One of the most beautiful rentals we have ever stayed in 20 years of traveling as a family. The home is immaculately clean, comfortable and organized. The pics don’t do it justice. The beach is only a couple of blocks away and there’s a perfect view of the crashing waves from the front balconies. The layout is perfect for a large family or multiple families. Everyone has their own bathroom! (A necessity for us when traveling with teens). We have stayed in so many large homes that had piddly kitchen supplies but that was not the case with this home. The cabinets are fully stocked with quality dishware, cookware and everything you could possibly need. I love how the host labeled all the switches and handles and storage so that you could easily and efficiently live and work in each room. Two HVAC systems make all the difference to be comfortable in a large home! Fantastic enclosed yard for your doggo. Easy walk to the beach in a clean, quiet neighborhood. Lovely landscaping. Two living areas to send the noisy teens to the opposite end of the house! Classy and appropriate decor that doesn’t clutter up the spaces nor make it difficult to use countertops and tables (like some places we have stayed!) Ample seating for a large group. I could go on and on! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Galveston.

Wonderful stay, would definitely book again! Great communication from hosts. Everything was well labeled in home (lights, guidance for hurricane doors, etc). They even left us a little welcome package! Short walk to beach. Wonderful views. Well stocked cooking utensils and kitchen gadgets. Very comfortable stay for our extended family weekend getaway.

This property was the best I have rented since I started renting Beach Houses. The only thing was it was not close enough to the beach. Everything else was just awesome.My husband was very impressed with this beach house and he would love to return at a later date.

The neighborhood is amazing, clean friendly and safe. With easy access to the beach, which included amenities such as a bar and grill, bathrooms, etc, location cannot be beat. In addition, it is a quick trip to the hustling Galveston activities, to return to your quiet retreat. The house had everything we needed to host our family of 11: plenty of pans, dishes, etc. The welcome gift was a nice touch as well. Beds are comfortable. The house was very clean and just like the photos. We will be staying again in the future.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The house had plenty of space for our large family. The location is great. It is close to the seawall which makes it not to long to get to many restaurants and attractions. The house is a very short walk to the beach with good views of the water from the decks. The house was very clean and well equipped.

Beautiful house with ocean view, short and safe walk to the beach, lovely area, comfortable beds and stocked with everything we needed. This house was not lacking for anything. Host was very responsive to any questions that we had. We all had a great weekend stay here and would love to return!

Family’s Third Year in a Row!

We had a great stay here for the third summer in a row with our family. This house is perfect for all of our needs- always clean and AL and Joy are always responsive if we have any questions or concerns. We had cousins in bunk beds making memories, fenced in space perfect for the dogs, and plenty of room for everyone to spend quality time together.

Perfect location for an extended family getaway!

We have taken an annual vacation to Galveston with our siblings and all our kids for the past 14 years, and this house is probably the best we’ve found to accommodate our large family. The bedrooms are spacious and there’s plenty of bathrooms so we weren’t all having to wait long to get cleaned up after the beach. The cousins love hanging out together in the bunk room. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s lots of living space that allowed us to play games and visit as a group, but still retreat to bedrooms when quiet time was needed. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and we liked that there are no cars driving on that section of the beach to where we had to worry about that with the kids. I loved sitting out on the porch in the morning and enjoying the view of the ocean in such a peaceful and well-maintained neighborhood. Also a great location not far from the seawall so we were able to drive into town easily. The owners are great and super responsive. We’re already looking at dates to book again next year!

Great family home

This beach house is located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The walk to the beach is very quick and easy. The beach was not crowded and we enjoyed playing in the water, looking for crabs at night, and hunting for seashells in the early morning. We hope to stay again next year.

Such a great location and plenty of room! The views from the deck are so relaxing. We stayed here with 3 families and had a great long weekend. The walk to the beach is so quick and easy.

We are located 5.3 miles west of Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn waterpark, 9 miles from The Strand and 7.6 miles from Pleasure Pier. We have a wonderful secluded neighborhood feel at our home but we are close to everything. Our beach is one of the best in the area, in my opinion and only about 100 yards from our home. It is a very easy walk. We are a short drive to Magic Carpet mini golf, batting cages and Jimmy's on the pier(great place for food, beverages, coffee and fishing on the pier, you get to walk on the pier for free with any purchase). You can relax your day away at the beach, visit local attractions like Pleasure pier, Moody Gardens, historic homes, Pier 21 and watch the movie The Great Storm (eat at Willie G's while you are there. Amazing food! and they can stamp your parking voucher if you have one), walk around The Strand and shop and eat and sightsee. Watch the cruise ships in the terminal, visit the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig and Museum. While in the area visit Katie's Seafood Market for the freshest seafood around. You can rent Kayaks in multiple places, get a fishing charter for the bay or offshore, visit the State park and don't forget birdwatching. If you are looking for a spa visit The San Luis Resort and Spa or The Hotel Galvez spa. You will not be disappointed! There is wonderful shopping in The Strand district and if you want an outlet, Tanger Outlets are only 24 miles away. Nasa Space Center is an easy 35 miles away and if you have little ones The Bayou Wildlife Zoo is 32 miles away. You can ride the tram (i suggest early morning for best feeding and animal interaction but anytime is great!) through 80 acres lasting 30-40 minuets where you see deer, antelope, camels, buffalos and other exotic animals. Bring a picnic and enjoy the outdoors and of course visit the petting zoo. There are so many great restaurants I can't even begin! Kemah Boardwalk is only 30 miles away also. We sleep 14 comfortably, have 2 master suites and an open floor plan for enjoying your time with your loved ones and friends. We are in the best location in my opinion as we are on the west side of the seawall so we have a feeling of privacy and a fabulous non crowded beach 100 yards in front of our home but we are close enough to all the excitement that it is an easy outing to all the local attractions.
