We've just returned from a really wonderful two weeks at Villa Plagiari. It's certainly one of the nicest villas we've stayed in and Irini was so lovely and helpful and even brought up fresh figs and a watermelon on our first day.
The villa is very quiet and a short drive away from the nearest village, which has everything you need (supermarket, bakeries, pharmacy etc). We even found a basketball and football pitch in the village, which we made good use of. Local beaches are about 10 minutes away by car.
The villa was spotlessly clean and just as good as the photos. Our bed was super comfortable and we had loads of space, particularly in the downstairs open plan living room / kitchen / dining room. The children's rooms were well equipped, although the 3rd bedroom has a sofa bed. The outside area was stunning, particularly at night. There was a day bed, with TV, radio, plenty of loungers, jacuzzi, dining area and lots of other seats. The loungers were really comfortable and the view out to sea was stunning. It was so quiet during the day and we only saw the occasional farmer on a tractor.
The villa is in a great location for trips out to Halkidiki (which has lovely, albeit busier beaches) as well as to a local water park, Thessaloniki and local villages.
We have all come back feeling rested and would love to stay in the villa again. Thanks Irini and Costa for helping make it such a fab break for us.
