Absolutely stunning and great hospitality!

Antonello is an amazing host. He was flexible and accommodating when our trip plans changed due to weather. He met us so that we could more easily find the VRBO. He even treated us to a jar of homemade tomato sauce and pasta.

Wonderful stay

Great remote location, beautiful home, short drive to major cities and small town centers. Because of the remote location, service and WiFi are spotty, so don’t plan to work. But local town centers do have cafes with WiFi. Antonello was SUPER helpful with recommendations and accommodations. Highly recommend.

Great place - Could use some updates

The apartment is well situated with great views and close to Captain Cook, one of the better beaches in the area. The couch and bed + sheets are very basic and not comfortable. Kitchen could use more supplies for people who want to cook. Mixer etc.

The Italy I wanted to experience

This beautiful 15th century Villa was set in the middle of lemon groves on a quiet street. The view was spectacular, and the accommodations were immaculately clean. Antonello and his beautiful mother greeted us with homemade tomato sauce and said goodbye to us with a bottle of homemade lemoncello. They made arrangements for our boat trip to Capri and offered to help arrange many other options to explore the area. A dinner at Nastro D’Oro, (5 minutes away) is an absolute must! Fresh seafood, prepared exquisitely. We only stayed four days and wished we had booked our whole time there instead.

The apartment is beautiful - stunning. Views from every window, comfortable, and charming. We all loved the big windows (and ability to make the bedrooms dark of desired). An easy and pretty walk down to the beach, with a walk up that makes sure you look good in a bikini (but really, the walk up is not bad at all!). The host was extremely helpful and communicative, and helped me with a number of surprise issues and plans. We were so grateful! You need a small car, but with one everything is easy and beautiful!

Great stay

We had just a little miscommunication on the initial contact and check in, but after we met with Antonello, he came and met us at the property, everything else was absolutely perfect. He was a very gracious host, he even helped. Arrange a very fun boat ride to Capri Island. He answered all the questions, and, even had waiting for us at the Home some of his homemade spaghetti sauce and pasta. The parking was a little frustrating, but only by American standards, actually just the entire island and area is very difficult. So once we adjusted that and figured that out, there were no problems, just be aware that, the roads are very tight and narrow and parking in general is very difficult in the entire area. He did have a reserved parking area and once we figured that out, everything was great. Overall with highly recommend, just be aware of the difficulties in the area, nothing but positive reviews for Antonello

Merveilleux !

L'appartement situé dans une bâtisse du XIXème siècle est juste fabuleux, meublé avec goût et tradition, il offre une vue magique sur Capri. Tout est très fonctionnel et d'une propreté sans faille. L'accueil réservé par Antonello et ses parents est plus que chaleureux. D'une gentillesse à toute épreuve, ils nous ont grandement facilité la vie. C'est un havre de tranquillité au milieu des oliviers qui surplombe une baie rocheuse où l'on peut se baigner dans une eau azur . Même si la route d'accès est un peu étroite pour les grosses voitures, nous n'avons jamais eu à croiser personne ! Pour vous dire la tranquillité du village de Marciano ! Idéal pour se reposer et diriger ses visites vers Naples, Capri, Pompéi ou la côte amalfitaine, nous tenions encore à remercier les propriétaires pour leurs gentilles attentions à notre départ ! Grazie mille !!! Torneremo siccuramente !

Enjoyed our stay

Antonello and his supporters were always accessible, responsive and knowledgeable about area sights. Once we found the Villa it was spacious and well supplied. The furniture is worn and needs updating.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and secluded. Great A/C. Amazing views. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small but complete kitchen. The hosts spent a lot of time with us checking in and out to ensure our stay was great. They brought us several items from their garden. It was a fantastic stay! Thank you!

Beautiful in every way!

Antonello and his mother are superb hosts. On our arrival, there was a basket containing soup and wine made by their family, and some local lemons. They went further beyond expectations to help us, by taking us to the local supermarket. The property is very pretty, and well equipped. It’s location has stunning views and quick access to shops, restaurants and public transportation. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place, AMAZING host!

Fantastic quiet getaway with gorgeous views, and a very old-world charm. Our host was super helpful, and made everything incredibly easy. Don't miss the restaurant just up the street main road, Ristorante Nastro D'Oro - amazing! A couple things to know in advance: The driving is a bit crazy in this part of the world, just relax. The property is near the water, but it's a big cliff down - it's not beachfront. And the three bedrooms are connected in a row, so if someone in BR #2 needs to get up in the middle of the night, they have to walk through one of the other two rooms. Minor stuff, really. It's a beautiful location and it was a delightful place to stay!

Beautiful spacious villa that is perfect for 2 couples or a family of 6.

Located 30 minutes from Sorrento this villa is the perfect location to explore the Amalfi area. The view of Capri Island from the living room is amazing. It was easy to reach by car and has a parking space close to the villa. Antonello and his family are wonderful hosts. He and his mother greeted us with fresh vegetables from their garden, fresh eggs from their chickens and home made wine, making us feel very welcome. They were available during our entire stay to answer our questions and assist us in booking excursions and making recommendations for beaches and places to see. Our stay was 8 days and the villa had all the amenities that we required. We loved the location. Captain Cook beach was a short walk away but there was a shuttle to take which made the climb back up the hill much easier. There was also Mary's Beach which was 20-30 minute away that you can drive to with parking only a couple meters from the beach. We would recommend a car for the area. There is a local bus but it is a fair distance to walk to the main road. We would like to thank Antonello and his family for making our vacation such a memorable experience.

Great place with an amazing host

We loved our stay! It's a very charming place that is comfortable, well maintained, and looks great. It has an amazing view of Capri, and is a short walk from a secluded beach. The access to Sorrento, Positano, and other areas is very good. Antonello is a great host. He was helpful and gracious, and gave us a very helpful review of the apartment. We would stay again in a heartbeat and hope to return soon!
