Perfect beach location, totally stocked kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, great deck and seating. This was our second stay at High Point....8 adults and 2 teens. We will definitely be back. The best house in the area.

Beautiful home right on the beach. All bedrooms have a great view of the ocean. Parking was excellent and the elevator to send up all our stuff was a great bonus. Great room was perfect for our family with five grandkids, dining all in one spot was perfect. Kitchen was well organized to have three moms all in one area at one time preparing food for the little ones. Just south of the seawall with what could be described as a private beach. Would highly recommend.

The house is gorgeous. It is perfectly designed to accommodate 17 people. The children’s bunk room, kitchen, and living room are delightfully decorated. The downstairs area and the back stairs need to be repainted and fire ants were everywhere. The shower area is in need of paint and has very little water pressure.We quickly ran out of hot water in the 2nd floor primary bathroom, and there may be a small water leak under the first sink in there.These items were small inconveniences considering the gorgeous view from the windows!Christine and Karen were very kind and helpful. Christine was, “Johnny on the spot” when we had a question.

A great week in Galveston

Our extended family (ages 18 to 83) just completed a week in the High Point house on Hershey Beach. The house was very clean, everything worked properly, we didn't need to contact the owners once...I couldn't recommend it enough.

Spacious, Open, Fabulous View, Worked for Us!!!!

Family reunion celebrating two wonderful birthdays. Perfect for all couples w/separate baths. Bunk room worked well for college grads, college students & two younger.Loved kitchen w/huge dining table but could have used a bigger refrig. Few things not working but sons were able to repair; blenders were not workable.All bedrooms need window shades/shutters/cover. Mirror needed in pyramid bedroom plus ceiling light replaced.Master door on first floor didn't close....elevator a treat but once didn't come up to floor level but door opened.Parking was great! Would definitely recommend.

Very nice accomodations

This is a great property and overall our experience was enjoyable. A couple of drawbacks, the TV did not work and we looking forward to watching the Final Four Games. We had to make a Target run to get a HDMI cable to make the TV in the living area work. The downstairs bathroom and kitchen had little to no hot water. Upstairs showers were not an issue.

Perfect for my family!

The house was truly spectacular! We plan to come back every year! The elevator and the pellet grill were added bonuses! Definitely a 5 star home!

Celebrating our Mom, Mamaw’s 90th Birthday! Family 2024 Vacation

We had an amazing time at the Waymire house! The owners house is as beautiful as the pictures show it to be! It’s a large house, a big beautiful kitchen, a big deck out back to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets and enjoy the ocean breeze while on their private beach! There was 16 of us and we all had plenty of room without feeling we were on top of each other and plenty of room to lay our heads at night! House was very clean, nicely decorated and plenty of kitchen supplies for all our needs! The owners are spectacular at responding if you need anything or have any questions! We will definitely love to visit and stay at this house again next year! Thank you for letting us enjoy your this beautiful home!

I was born and raised in Houston Texas and my family all lives in Houston Texas. We built this house after going down to Galveston every summer and renting houses for summer vacations. We took everything we liked in homes we rented knowing when we built this house we would be renting it.

High Point is a perfect house for multiple families having six bedrooms (most) with private baths. High Point can accommodate 17 comfortably with its 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The main living area is all one big great room with the kitchen, dining and living room all open - Great for family reunions, birthday parities, etc... It's oceanfront on the west end of Galveston only three miles from the seawall. Plenty of parking with wait for it an elevator that services all but the kids bunk room.

Six Bedrooms (two masters) 5.5 baths; kid bunk room that sleeps six with its own bathroom on the top floor! Two fireplaces, elevator (did I mention the elevator), multiple decks (one main deck off the kitchen/living area Gulf front and 2 bedrooms with private decks Gulf front but a little higher view) with Gulf of Mexico views and speakers, washer and dryer included so you can pack light, two dishwashers and surround sound in living area.
