT in the living and dining rooms.

Excellent location

The house was clean and roomy. The beds were more comfortable than any hotel I've ever stayed in. Neighbors were quiet. I would definitely recommend this house and Palmetto

Family vacay

We were in town for large family gathering. We rented 7 total units within the Kingston Resort. We've stayed at this property before and love it for its access to uncrowded beachfront as well as other on site amenities Ike multiple pools, shops, etc. This particular unit in Margate was nice. Well appointed and one of the rooms has a side view of the beach. The main balcony has a view of the parking lot. The only thing that needs improvement is tue checkin process. You are required to go to an offsite property to pick up keys even though the unit has a key-code lock for digital access. It is a very outdated process and is not traveler friendly.

Lacking Amenities and Cleanliness, Excellent location, beautiful beach

This condo was located at the beautiful Margate Towers. I stayed with my husband and our 5 children ages 12-20. The staff at the tower was friendly and helpful, the beach was beautiful and the two pools and hot tub were very enjoyable. The Condo itself was very spacious and decorated beautifully, but details were definitely missed. Communication with the property manager and owner of the property was challenging at best and our one major complaint (broken unusable jacuzzi tub) was never addressed nor were phone calls returned. The floors were dirty around the edges, carpets covered in stains and a load of dirty towels left unwashed in the washing machine when we arrived. All the bed pads were torn and loud and “crunched” when you moved on the mattresses. One of the dresser drawers had spaghetti noodles in it and clothes were left from previous guests in another. We are a make it work family however, and we made the best of things and had an enjoyable beach vacation! We appreciated having a washer and dryer for beach towels and suits, appreciated the beach umbrella that was provided, enjoyed the beautiful view from our balcony and enjoyed family meals at the spacious beautiful dining table.

This time we stayed at the 2309 Penthouse at the Margate Towers. It's a beautiful property with 4 nice bedrooms, 3 full baths, and more than enough living room and kitchen space for two families. We stayed here back in 2016 too, and loved it. The unit is starting to age a bit (leather sectional is starting to peel and needs replaced, as do the carpets in the bedrooms), but everything else was perfect. Melanie and her devoted staff at Palmetto Vacations were a joy to deal with, as usual. We will be back!

Buddy golf getaway

Our only concern was the responses from maintenance when one of the TVs didn’t work. There response was to search for extra batteries in a kitchen drawer. There were none, so just did without the TV. No big deal. Great location and we’ll maintained.

Beautiful Location and Accommodation

Great place to stay for the whole Family. Pool was never over crowded. Security was stellar. Felt very safe the whole time. Very relaxing atmosphere. The side door of condo was great for reentry from the beach and pool. Only umbrellas are aloud at the beach for shade in this county no Canopies are aloud. When going to and from the beach shoes,cover-up and Shirt must be worn and the service elevator must be used. The pantry was great and handy lots of storage though out condo. The master bedroom had great view of parking lot and tops of houses there is only a small glimpse of the ocean view from the Queen side bedroom. Very roomy but definitely needs to be updated especially in particular the couch which was a huge disappointment. Carpet could use a good cleaning.

Nice place, but nothing included

The condo was nice, but the drawers were dusty and there were roaches on the balconies. The fridge was brand new but only made enough ice for one or two glasses every 6 hours. It was very inconvenient for a group of 8 people. There was a sign in the freezer that said FYI there is an ice machine beside the pool/beach elevators. This is 23 floors down! The washer and dryer are amazing! Super fast! There were no passes for the little water park/lazy river at the Embassy Suites that have been included every time we’ve rented at Kingston Plantation. There is nothing about it in the info and my kids were a little upset. We went to Myrtle Waves water park and they had fun. The kitchen had all kinds of pots and pans and utensils, but I would bring a sharp knife or two. We loved the big couch in the living room and the big dining room table. The WiFi was good but you have to look in a book we weren’t informed about. The instructions from the rental agency don’t get you connected to WiFi. The pools downstairs were both nice, clean and uncrowded. We had a wonderful relaxing time, but we probably won’t stay in this location again. There really was a lot more good than bad, but t it was just different than when we have stayed at Kingston Plantation before.

It's as beautiful as the pictures.

We found some leftover items (nut shells, toys, canvas) that were unexpected; however, the property is spectacular.
